Championship weight is 170.4 so yea gsp was overweight and any other fighter would've been punished for it look at charles who got stripped of the belt because the scale was calibrated wrong by half a pound, gsp was able to rehydrate more effectively quicker than nick could because gsp didn't have to fully drain himself and actually make the weight and it's funny your comparing the weight to someone's wallet when fighters have said time and time again that last pound to make championship weight Is the hardest extra pound they've ever done. the commissions also hated nate lol they gave him a 5 year suspension and a 200k dollar fine for smoking weed
