I have pretty decent bindings except for airroll left on square
I play on a fidget cube. Steering with disc wheel. Air roll with the ball. QC Boosting with the switch. Powerslide with the hole. QC with buttons. I use the 3 gears on the back as a gearshift and the ball below for camera pan. The 3rd gear allows me to stall consistenly just by turning it.

I use nondirectional air roll for air dribbling in my shots :) Moreover, I use bindings: (kbm)
X - Air Roll Right
Z - Air Roll Left
Shift - Free Roll
I don't recommend then however it is possible to be a good freestyler using your own bindings that are convenient for you.

I have air roll left on LB, power slide and air roll on RB, X air roll right- but play claw so I boost with pointer finger and jump with my thumb
I have air roll left and right on l2 and r2 and to avoid coordination issues I moved reverse and accelerate to l1 and r1.
same i play claw but my hands small so i gotta adjust

Great video. Are you using your thumb to press X, Square, Triangle, and Circle by itself? I use r1 for boost with my index cause I always thought it would be a cordination issue to use thumb for jump and boost at the same time, unless you play claw.
with the second binding/ 2 air rolls if ima wave dash ill use r2 my free roll and l1 my left air roll at the same time i can use drift and free roll but its still hard

I use the boost bumper but instead of having air roll left on square i have air roll right and the opposite, but it is very awkward
i'm using 3# now but i'm wondering between replacing air roll with air roll left, i don't know if air roll left on l1 or regular air roll on it will be better? (powerslide l1) (boost r1)
hi maktuf thanks for the helpful tips i need help in a problem i have i use ds4 windows for my square deadzone and for some reson when i boost in the game sometimes it press by it self or it holds for no reason and i tested the controller(ps4 controller) and its have no problems i tried playing without the ds4 and i still have the problem if anyone can help i would be rlly thankfull

What should i do i have had these binds for year and idk what to do i have my drift and free airroll on square and left airroll on my Left bumper i like these binds but iys very hard to wavedahs and chaindahs

how do you hold your controller in your hand? Do you use middle finger for L2 and R2 or do you use index finger for R1, L1, R2 and L2?

Index L2
Middle L1
Right side
Index for both R1 and R2 (it forces me to not drive while in the air)

Fat thumb. Dont really recomend claw unless its impossible for u to fat thumb boost and jump
i put my "look behind" bind on my left joystick
a little late but i use X as my camera switch is it that bad?
I would say it is if you cant reach it while boosting because you should be able to boost while pressing every other botton. Otherwise it should be fine. If there are no other options u can probably make it work dont worry

Hey.I never used fat fingering.But i wanna use those settings.Ive tried and its so uncomfortable.Icant jumo and boost at the same time.Is that suppose to be?
You should be able to boost and jump at the same time
If its just not humanly possible because maybe you have tinier fingers then definetly try other bindings out, even if it takes a few weeks to get completely used to them.
Most of the harder muscle memory is on the stick, so dont be afraid to change bindings, you will soon enough regain all botton muscle memory. Its way less complex than stick muscle memory.

Wouldn't it make sense to put drift and free air roll on L3?
It makes sense till u realize you have to at all times push your stick. Literally almost always u are drifting or airrolling. Trust me u dont want that in the long run hahah

I use left air role on the stick for about 2k hours and my finger is always numb lol
I would tell u to switch hahah
Its hard but worth it. Also because that way u dont destroy the stick so quickly

My main air roll is left and i do stalls with left not right, it made the heli setup more hard to me mustys between the helis or jakzes, idk should i change
I’ve been having the same issue. I can do 360 maktufs into helis etc. But I learnt the jakze resets with the same air roll which ended up spinning the wrong way.
