I have done a few paint by numbers. I loved them for a long time. Then there were not many good quality kits. I used to do them when it was real oil paints. Now that is how long I have done them. I have 2 kits sitting here never even unboxed them. But I am thinking about seeing how good they are. I'll watch/listen to most any wip & chat you host. However, glad you tried that so I don't have to, lol!! That wouldn't be for me cause I never could color well or stay inside the lines as a child. My cub would come out like he put a claw in a socket!! I'm sure you'll master it with ease & do look forward to seeing the finished painting. 🙂
I did a paint by numbers as a kid it was a fish scene. Was it perfect? Lol no not at all since I have never really had the best vision but I was dang sure proud of it. I stopped because where I live it has become a rarity to find them so thank you for showing me this. I noticed some diamond painting sites had them but I was nervous to buy one because I didn't know what the quality would be like. Thank you for making videos and now I can pick back up a lovable hobby I had.
I would love for you to show us your progress of this cute little guy. I bought a very difficult one about 1 1/2 yrs ago, so many tiny areas to paint. It was a Masterpiece by Numbers and I was completely bummed because I hate not completing artwork, but my hand goes completely numb from the paint strokes in a matter of minutes. So, I rolled it up and said, maybe one day if a get carpel tunnel surgery. Zero problems with diamond painting though. Have fun, he will be beautiful and I’m sure we all would enjoy watching your painting come to life.😊
So the paints are acrylic??? When I did Paint By Numbers back in the 1970s, the paints were all oil paints, and they were terrible! If these are acrylic, I'm definitely interested!!!!
Nice... I like that all the individual colors are provided. My Daughter lost interest in her Paint by Number when it required you to start mixing colors together. That was to much for her. Also, I LOVE your ring... Have an Awesome Week :)
I have done paint by numbers before. I really like the ones that I don't have to mix the paint to achieve a certain color. Because I never got the mixed color the right shade or I would run out of paint so I could mix the colors. So when I by a kit now I really have to make sure that I don't have to mix the paint.
Would love to watch you do this. I haven't done a PBN since I was about Maggie's sge. My mom had framed it and had it on her wall until she died. For the record it was horrible!!!!
I have done Craft-Ease paint by numbers...the paints are acrylic, the clear paint pots are acrylic to cover your painting once its done to protect it. Clear gesso is painted onto the canvas before you start to do your paint by numbers...it will give you a smoother coverage. If you get a paint that doesnt cover the number well, just give it a light paint coverage with white paint first, let it dry then paint on with the correct color or you can use an acrylic water base marker to cover the numbers first...you're welcome

Also yes I would love for more videos of you doing this, walking us through different parts or giving tips along the way or as a wip in chat.
Btw they just tested me for some off the wall reason and say I'm yellow color blind. I told them they're nuts I hate yellow and know exactly what it is.
That's so funny that you got this because back in the beginning of April I ordered 2 of the Sybil Art canvases! However, mine didn't come packaging as nicely as your's did. Mine had no plastic wrap, the seal holding the paint pots pots, brushes, etc., was broken in one of them, there was no legend in one of them & my paint pots are much smaller & loose in a baggie. These came from China, but gotta say I was a little disappointed with the lack of care taken. Ordered 3 dp's at the same time & only got 2 of them! I know Maritza had some issues with them & believe I saw another video or 2 about issues. Seems like they are kinda hit or miss sometimes 😕
Well mode than likely those we're shipped out of the US where this one was shipped from within the us so packaging and shipping we're different. Did you contact the Company?

And yes, I emailed them multiple times... literally took me 6 emailing before I was able to get answers & that was just about the missing dp...I hadn't even received the paint by numbers yet. According to tracking they haven't even left China yet, but I got them last Friday. I got the dp's (minus the 1) the week before. Now I'm having to wait yet another month for the missing dp to get here. The whole thing has been a little frustrating 🙄
I had ordered a PBN last year, and the paint was not presh, so I did not do it. I might have to try a kit from Craft-Ease. I enjoy watching you do all the crafts! xoxo 💜
I can not do paint by number. That's why I like diamond painting, because I don't have to keep study hand. My hands shake to much. I wish you lots of luck and hope it really turns out beautiful. I love tigers.

I love doing paint by numbers! My tip is to go to the craft store and buy a paint retarder. You put a couple drops in the paint pot and mix it in. This slows down the drying process so it will keep the paint in the pot fresh longer as well as thin it out slightly in case the paint is a little dry! I also bought ergonomic detail paintbrushes on Amazon. They have a wide space on the brush handle to hold and is more comfortable to hold if you want to paint for an extended amount is time!

It is not oil based, it is acrylic. Have not seen any oil based pbn's.
