Shawn, you deserve way more credit for these vlogs. Editing multiple hour-long vlogs for TWO channels while on VACATION is insanely impressive. I couldn’t do it!
One of the things I like about the channel is, it promotes the smaller parks that people may not have heard about before. I assume this will bring extra revenue for the parks and the surrounding area!!
Its pretty easy when u enjoy what u do and he is good at it and consistent you're right but its a job, all tax deductible. How much credit would u expect? I don't think going to themeparks day in day out is going to earn you a knighthood 😂 im pretty sure he's happy with 350k subscribers
7:31 I love that little joke it is really quite shocking how we are almost half way through the UK theme park season and the sky ride at alton still hasn't operated! Great video like always
Wow, great vlog! It's a small park, but there are lots of cool & unique things about it. The views of Lake Erie; Ravine Flyer II looks like a great woody that's very zippy with lots of air time; the Whacky Shack classic dark ride with such unique elements; the Ravine Flyer III kiddie coaster being positioned entirely over water; the benches lining the queue for the train; lots of trees; very reasonably priced souvenir T-shirts; all the little statues of children playing; the trash cans with the clown head toppers; the random fun house mirrors; the fountains; the misters & thunder sounds on the log flume... Thanks for taking us along!
Can't wait for the Cedar Point vlogs! I hope the smoke from the Canadian wildfires doesn't affect your all's trip too much, and I hope everyone is staying safe out there!
Another brilliant vlog guys 😊 thank you for the pace you are getting these vlogs out, it’s incredible and I hope you are also finding some time to relax during this epic adventure!
Many Thanks for upload. Tonight's entertainment was brilliant, Ravine Flyer looks outstanding, that woody looked like it was moving at some pace. I'm definitely with you guys, i love dark rides, and those rides where trippy. Looking forward to seeing the Montage of you and Charlotte's trip on both channel's Stay Safe and On that note.. GET OUT THERE AND KEEP ON VLOGGING 😊
Such a great little park and a wonderful vlog. Waldameer is the perfect “catch your breath” park before the big boys! I love the little statues and just how traditional it is. It’s been a few years, you make me want to go back!
Thanks again Shawn and Charlotte ... some of my best park memories are from the laid back ones like Waldameer. Cedar Point is amazing but its exhausting. It looks like with the new Boardwalk area opening up ... maybe you can take some rest time and just enjoy the trip and Lake Erie! Keep on riding!
I grew up on Waldameer, going with my summer camp. It is so nice to see people appreciate these small, family-run parks, and I am soooo glad you loved Wacky Shack! Hope you enjoyed my home park of Cedar Point, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!
Another great one looked a lovely place the lake looked beautiful loved the dark rides fab as always guys see you on the next one keeping an eye on the adventure ones also love how people recognise you xx
I love!!! Love seeing the subscriber count go up on these trips!!! I live In the Philly suburbs and wish I could have seen you at your first 3 parks. All within about 1.5 to 2.5 hours away!!! Great time to come before school lets out for summer recess!
Them sky lifts are like the ones they had back in Frontierland Morecambe, but one had the sherrif dog on you could sit with. Everyone waited for that one xxx
Always been a fan of Walley World. My summer camp took us here when I was a kid. We used to climb up the oil drums in Purates Cove and scare each other 😂
I have been visiting this park since I was a child. I absolutely loved your video you really showed what makes waldameer amazing. I love how much fun you had there!
I cannot believe how much the park has grown. I lived in erie and moved away right before the ravine coaster was built. I remember how fascinating it was to have a "rollercoaster that went over the road."
Splendid park with great selection of rides plus Waterpark next door plus big body of water for other fun times. I can see this is going to be hard to pick a number one favourite at the end of the journey, thinking top 5 might be the way to go. And you found Kermits long lost cousin !!? Thanks for showing.
I absolutely love Waldameer. It's a solid example of what a true American amusement park is. Plus Ravine Flyer II. Hell I have that above El Toro and Lightning Rod right now in my rankings.
Ravine Flyer II a superb hybrid coaster a real whipper snapper. What a beautiful little family theme park. The log flume looked good fun along with the little woody coaster. Looking forward to Cedar Point guys.
Excellent video Shawn and Charlotte from Waldameer Park in Pennsylvania, the 5th park of our 2023 USA Road Trip! In this vlog, we explore this awesome amusement park for the first time, along with sharing on ride povs from all of the major rides. This includes the fantastic Ravine Flyer II, a spectacular hybrid coaster with awesome views of Lake Erie. Along with that, we ride the other 4 roller coasters along with experiencing a variety of other rides and capturing the awesome atmosphere! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte, I can't write to see the next video on the channel. 😀👍👍
Glad you had a great time at my home park. Born and raised in Erie, so I've been here many times. Ravine Flyer II is definitely one of the best wooden roller coasters out there, with the view and speed. Cannot wait to see the Cedar Point vlog.
It was a pleasure meeting you and thanks for stopping by my home park! Ravine Flyer II has been running like a dream. Best of luck for the rest of the trip!!
finally went there today after seeing your vlog! Cracked a rib on raveen flyer 2 first ride of the day. sat in the back seat and slammed down hard on something first drop. was a great time though , kids had a blast! thank you for your vlog.
I live so close to Waldameer yet I haven't been there since 2010. Seeing you 2 enjoy it so much made me really want to spend a day there again. So glad you guys came here and enjoyed the park so much. I forget how nice of a park it really is. Glad you 2 enjoyed it!!!
Since I'm a erie native. Waldameer had been my home park for over 30 years. Such a great family owned park and I was there in 2008 when ravine flyer 2 was built
Great video Shawn. Lovely to see all of the extra seating areas with shade and most importantly the larger picnicking areas for the school trips. We used to have a great picnicking area at Chessington but unfortunately no more.
This is my idea of a perfect park with a mix of traditional flat rides and coasters. Free entry rather than paying a small fortune to get in and then queuing for 3 hours for one ride. Much prefer these family parks.
Lake Erie is one of the smaller of the great lakes. 3 more that are even bigger . I live on Huron the middle sized one. They are so blue :) Great location for the park :) I am excited to see your Cedar Point vlogs next !
Such a beautiful park! Your trip has made me very homesick for my home state of Pennsylvania. I live in the South where it's very hot 🥵 We call the covered areas "picnic pavillions". You have such a great job! 😀
Wow! What a wonderful day at a beautiful park. I really appreciate your vast knowledge of the rides and giving us some of the background of the rides. It’s so interesting so see when the ride was built and how each has evolved. I’m enjoying your journey immensely - thank you!
Steel Dragon is the SC2000 model, it is the same as what was Whirlwind at Camelot (now Sky Spin at Skyline Park in Germany). It is also the same as Crush’s Coaster Walt Disney Studios, just without the extended first section and without the show building. Laff Trakk which you rode at Hersheypark is also exactly the same.
The comet was my first ever roller coaster, and nowadays I'm not scared to go on big rides like kingda ka (which i did in 2023). This park is very nostalgic for me, and I definitely want to go back to experience ravine flyer 2 because I didn't go on it when I last went.
Some great POV's. Maybe I should save for an Apple Vision Pro and watch Theme Park Worldwide on that lol...And maybe you could too and record 3D POV's!
Hey shawn, ever since meeting you in busch gardens tampa and randomly staying in the same hotel i have been even more of a fan of these vlogs, I apologize for being a bit behind on them but you know how it can be with life. I wanted to share my experience with waldameer as well. To start it was pouring rain yet everything was open, even more interesting was that there was lightning visible as we climbed ravine flyer 2 lol. If you think the ride ran crazy in dry weather you should have experianced it that day. In my entire coaster enthusiast life I have never had a rain ride quite like that one, the ride was flying through the course. Sadly comet was closed but overall the park was fantastic, seeing you enjoy this park nearly exactly two years after me was heartwarming and awesome. I missed the dark ride because of the fact that my group left early due to being soaked and cold and genuinely afraid of getting sick from it, but after seeing your footage I without a doubt am returning ASAP. I never used to be into dark rides until your enthusiasm for them rubbed off on me as has your british terms. I call lines queues now and im an american, darn it shawn, jkjk i love it and just know your community loves you and charlotte both. I hope our paths cross again someday, cheers as they say in england William aka kitsos from coasterland :)
Nice vlog Shawn & Charlotte, really enjoyed and look forward to the next. Got a good selection of attractions here including a big interesting coaster especially when it crosses road twice. Looks epic, a coaster I would ride 100%. Really enjoyed & yeah look forward to next vlog to come. Cheers again. 😀👍
@16:53 I love that dark ride! Not really scary, more kid friendly but really creative and artistically done. This amusement park is fantastic, love the great vibes.
Shawn, you deserve way more credit for these vlogs. Editing multiple hour-long vlogs for TWO channels while on VACATION is insanely impressive. I couldn’t do it!
He's actually working 👍
@@vegasr8iders43 Technically yes but he’s still enjoying the theme parks!!
One of the things I like about the channel is, it promotes the smaller parks that people may not have heard about before. I assume this will bring extra revenue for the parks and the surrounding area!!

Thanks as always guys :) Thats my next hour occupied

Theme park world wide is quite simply the one stop shop for our theme park needs .
Absolutely loving this content 😊
Waldameer is a great little family park. The airtime on the bridge that crosses over the road is on Ravine Flyer II is incredible. Loving the videos.
It’s such a well designed ride!
7:31 I love that little joke it is really quite shocking how we are almost half way through the UK theme park season and the sky ride at alton still hasn't operated! Great video like always

We’ve had no issues during the trip so far which we’re pleased about!
Another brilliant vlog guys 😊 thank you for the pace you are getting these vlogs out, it’s incredible and I hope you are also finding some time to relax during this epic adventure!
Thank you so much!
We hit Waldemeer every chance we get when driving to NY. So many unique rides and the park has such charm.
8:11 “don’t think he has a clue” 😂 Shawn 🤣
Many Thanks for upload.

This is my local amusement park and I’m so glad other people can love it as much as I can. Ravine Flyer 2 is a big favorite for a lot.
