Debatable. Some say the subaru victory were only due to lack of serious oponent. As soon as Citroën got in seriously subaru didn t win anymore. The same way Ferrari win everything post war, until car manufacturer recover from war damage and got back in race.
I picked up a decently hard to find 08 STi hatch to be my daily. IM gonna drive it till it cant drive anymore, and then fix it. I refuse to garage queen it.

I see according to the stats more young folks across many countries are not into cars or even want a drivers license. Plus I only found out about rally through people talking about it on YT. Never hear anyone ever talk much about. But that's a more personal experience.

Watched couple of edits like this with many manufactures, buut in edits with Subaru rally shots were like 90% of video, and then i realised that Subaru is actually nothing but rally history. No F1 like Honda and (yes, i know that Subaru made engines but it wasn't factory team), no drift history like Toyota, none big racing success like Nissan... just rally history, like Mitsubishi. That's sad for me, and what's making me more sad? That when LanEvo production was stopped, Subaru wasn't competing with anyone by then, and now we have nothing - no more Focus RS, no more Lancer Evolution, no more Impreza STI. Just pure abyss and sadness. That's the "glory" of XXI century automotive industry...
It's not that bad, toyota is coming with gr yaris or corolla. Ford tested this year the new puma rally1 and it is pretty good. I think is just a change in generation. Just like when the Lancia Italians and the audi Germans stopped the rivalry in group B

Ez, it's not a problem to bring new Subaru cars to amateur WRC after some modifications. Durable vacuum pump under the chasis for better grip, bdlc engines inside rims and upgraded with titanium parts combustion engine. It's their problem, that they do not want to race in WRC anymore, not ours. DIY guys always will find a way.
Watching this as I ponder selling my WRX, the time has come. But rally vids like this are what made me want this thing soo much, when I'm older and have more money and my own house, I'll buy another WRX GD Chassis.
