I love this video so fucking much. I’m getting ready to start my first big hard climbing project this fall, and this is absolutely the energy I need. Thank you. : )
I love these kind of videos Anna! It’s so nice to follow your progress during a project. It’s fun to watch :) besides, it’s helpful to see that even seriously good climbers can be both happy and frustrated or goofing around while later on being really focused. I’ve only been climbing for half a year but I can really relate to ‘all the feelings’ lol (probably sport/challenge-related rather than just climbing). Sometimes I feel a little embarrassed after jumping around and being childishly happy with a send (or very angry with myself for failing). Expressing it actually helps to release the tension and move through it but I feel like I’m one of a few who does that so. Seeing your videos and your attitude motivates me and gives validation to keep doing it this way. Thank you for that! Keep on doing your thing :)
Ahh thank you so much!! Definitely one of my goals with my UA-cam videos is to try my best to accurately represent (in a funny way) what climbing actually is to me. I think more genuine, personalized depictions of climbing can make people feel more comfortable and included in the community. So hell yes, thank you for this comment
Thanks for the video Anna! Other how-to videos on projecting focus on the tactical steps but few rarely capture the emotional journey of self-doubt, reassessment and perseverance the way you do. Inspiring!
This was legitimately one of the best climbing videos I've watched! Found you from your Hannah Morris collab and been binging your content, so inspiring. Keep it up!
Beautifully shot and edited! I started school again this year and haven't been able to climb for the past few months. I'll live vicariously through you until then
Ahhh thanks Trevor!! You’ll be back at it in no time I’m sure, but hell yeah I’m glad my vids give some semblance of the climbing experience while you’re studying haha
I love your breakdown (both the tips and the momentary frustrations) that comes with working a project. Hilarious, and the music was so calming ☺
Surprise send!!! Love it! Very fun way to teach these steps. Thank you!
Sick edit on this one!! Really cool film 🙌
Thanks Ez!!

That was awesome!! Congrats on the send and thank you for sharing your process.
Thank you!!
I love to watch you enjoy your sport and how you are real about the difficulty. I am not a climber but as a cyclist I can relate. 😁
Good lessons, not just in climbing but in life which is what I needed right now! :D
I can't believe you only have 15K subs!
It's really great content, really well produced!
More will surely come :)
Ahaha thank you! Little by little it’s growing 😅
@@AnnaHazelnutt If you climb it, shoot it, edit it, upload it - they will come :)

Wait is it me or you uploaded this video a couple of days ago? 🧐 Anyway fun video and congrats on the send!
Haha whoooops. I had to re-upload it!
@@AnnaHazelnutt No passa res! Your story telling / voiceover videos are so absorbing that a rewatch is almost obligatory hahah
Also, Stefano Ghisolfi's 'Low point' approach seems a great way of working a route past a sticking point.
