That was epic my friend. It doesn't need to be said I am a fan of the original version, and I have heard some covers that weren't bad, but weren't over the top. Then I heard Michael Lee do this song on The Voice, and he, in my humble opinion, tore the roof off the joint and knocked down all the walls. Blake f**ked up, just like Adam did with you. Both times I actually yelled obscenities at the TV, but I digress. So as I was saying, Michael's version was my favorite cover, until you did what you just did. I can't compliment you enough on your guitar virtuosity and your unmatched vocal ability. All my life I have been a sucker for a skirt, and I have lived that song over and over again at great expense both emotionally and financially. With your voice you can give excruciating pain a sound. You can actually hear flesh tearing as someone's heart is being ripped out of their chest. I have lived that, so I know how it feels, but now I know what it sounds like. Your talent has no end. Thank you for sharing.
G'day Adam, Along with Whipping Post, I've watched and thoroughly enjoyed the videos I've seen so far. Your energy is infectious and you never disappoint... Cheers from the land down under.
So good. Such a classic. The Allman bros were at the head of the pack back then. Dwayne was unreal , his work on the Les Paul was unmatched . Florida boy . I am in Sarasota but will be relocating up to the pan handle towards your neck of the woods , maybe Pensacola. 🏌️💥🎯
You nailed it!!! I have been watching this as a guitar lesson. I so appreciate that you don't hide anything when you are making a video and we can see how you are actually playing it! Love it from Canada
Wow man, getting the same vibe and energy of WP from an acoustic setup is commendable. Awesome work on guitar fillups, and of course great vocals, no question about that.
Man, you nailed this one Adam. Real nice job. Great playing and vocals. Have not thought about this tune in quite a while, but you brought it up front and center on my RADAR. Great job!!
Damn man… I got an Allman Brothers request last week and gave this one a go. It was fun but sloppy, and I have been looking to brush up on it since. This will be my reference.
Great Cover! One of my favourites! Just one question: Do you play it live, alone? Just guitar and voice? If yes, you need a loop station with different memories and can change the memories with pedal? I ask because it has got almost 3 different guitars!
Thank you! So I play the first take alone, then I listen back on headphones to record the solos. I don't use any pedals when making the video, but I do use a Ditto Looper pedal when I play it live. Also, I made this video for people inquiring: studio.ua-cam.com/users/videolDD0d6yBph4/edit
@@AdamPearceMusic Thank you for your answer, and for the video! For live i'm thinking to use a loop station called: Digitech JamMan. It's old an model. I find it useful also because has got 4 pedals: one is rec/play second: stop, 3d , loop up, 4th loop down. In songs like this, if you have 3 different loops to use, for example, one for the solo back, one for the harmonization central and one for the intro, you can change easily and use both 3 just pressing a button. It's ideal for me because i use more than one loop in a song. For this it don't need double press, hold down or other uncobfortable think, just single press.
Nobody can debate the fact that THAT was incredible! You have been deep with that song for a long time and it shows in every detail.
Much appreciated!
Awesome! Love it!
Now that is THE best acoustic cover of that song EVER!!!!
Thank ya!
Wow!!! Blown away!!!!
Thank ya!
Great. Been waiting for this one. Always ready for some Allman Brothers. Thanks
Awesome!
@@AdamPearceMusic A few months ago, I requested "These Days" Gregg Allman version. Did you ever get a chance to check it out? Thanks

Very, very, very good !!! Now, there goes another suggestion: " Soulshine " - Warren Haynes ( Gov´t Mule ) 👏👏
I already did that on here. It's more of the Allman Brothers version though.
@@AdamPearceMusic Sorry ! yes it's true, you posted "Soulshine" about one year ago. I had forgotten.
You reached way down deep for that one. Thanks so very much.

I'm not sure what you mean.
Change that A minor to an A major and you've nailed it.
What A Minor? I don't play one until the very very last chord.
