- Lake Erie houses one of the best amusement parks in the world and we are not talking about Cedar Point.
Waldameer is located in Erie, PA and is a successful family amusement park that mixes traditional rides with modern fun. This Explore video takes you throughout the dry side of the park (the water park is called Water World) and you will see every section of this great park.
Remember you can just walk in and enjoy the park without an admission price (like Knoebels), you can buy ride tickets, get a day pass wristband, or go all out and get a season pass. It's all up to you.

My wife and I take our kids to Waldameer once a year at least. It’s such a nice small park. Every inch of the park is landscaped, freshly painted, and clean.

A careful observation of the video tells me that they run their Wipeout ride in both directions, which to me would be a refreshing change from the norm.
I thought they were doing that. There are a few things you will see when we drop the Unplugged video later this summer. We go through the park the opposite way but without commentary.

I was there yesterday it was packed all 3 parking lots were slammed and there was a line to the water park. One of my favorite parks they do everything right. Even when it was packed you don’t wait longer then 15-20 minutes for most rides aside from wacky shack. Ravine Flyer II is worth the price of admission.

I'm a little surprised you didn't give more screentime to their Musik Express; I've heard that they run theirs longer than most venues.

I was there for a half day so I focused more on the walk through and let's Eat. Thanks for the info so when I got back next year I can expand on it more

The park is beautiful, and Camden park is a eye sore compared to any amusement park.
I guess you missed our Explore video on Conneaut Lake Park 😄
Camden us hanging on but I think with some capital they can fix it up. Will it ever be Waldameer? NOPE. But it could get to the level of Land of Make Believe or a Storybook Land. Time will tell.
