I WISH there was a recording of the actual event I would die to see it
I wish there was a recording
John is a GENIUS such a versatile man!
Saw Lithgow in "Sweet Smell of Success" & "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." Loved the latter, but he was good in both.
If he had changed the first two verses two, this would be even better. He clearly has the capacity to do so. I would love to see/hear that
yay we gotta do this song live together!
John Lithgow was phenomenal as Winston Churchill in 'The Crown.'
He was even better as Elon Musk in "the douche"
Trinity killer is way more mellow later in life
All hail the high commander !
He is a wonderful word smith and a treasure.
That was the whole point of G&S Major General - to ridicule the REAL idiots in the British "officers' class" of their era.
Making couplets like this it the best way to honor G&S and carry on the proud tradition :)
You have to do one role over and over and over. 19th century
Hasn’t aged well, but still love lithgow

I am the very model of a modern Climate Scientist
Needs work (-:
This certainly aged poorly.
Maybe now that it has been demonstrated to have been an Obama/Clinton con job Mr Lithgow can write an apology or more appropriate verse. Yeah… I thought not.
Flynn is literally a traitor. He's a convicted felon and a Russian asset. Trump supporters shouldn't have the right to vote, you're too uneducated
Apologize to who?
Too bad the entire third verse was a lie...otherwise...great satire
Too bad you loons are still denying reality for your orange cult leader.
Flynn is literally a traitor, a convicted felon, and a Russian asset. You Trump supporters shouldn't have the right to vote, you're gullible uneducated cave people
Nice try yank.
Yeah!!; We are laughing at the ruin of a career military man for the sake of cheap political points!! Yeah yeah!! We are so funny and cool
Flynn is literally a traitor, both a convicted felon and a Russian asset. I realize Trump fans don't have analytical thought, this must be hard for you. Sad they let you people vote
Former career military man who became an anti-American criminal. You have to laugh at these things in order to cope with them.
