  • Different than my usual videos, in this one I am reviewing my new vacuum: a Dyson V15 Detect cordless vacuum cleaner. I have never had a fancy vacuum like this, but I had a lot of fun vacuuming (a house that hadn't been vacuumed in 3 months, covered in pet hair) and playing with the different attachments and features of this vacuum. My favorite is the little chart that shows you how much dirt you've slurped up.

    There's 100s of videos on the vacuum, but this is the most useful one. It is frustrating to see people throw some cereal on a carpet and vacuum it for science, so thanks for showing us a real home in need of a good vacuum and how well this vacuum performs.

      The cereal 😂 That always cracks me up.

      You're welcome! It's been... however many months since I made this video and it's still working really well for me. There are some places, like the stairs, where it can't quite get into the corners very well but on flat ground it's quite effective. Just remember to clean the filter! It will actually remind you on the little screen, which is handy.

      @@Savallion that is great to know that the Dyson is still preforming really well for you, I’m in Australia so I don’t have any stairs that’s how most of our houses are built here, I had the V6 so I think this is going to be a really big upgrade even though it was very expensive for me to purchase $1344.00 dollars, but after watching you I think I made the right choice, thank you for the update ❤️

    This video was close to perfect and answered all my questions around this vacuum.

    That was probably the most entertaining video I’ve ever watched! Good job on showing us all that this vacuum can do. I think Dyson should be paying you or giving you a free vacuum! Well done!

    I have this vacuum too. When my partner wanted a cat my ultimatum was we need a Dyson if we will have a cat. The stuff you were picking up was likely dust and dead skin cells.

    Good video!
    You'll get about an hour runtime when the vacuum is in the Eco mode which is also good for throw rugs. For ease of vacuuming be sure the gates are completely open on the front of the carpet/beater bar attachment. You'll move the tab to the minus (-) side on the front of this attachment. Don't forget to let the battery run down once per month and then recharge, this will greatly prolong the life of it.
    (A length of yarn or an old shoelace, etc. can be used to tie on the handle where the power switch is to let the battery run completely out.)

      Eco with a suction attachment - not a powered attachment

      I'm glad it helped! I also notice a lot of people who review vacuums have channels all about cleaning, so even their "dirty" house is nowhere near as dirty as mine 😂

    The reason for the trigger button is that you let go for short periods when moving from one place to another, changing the tool or moving things out of the way and hence you get longer battery use as it's, for example, 60 minutes of actual use rather than 60 mins of "power on".

    I have a husky and two cats, so you think this is the best option for them?🤣 can I vacuuming the car?

    • @Savallion
      @Savallion  11 місяців тому +2

      I also have a husky, and 3 cats, so what you see here is almost exactly the same situation.
      I cannot tell you how well it works to vacuum a car, because I don't have a car. But it is a vacuum. As long as you're not trying to vacuum anything wet, it should work fine.
