- Beating Terraria with bad weapons only. Terraria but I can only use terrible tier weapons through the game! In this Terraria 1.4.4 playthrough challenge video, I'm limited to only using 'bad weapons throughout! As defining what a 'bad' weapon is is pretty subjective, I will be using the averaged out tier list from tiermakers website. This should give us a pretty interesting pool of weapons to use! Enjoy!

this is the perfect example for why you dont let everyone make a tier list and value them all the same. like what there constitutes bad? tome of infinite wisdom, leaf blower, nail gun, ORANGE ZAPPINATOR, undertaker, venus magnum, toxicarp and arguably a few more are supposed to be bad? those weapons are supposed to be one on the same tier as the slap hand and god damn BONES?
I believe this wasn’t orange zapinator,but the old one that got removed(there is no 1.4 weapons on the list)

haha yeah I hear ya. Will be sure to mix up the tier list for part 2! My plan was to get the most 'avg' result possible to keep it fair, but as you say, there are some seriously weird takes when you value em all the same lol

the poor molotov cocktail only dealing 65% damage to the EoW... devs saw how quickly we killed their worm bosses and put us in timeout (nerfing super op weapons so we actually have to fight the bosses)

Wow, I use to play Terraria all the time when I was younger(it came out around the time a was born, give or take a few years) but I stopped playing durning the time it had a big update, since I played it on my phone it lagged to much, I'm thinking on getting back into the game but I don't know if I'll like it since my game taste is more like COD, WOW, and Minecraft
Its is surely better now, Alot of bosses, Weapons, Ores, Events, Building furnitures and even more! Not even to say that the new update is coming and will bring new events, Weapons and more, For me Terraria is the best sandbox, Works so hard.

I love how Handgun isnt even a bad weapon and its only in D because its stage of progression means you can upgrade it almost immediately, making it pretty much obsolete.

Here’s to hoping you also used bad summons, a cannon, and a sentry. I expect to be let down but an artillery-obsessed man can dream
To this day the cannon remains my favorite destroyer cheese. Some bubble blocks, a chair, and some honey, and you can just aim the cannon straight up and heal through the probes damage. It's hilarious to just sit in a chair, firing a cannon blindly at the sky while you're knee deep in honey, and somehow kill a boss like that.

Great video! Although I feel like with the flashback sock moments, the reverb was a bit much. The muffle/decrease in mic quality is fine on its own to communicate the idea of a different sock, the reverb made it feel like you were speaking from the afterlife haha

I'm surprised you didn't use the sandgun + evil sand for the WoF, with its infinite piercing, good damage, and arena destruction only coming into play after the fight is over

Nail gun and stake launcher in d tier is ridiculous.
Handgun really shouldn’t be in d tier, as it functions exactly as it should. All the weapons in the dungeon are meant to be stepping stones to underworld chest loot. Some examples may be Muramasa to volcano (and night’s edge), magic missile to flame lash, and similarly handgun to phoenix blaster. People don’t think about the point in time where you actually are supposed to use the gun, but only what is next in progression. Think about it. If everybody tried to use muramasa or magic missile against WoF, they would be in D tier too. And for its point in progression, handgun does a dang good job.
Considering the weapons in D tier, this playthrough's probably gonna be pathetically easy

They are just substitutes that doesn't get lucky enough to be used instead of the other things
the lack of flameburst sentry is disappointing
i know i sound like a broken record (but tbh who doesnt these days) but u should take a look at the frost staff, weird weapon thats basically a hardmode gem staff
That tierlist has some REALLY weird choices. Like seriously why are Venus Magnum and Heat Ray in D-Tier? They are very solid options for their class around the time you can get them, and they are not hard to come by either. Venus Magnum especially is just an upgraded Megashark
