If you use 1 large can of crushed tomatoes, that looks like tomato sauce, you don’t need paste or water = 2 steps that you can delete when using crushed tomato. Also, the starch is used to thicken your sauce, not the tomato paste. All tomato paste is, is tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes with the water boiled out of it until it is a paste. You can make your own tomato paste by leaving your pot on the stove as long as you can, until the tomatoes look like the viscosity of ketchup and when it looks almost right, you can stop a little earlier and add cornstarch/tapioca starch to it and it with use the access juices to thicken.
I definitely have got to make this, as I love their mild sauce. And I like the fact I can reduce some of the salt and a little of the cayenne for us. Pure genius. Thank you so very very much. Is there a list of the amounts for the ingredients? Claudia
Thank you my good sir. I don’t eat fast food but I take my friend’s Taco Bell sauce. Now I can make the sauce and have a lifetime supply of it lol
Made this today. It was fantastic!

Tomato paste is actually made from sun-dried tomatoes where tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes etc. are not. Very different flavor profile.
@vegantreehugger8400 tomato past can be made from sun dried tomatoes but it doesn't have to be and commonly isn't
Ty gonna try this as I like to make homemade more

@@THEBASICDAD2022 Wonderful, thank you so very much for helping this old gal out....
Thank you so much sir!
Cumin needs to be in it !😊
I’d have to add cumin. Seriously- it’s Mexico in a bottle.
Do you need to add vinegar?
I think the vinegar helps but you could prob get away without it
Subbed ✌
The cornstarch is gonna thicken it up, not the tomato paste. The tomato paste is for tomato flavor.
You really should give credit to the original video. The recipe is identical. But you used the same exact phrases in the orginal video.
Thnx bro ill try it tomorrow
