It’s a long one 🙃
I thought sharing my story in a nutshell would help others relate and understand some of the dynamic. I do want to share that not ALL higher ups are bad. I’ve had some good ones too. I hope some of this helps ❤️
Hello! My name is Amanda. Thank you so much for checking out this video! I appriciate your support so so much. I hope that in some way I have helped.

Tips I hear is to treat the job like a marathon. I would take it one step fuether, treat it like you are an athlete that trains most days out of the week. You really want to be preventative with treatments thst provide care to your body. Your hand is sore, take some baths soaked in epsom salt. Feeling like your knee hurts, try msm, collagen or other supplement like tumeric that helps with joints and inflammation.
Stretch nightly, roll out your trouble spots, protect your skin from the sun. I know this is kinda all over the place, but really be proactive in protecting yourself.
Do the things that make you the best. Take your breaks and don't rush, ever. Work smarter not harder.
I retired on May 30th after 34 years. That morning dance with the supervisor is something I absolutely do not miss. I really feel for you guys and gals that have to go this B.S. Remember, don't be afraid to get the union involved if you feel your being mistreated. Best of luck.
Who is that union people?
Mandi I hear you loud and clear. My supervisors are on me so hard. I am approaching my 60 days and I am determined not to quit. I already had a "melt down" and I am working as hard as I can. I hear you with the "I am doing my best." Everything you are saying is so true. I am so happy you stayed. This video has inspired me to stay. Thank you. They expect you to fly through the mail route in the name of being "SAFE." I am not going to be pushed out. I started keeping a journal of my route today and writing down my times and anything else.
Hey Mandi,
Just wanted to say thank you for your videos. I’m 7 months in as a CCA and it’s been...🤔 hmm... oh yeah! Hell. Lol! 😂. I watched a few of your videos when I was just starting and they were so inspiring when everything was new and scary. Then I vaguely remember a later one when you were considering quitting I think?? I really don’t want to quit, but when the depression hits from 12+ hour work days, sore everything, supervisors saying you’re too slow when you’ve skipped breaks and given it your all, and worst of all haven’t seen your family and friends in weeks/months, the idea of quitting sits heavy on the brain.😅🤷🏽♀️. So when I saw this one titled “I’m staying” I watched it immediately. And again you inspired me to keep hanging in there!! 🙌🏽 Your video made me laugh and I was nodding my head along to all the dumb work stuff I could relate to. 😜Thank you for the tips and for making me feel a little less alone in this crazy job. My mom and I think you’re just amazing! Oh and btw had to tell you my mom said, “Wow, she’s so pretty! I love her make up!” And then asked me to put on one of your make up tutorials lol. So yeah keep being awesome and keep posting!!! Thanks a million! 😁
Thank you Mandi , you’re amazing love your enthusiasm and encouragement. Everything you mention is so true.
Crazy that I am a month away from being a cca for 2 years and still learning new things everyday. So far what you said is true, just hang in there and becoming regular makes it easier , I hope it will be for me once I convert. Thx for your videos.
The job is very hard, it is said that close to 60% of all CCAs quit within the first one or two months, management should want to kiss the feet of those who want to stay on the job.
Absolutely they should. The turnover rate is outrageous.
Absolutely they should treat you well. The revolving door is crazy.
Exactly but instead they act like your the worst thing they’ve ever had to deal with
@@domoniquepaxson2985 Why do you think they feel this way?
@@domoniquepaxson2985Yeah I went to introduce myself to my post master and she looked at me like get the hell away from me. She then started a conversation like i wasn’t even there. No welcome to the team. Nothing!! 😒
It’ll be a year in July for me. I called in today because I tripped a broke my glasses. I’m just waiting for my manager to call me pissed. To all the new CCA’S, hang in there. Brush off they’re condescending comments and remember we’re there for the money and the money only. If we let the mangers get under our skin we won’t make it. And thank you Mandi. I have had really bad anxiety since starting this job and your advice has really helped. It’s good to know we’re all going through some of the same things.
Can you give me an idea how much union fees every month or per paycheck?
How you doing a year later ptf or regular yet?
@@MrEdiboyzee $29 every two weeks i think
@@CurtisDJunior I decided to leave and return to school. Not everyone’s experience is gonna be the same but what I experienced…….
Thank you for the videos! I've just been hired and I am waiting for my training dates. I am trying to absorb all of the tips and I am very determined to succeed even though I know it's going to be tough at first. I'm a little older than you but I'm trying to prep my body for the physical part of it. Wishing you well from Myrtle Beach, SC.
I love you!!! I am happy you are sticking it out. I am starting the academy next week.
Girl friend you are so POSITIVE! Love your energy.
I’m about to be a CCA in baltimore. Currently at Amazon. I’ve worked at every company. I’ve seen every example you can think of. I know carriers complain about parcel. But let me tell u. Imagine ~270 individual houses per day @ Amazon. At least if I work hard at USPS it will EVENTUALLY pay off. I don’t mind working hard. I’m really excited despite the negativity. Anyways, We continue to get mail everyday. Somebody somewhere likes the job😅
Amazon Sundays were my favorite. It was a nice break from doing letter mail all day. We loaded up and pretended to be a UPS guy all day with amazon stuff haha - no days off for CCAs lol
Excellent tip about casing the coffin flats first on a new route. I wish someone told me that 6 months ago. When I figured it out it was a game changer and gave me a lot more confidence when faced with a new route. I'm an RCA in Las Vegas.
Excellent video! Thank you so much for taking the time to give this valuable information to us 💛
Love your eye makeup btw!
Thank you so much for being so kind! I went to beauty school and I love makeup. This channel started as a beauty channel - then I tried to start a new one to not interfere with these videos. I decided to move the make up videos back to this channel, so I hope everyone doesn't just run away and leave haha :)
First off I wanna say I love love love your make up!! I’ve commented before when I was pregnant through the holidays well I worked up until I had baby girl feb 7th . . . Anyways this was my first week back I got very very lucky and was part of that group that got converted from cca to ptf because I’m in a very small office one full route and 6 ish hr aux route but I just wanted to say I love you and you’re funny and super relatable 😊😊
CCA here! Been at it for about 9 months now. I love what you said in the beginning about silently pushing through minor incidents.
If you’re just a little banged up, but not HURT-just dig deep and keep going. I’ve had to keep blood off the mail, ate absolute shit on a few composite porches, and lightly rolled my ankles more times than I can count. Just be careful and watch out for yourself!
PSA Watch those composite porches. They are not your friend. They’re slick in almost any environment that isn’t a dry, sunny day.
Those are the worst!! Yeah when I had my attendance review- they got onto me for having 3 injuries. I was annoyed. I had two dogs circling me and one jumped up and hit me... how is that my fault? Then the weird back pulling thing that I shouldn’t have even said anything about. My foot- that was a real injury because now I need surgery. Just waiting for the 🦠 to go away. But- I have scraps and bruises all the time. Makes us tough!! 🤣
Mail Mandi Chronicles I can’t tel you how many times I wiped out and badly too, I have scars to prove it because in the beginning I literally used to RUN! Oh boy, everything you’ve said is spot on tho.... especially “I’m doing the best I can!”
Thanks for all the tips☺️... I start orientation on next Monday...can you make a video on that process?
Yay! I'm glad you are staying! I'm waiting on an orientation date. Have offer for RCA and on pre-hire list for CCA. I want the CCA position, so praying I get that offer. Love your advice and hope to drop some weight too.
You’ve got this girl! Hang in there. 🥰
Sorry this video is me rambling, but I hope it helps ❤️🥰🙃 If it seems like I’m talking crazy fast- I sped up the video just a teenser to shave off 7 minutes 🙃I just rewatched this and I seem snappy. I don’t mean to be. Much love!! 😘
Mail Mandi Chronicles love your videos! I just got my 90 days in and you have been like mentor . I’ve watched all of them and they have been soooo helpful ! I like my office and I like my job!
@mandi chronicles can you please contact me ? Lol. Maybe social media site ? Where I can message u ! I’m fixing to start working as a cca
Not so good
I have a question ive applied for a few positions at usps I have a 2 RCA applications one is saying pre-hire list and the other it saying offer phase ext can you explain what these mean?
@Mandi Chronicles can u please message me ? Please !!
Soooo true .. my knees and back use to hurt like hell during Christmas time.. now, they seldomly do 🙌🙌 Losing the extra weight will DEFINITELY help with the aches and pains of the body
Just finished my first week as a CCA, last mon-wed was my ojt and just finished my first 3 days alone doing the aux route and picking up other pivots. Really enjoyed all the tips and info you gave throughout the process of everything!
How you like it?
@ loving it so far! It can be overwhelming at first when you don't know the all the routes but you learn it as you go. Winter is going to be the real test I think, so we'll see how that goes. Just be prepared for a lot of hours depending on your staffing.
@ so far I've lost about 20 pounds because I was on the aux route for the first couple months and it was all walking for all 4-5 hours. Definitely feel some muscle gain from all the packages.
@@jamillathekilla are you still there ?
@@michaelmyersplays4992 I am!
I start orientation Monday 5/4/20. Thank you for comforting me. I use your words as motivation and optimism.
I am not a mailman but my husband is and everything you said is 1000% true. He just become a regular after 3 years. Yes he still has little tiffs with management but I feel like that’s to be expected in every job. He is a lot happier being a regular and being part of the union is the best thing ever. They will go up to bat for you. Love your channel. 💕
Thank you Mail Mandi, I got my acceptance letter March 31st, I get to start training for RCA next Tue the 26th. Looking forward to the new adventure!
Managers and Supervisors can be the worst in any job!
There's a extra truck waiting for you @ UPS. Just in case😉. Oh and those eyes and that magic you do on them just earned you a new subscriber👍🏻
This was amazing info! All of it was new to me. Thank you so much!
girl you look good! Don't let anyone tell you different. We mama's have it tough but you got this
I watch all of your videos! Please update often!
Hanging in there please post more !!! Also, what kind of shoes do you wear?
This was my first week carrying on my own. Out of six days 4 were good and 2 not so good. I do enjoy doing this work. Most of the regular carriers have been good at giving tips. I have not had the same route twice. So everyday I am learning a new route and doing the best I can. I had 3 to 4 hours to start no problem. Then they started to hit me with 5 and 5 1/2 hours in my first week. I am not one to back down from work. So yesterday I was going to be close to finish on time and then my LLV broke down for the second time in a week. Brake failure and water pump leaking. I know it is a tough job. I agree if I take a break or lunch I will be way behind! I hope it works out as you say I am doing the best I can! Thanks for your tips!
Thanks for the video! When is the right time do you ask for a union rep? During orientation?
Thanks for those really useful tips when doing a park and loop route 😁
Thanks for the tips and update. It's encouraging to know you stuck it out with all you've experienced. I am on the prehire list for a city in northern indiana so I am hopeful that I get a job offer and start a new career, albeit late in life (47 years old).
There is a lot of negative feedback on the cca job everywhere I look but honestly it doesn't scare me. Everything that is described I am already dealing with only I am stuck indoors all day, get called and texted all night, the pay is great but not worth it to me.I
You have a great attitude and incredible makeup skills. I really need to update my look and my makeup collection so you have been an inspiration in many ways. All the other makeup you tubers are boring, and they don't have a dancing hockey mask guy!
Thank you for being a mail carrier and a mentor!
😁
I'm also 48, just starting as CCA (driver training next week). Complete career change for me. Are you still there? How has it been for someone our age to start at the bottom and apparently get treated like dirt? :D I'm not sure my 48 year old self will take the same BS that my 28 year old self would have (which probably is the prime age to start a job like this).
@@bruceedwards3033 I am also in the same age group...how is it going for you at USPS. I'm starting the hiring process for a cca and concerned about how welcome USPS is towards older new hires.
Friday is my last day of training and I’m nervous about being on my own! I keep telling myself I can do this and it’s going to be ok.
Omg, i love watching your videos. I was hired for a 'Mail processing Assistant' and orientation is this week. I'm excited but i will definitely keep my head up, im prepared for anything. Do you know much about the mail dept?
So I’ve been working about 30 days as a CCA now and I’ve noticed that my office doesn’t really care (like) for people to work overtime much as new employees. Would you say the “good money” starts happening maybe after the 90 day probation or something? My first two week paycheck just has me kinda worried for financial reasons..
Thank you! Hopefully I'll be starting my orientation soon.
And finally hopefully something useful I can provide for future cca that are trying to make regulars. TAKE YOUR TIME. It doesnt who is rushing you just take your time to learn and endure the process. Because chances are the route you are doing isnt yours to begin with and they will move you around anyways so you will always be somewhat late doing a new route almost everyday. They will always threaten to say stuff like too slow or they will fire you but that is just nonsense because this job really needs people so dont fall for their crap. A tip I can offer is that what I personally do when I know I will be going on a new route is going there early with a piece of paper and writing down where each laps and putting it with your fss. That way you wont have to guess where the laps end. As you are doing a new route try to take a look around for other streets and keep a mental note of where they are so you dont have to google maps as often which saves a lot of time.
Hello! I was wondering how many hours a CCA gets and, how long it took you to get a start date after your fingerprints/background check cleared?
Im currently a ARC and work at USPS on Sunday, but I am going to become a CCA. I start my CCA academy on Monday. Im very excited, but I’ve noticed that when it’s very hot I sweat profusely, which causes me to break out a lot. Do you have any tips on trying to keep your face clear from breakouts while working
Hi @Mail Mandi Chronicles ! Great videos! What brand and model of shoes do you like? Do you wear compression socks? Thank you!
Thank you so much. What shoes do you suggest? My orientation is next week so I must start ordering essential neowww 😂
Could you share you experience with the dog attack? How did it start, what did you do, etc....Thanks much for all your information.
What material do you need to study with? And is there an age cut off?
You give very sound advice, thanks. I'm a new RCA (who's not doing that well) that's not catching on to things as fast, so your commentary helps. I'm learning a 48-hour route, but I only work it once a week which is making it harder for me to learn and get faster.
Are there any walking routes as a RCA
I hope that everything worked out better for you!
Received 3 conditional job offers 2 CCA, and a Clerk assistant. I accepted one of the cca positions. I think it’ll be so fun especially after getting my own route.
I’m an HCCA & want to know what’s the best app for routing 15+/ 30+ packages in order ?
Hi Mandi. I just discovered your channel and I love it. Im in the hiring process for Temporary Carrier Assistant here in Puerto Rico now. They just took my fingerprints 2 days ago. I think they must be in the backgroundcheck process . Im a little anxious thinking about my starting date. Hope everything goes well for me in this journey. Im closely listening to your tips. Theres a lot of negativity online about CCA's and USPS jobs but Im the type of person that prefer to live the experience by myself rather than making judgments. Keep doing a great job and thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Saludos Orlando. I'm from PR too and I just took the 474 assesment and passed. I'm looking for a job in PR but I do not see anything man. I'm gonna wait like two more months. If I do not find any jobs here in PR, I might go to FL.
@@carlosjjvieramorales7220 Man the last time they posted something was 07/13/2020. Those were MHA, CCA and two PSE positions. All for San Juan area. After that I've searched every day and nothing yet.

I got the job offer for MHA. i just did my fingerprinting today. I keep watching usps vids & ppl are saying they hate their job & or going to quit. Jeez, Im scared to go to orientation.
I just got my offer letter form MHA today girl I don’t know coming from a very lax job 90 percent sitting and sleeping to a very labor filled job I’m scared. I’m doubting if I can do this I’m not active at all and I’m not healthy either. I only make 12.50 per hour no raises at all I work with people with mental and physical disabilities. We don’t get raises it’s dead end work. I have a lot of debt I want to get out of. I want to be more financially secure I don’t have any kids not married so I’m not worried about missing out on being with family. I’m just really nervous and I don’t want to sike myself out of this job.

@@MeccaA28 I work in a isl Independent supported living home with three ladies they live in a house just like me and you and I work night shift so I’m watching tv all night I can catch a snooze when I want to check on them throughout my shift get the ready in the morning the. I’m out the door I literally do like 2 hours worth of work and that’s in the morning. I sure hope we can too. Thank You!! That’s good to know 👍😊
Wooooowwww look at you !!! U go girl !!
What about it if it is an aggressive dog? What do you do?
Just started two days ago about to start my five day training with the o.j.i I hope I can get hang of loading the truck
Great video I have a question about the 360 hire day and off 5 days
The advice about only seeing the people in the office for an hour at a time is good advice. Just imagine having to be around some of those people ALL DAY instead of the hour or so we're in the office hahaha.
I would lose my mind to be around them all day. Some of them are just terrible - especially the managers lol
What's your CCA ranking now? You mentioned you were 14th a couple of months ago
I've been following you for a while, you are great! And easy on the eyes!( you are beautiful!) I have a starting date of may 18th, with the post office of being in trouble of being close to running out of money, I'm concerned! How do you feel about the longevity?
Thank you so much!! I hope everything goes smoothly for you!... I’ve been explained the “running out of money” thing by different people in different ways. Although none of us know exactly what will happen. I am confident that we will be secure for long term employment. USPS is written in the constitution- even if it privatizes, we’d still have a job. It would just have different rules. Someone said IF we lost our jobs- we would get a big severance check. Either way I personally am not worried. My dad retired from USPS and he said the whole time he worked there they rumored about going broke.
From what I heard probation is 120 days or 90 working days. In my experience supervisors are always trying to get things on you wherever you go. Management's job is to make sure costs are as low as possible . In regards to response times I can see why they are super big on them. The longer it takes you the more it costs them and the customer is expecting a package. Right now it is 6:20 and I am waiting for a package from FEDEX and the package has been out for 4 days and it is live plants. If they don't get it to me today someone like me is going to go to their seller and tell them it took too long and the seller is going to ask for insurance money from the shipper because it was not shipped on time and the package went bad. Then the shipper lost even more money.
And yes I can attest to some of the things mandi says in the video is that being a cca sucks. They will have you all over the place and you dont get to be on one route to learn it. And managers and supervisors will always try to rush you to get your work done faster. But it was all MUUUCH better as soon as you become a regular and acquire your own route. Although in my case I dont have one route I had to learn 5 different route since that what they had available and this was a station all my coworkers said was really good.
Hi Mandi! Can you tell me if the training is paid?
I’m nervous as hell I didn’t even start academy yet. I’ll have a plan b just in case things don’t go as planned
How was it
Thank you for the positive advise .
What's up Mandi ,I love your videos,I really do. I can tell you are 100% honest about your comments.
I am from boston and I am having my driving test on Sunday , Any advice for me Mandi please
I just wanna make sure I get all the info I can get because I don't wanna come all this and then fail the test so give me something please. Anything from you or other people that did the test especially from Boston would be gladly appreciate.
I do appreciate
Congratulations!
Hey Mandi I love watching your videos. I just received a conditional job offer to be a CCA. At first I was super super excited but after doing research and watching video's on the job I'm not sure if i should take it. What I would like to know is, what kind of benefits to we get? Do we get any medical insurance, because if not it's definitely not worth it for me since I'm a young mother of two and need health insurance.
Ya you can buy insurance I accepted a cca as well think about backing out as well lol
I got offered a temporary cca is that how one starts as a temporary employee what do you think any feedback on this will be very helpfull thanks
Love your videos just received email yesterday for the dmv and background
thank you so much for this for this!!!!!
Do have a benefits for CCA and is fulltime or partime thanks
What benefits you get you start at usps
I like these videos so far the job seems ok i'm an rca in a town that is farther away than I wanted but they said possible career in a year. The job itself seems ok I'm learning to case and the route as I go. The hiring process and training for the post office are really crappy and subpar. My academy got delayed 2 weeks so I've actually been training at my work station this week then do academy next week. But of course academy is a 2 hour one way commute away so fingers crossed. And orientation didn't explain anything either.
I have 3 years on the job , now I’m PTF, I got injured on the job then I was out for one year because of my injury, the offer me light duty job I took the offer now I’m in another station that I don’t even know, I’m still waiting and waiting for my surgery so I can go back to my old station to work full duty , this is crazy I don’t know why they take long to approve the surgery. I miss my old station.
Do you get insurance right away as cca?
I just did shadow training love ur video
Thank you so much for this.
Hi Mandy, I’m just starting, I’m in my academy, and I’m scared shitless that I won’t be able to go fast enough !!
I hope everything went well for you!! !
Mandis thanks for your Videos !
If they don’t let you case until you are close to your 90 days how are we suppose to learn/grow?
i like your video....thank you ......question what do think about RCA...was told 3 days a week.
Thank you. I appreciate your advice. I’m a new hire CCA, just completed orientation. Pray for me please.
Glad you're staying in. Its a good job far as I've seen in my 6 months so far. Hope you guys aren't seeing the huge package volume that people seem to be getting right now. I've developed a sick right arm tan since it got warm. This summer will be awful if the package volume stays up.
Yes thank you for being positive and I have been noticing a lot of people complaining on UA-cam about the CCA position.
Thank you for the kind comment. All I saw at the time were warnings of people to not work at the post office haha. So I wanted to share what I was going through.
Thank you for this! My one supervisor is Aweful!!!! I have been contemplating leaving… the regulars are begging me to stay… lol I do like the job but dang this supervisor may put me back in the county jail…
Lol. Every post office, everywhere. 3 years in. I know
I am a worried that I may of made a bad decision on excepting this job. I start on Tuesday and now it is like every where I look it's negative.
How’d it turn out?
One way I learned the process of parking is park it, brake it, curb it take it (the key) and lock it.
I am going to subscribe simply because you are a mail carrier and also I have some questions. I am also a mail carrier a t6 for cambrian park san jose. But wow you were a cca for a whole year? Where are you at for the conversion rate to be that long? I was lucky enough to be a regular after 2 or 3 months. And if you are still working as a mail carrier I wish the best for you because it sucks.
Love everyone. Easy to say. Not so easy to DO (at least at first). Set some investment goals. Focus on these and have fun in the process. Keep what's important to you at the fore-front of your mind and what's un-important to you won't take up space there.
Hey so im confused because i applied for Rural carrier associate because there were no cca positions available but the openings for rca are in Albuquuerque NM and the post offices hiring arent really rural areas. When they say CCA is that just like strictly downtown areas lol
Abq fire72 rural carriers aren’t necessarily in rural areas.. they do more driving and less walking.
Just think after you’re first year being so rough, it’s only going to get easier!!!
I applied for the cca spot. Did the drug and background now just waiting to hear back from the sf85. Does anyone know how long that takes?
Oh boy... that can be either real quick or take up to 6 months.
My wait was 2 weeks before I got a call. It was the head honco from a nearby city, which I did not live it. Regardless I took it and 1 week later I got a call from the big boss at my local town. Whatever, I stayed with the first caller.
Anyways yeah, just stay on top of it but do apply elsewhere, especially if it takes tooo long.
Are you on the east coast or west coast?
A couple weeks ago the supervisor said to me, “Congratulations “. “For what?”, I said. “You passed your 90 days”. Oh. Ok. Now what? Nothing. Still working every damn Sunday. Don’t know your schedule for any future planning. What’s the difference? Eh, it’s a day by day job. I had one good day out of the week. What is the preoccupation with time? “Hurry up, get back to the office because the outgoing mail guy needs to leave!” So, if it does t go out today, it.l go out tomorrow! No big deal. Havnt we all waiting for a check and it didn’t come and then, you get it the next day. No big deal. And with this Corona virus...wearing mask and gloves all day....brutal. I said I’d do it for a year. As I said, one good day a week so, that means I want to quit 6 out of 7 days. I don’t give in to the “rush” mentality. My feeling is, “if you feel that I’m not being beneficial to the cause, just let me know if you don’t want me to come back tomorrow “. You’ll have to find someone else to replace someone who is off. I still don’t understand the scheduling. Seems they could be way more efficient with it. Just give me two days off a week back to back and rotate it. Why is that so hard? Off on this day, off on that day....no life. I write this at 2:30 on a Sunday morning. Have to be up at 5:30a for Amazon Sunday. And that’s another thing; USPS has a strangle hold on Amazon and UPS because they can’t handle the load and they pay USPS to deliver on Sundays. Charge the shit out of them! What are they gonna do? Either pay up (and why am I not getting time and a half on a Sunday?) or deliver the shit yourself? Everything is run very poorly in my opinion. Still studying.
"Still studying" facts
Facts I’m giving it a year to
Today I took my driving test I don’t feel that I did good on the parallel parking and reverse parking I really struggled. On the actual roads I didn’t go the speed limit and was nervous because I didn’t have my trainer in the vehicle with me due to Covid and it was my first time driving the truck I also hit a cone today during the practice training. What should I do try and get better or just give up now also keep in mind on my own personal vehicle I never reverse park so I feel like that’s the reason why I don’t wanna give up just nervous about driving the truck and be safe and being slow and getting chewed out
MicahDoesIt i did my LLV training yesterday as well. I had a great instructor who really walked me through each process. My best advise for parallel parking would be the 3 step rule. Pull up close (not too close) to the car in front of the parking space you want, mirror to mirror with that car, turn your wheels alllllllll the way (depending on which side your parking) start reversing KEEP the wheels all the way turned until you see BOTH sides of the front bumper behind you once you do BRAKE, straighten out your wheels (should be two full turns) reverse back JUST ENOUGH, BRAKE, turn your wheels ALLLLL the way again (depending on which side your parking) and finish the park. Remember to use your 7 mirror to back up close to the car behind you to give your self room to pull out without reversing. This was really long for such a short process but just wanted to tell you what helped me hope it’s understandable
Shayla Baez like I get it I world get in there but most of the time I was to far from the curb. He told me that he has never had to use parallel parking in the city we live in ever in his 14 years so he said don’t worry about it. Also you know what esle was a struggle when ever you come to a yield you have to curve your wheels to the left so you can see the oncoming traffic that’s difficult as well how were you at that part

Locking your vehicle and curbing your wheels and setting parking break all become second nature after your first week or two. Alot of stuff becomes second nature after your first two weeks.
