Honestly. The sound quality. The way the singers and musicians interpret the notes of this song and every song this very talented group plays, it's nothing short of perfect.
The smoothness of this performance proves to me that someday, somehow the saxophone will make it's way back to the center of popular music. I played trumpet and percussion in school but always respected the saxophonists and the other reed players.
As a keyboard player, I was never able to find other musicians of this high calibre _anywhere_ and eventually I gave up. But this is such a great, groovy version. Thanks!
Look,I’ve lived in West Virginia my entire 72 years and naturally love Bill Withers and all of his music, especially since he’s from here … but you guys did the best performance of this song I will ever here! The smooth funk jazz groove with the nice sax solos…and my goodness!! The singer, so relaxed with a spot on pitch perfect delivery. So beautiful… Bill would love it, Thank you
My appreciation of your music is equally because of your obvious enjoyment in playing and your knowing how well you play together…..end result is always brilliant. Con, you have done well in choosing the voices that particularly suit the songs. I wish you well in the U.S.
I have never cared unlikers in anyway until this point. But to unlike these wonderful musicians you must be really really deaf. This band made my day. This is the best version of Just the two of us. Guys, you are incredible and unbelievable. Thanks for all the soul you have inside.
without judging, am genuinely curious what made people dislike this... did they hear a drum beat out of rhythm slightly? did they think the singer didn't do enough vocal runs? like... what would make someone dislike the video?
I guess some people are really not meant for this music, just like how new musicians have untrained ears. I think you gotta have a certain level of understanding of how beautiful and elegant this music is to be able to comprehend the art and beauty of this composition
