I Beat Terraria Using only Trash Weapons... In the second half of our 'Terraria but I can only use terrible tier weapons' playthrough. We venture into Hardmode... but with a bit of a twist. As due to popular demand from part 1, I will be using an alternative tier list which will increase the challenge going forward! Back years ago, that harp was my ultimate weapon. It was a light source, you could play music with it, it could bounce, the speed at which it travels is based on how close your mouse is when you use it... it was my MVP until better (and sometimes easier) weapons became available to outshine it.
As a player who always uses the harp and poison staff when doing a mage run, this video came as a major shock to me.

fr back in the 1.2 days that weapon was so much better than a lot of the more common/easier to obtain weapons especially in the good old classic mode
Why is candy corn rifle here it’s so incredibly BASED unlike the rest
The cand corn rifle and jack ‘o lantern launcher are both amazing for pillars idk why they’re rated that bad
Cause nobody wants to farm for them so people just assume they suck
@@Weirdo_Studios775i think it's less of that, it's more just that the stake launcher is generally gonna be more powerful, cheaper, and also a lot easier to obtain
it fills the niche of "cheap ranger weapon for general use" much better than the candy corn rifle

The reason the candy corn does so little damage is because you're actually feeding it to the enemys, and the damage they take is because of how bad it tastes.

This series really shows how much easier classic mode is. I genuinely used the magic harp for plantera and won with relative ease
It hurts my soul seeing the Harp being used in this challenge, i remember it being one of the best weapons in my opinion 😂

i find it hilarious that aside from sentries there was only one “trash” summoner weapon from what i can tell.
I’m sad the KO cannon is referred to as trash, I discovered it in my playthrough and it was one of my favorite weapons
the candy corn rifle is awesome if you are able to hit all your shots
Great video! Always like seeing people give overlooked weapons a chance. Speaking of, have you tried out the obsidian swordfish yet? It's pretty easy to get at the start of hardmode and deals pretty good damage, though its range is kinda short for a spear.

I don’t know what kind of a mage guide I followed but I think it recommended the poison staff and harp (could’ve just me finding em’ though)
He recommended the poison staff for the venom staff and the harp is one of the best destroyer weapons

kinda funny how in this challenge, instead of becoming as powerful as a demi-god, you're using a weapon that's just something that somewhat usable for your current point in the game

Day ??? Until a yt video or short for the spectre armor set bonus healing station.
If you set up a vertical area with slime statues or any statue that spawns enemies with a 1/4 timer vertically and summon a nimbus rod above the statues you will gain health. You can summon two nimbus clouds and one crimson cloud. The health gained is 1-20 randomly but the range of the healing is great. This was really helpful for my mage only playthrough. (:
