You are so lucky to have such a caring and thoughtful family. I am dealing with mild ptsd due to a medical trauma and I am starting to get better. Over the past 9 month of being basically housebound, my love for plants has connected me with some amazing people who I now call good friends. I doubt I would have found them if I hadn't had a medical trauma. Sometimes things that are pretty bad and painful, can create good things as a result.
Yes, I agree, plants definitely were my savior, and I made amazing plant friends and doing my channel has be a great outlet for me and I love giving advice to others
I adore your greenhouse so sweet and generous for your family to build it for you. If it were mine I would likely spend most of my time in there either reading or doing plant care. Stunning!!
Thank you for showing us your plant room- mental health can be hard to deal with for sure and plants are a clue to how you are feeling. Plants for me are the thing that help keep me out of a deep depression, they need me, and that’s what keeps me going most day I may never understand, but I care and I’m here to help- keep marking the videos, problems shared are problems cut in 1/2 💚😎💚
Thanks Miles, I appreciate your support, yes UA-cam and plants have been a great way for me to deal with my.PTSD, keeps me busy and out of trouble. Yes, I love the Dubia also. 💚💚💚💚
I went through a similar down phase this year. I have a 12 x 8ft greenhouse which usually is filled with around 100 plants in the Summer. This year I moved out maybe 12 before I gave up. I also have 2 grow tents and about 250 plants in my basement plant rooms. Every time I went down there I could see how neglected everything was and would just come back upstairs. I Finally locked myself down there forced myself to do the work. It took about 6 hours to do everything and I'll be honest, not every plant made the cut! I'm really trying to only keep plants that make me happy. 🌻
Same, it's hard when you know the plants are suffering but you just can't bring yourself to do anything. Sending hugs, let's home for brighter days ahead 💚💚💚
Love your videos! I look forward to your stories and sharing your tips and plant collection. I wish I lived closer so I could come hang out with you and help u with plant chores and chit chat. Love hearing you talk
I'm sorry to hear of ur "bumps, hills and valleys"! Many of us r coping with one thing or another which can be overwhelming... Because of COVID 2020 I'm not working. So I started focusing on plants again, mainly hoyas. Having an outlet makes a huge difference to our survival plus supportive family, friends, faith and calm. Be well! Your plants have a good mommy! 💚 Dee, LI, New York
Granya such a beautiful labor of love 💗 such a beautiful cozy space 🙌💚 it’s nice to see your boobie cacti thriving 🌵 4 or 5 plants now from the 1 🙌💚🪴 … I’m sorry you had such a traumatic experience, I pray you continue to find strength and peace 🙏🏼
Hey if you are ever driving out Stayner way I'd take some plants off your hands 💚🌱 😉 I'd love to belong to a local plant group but I've only got UA-cam now as I too have become terribly introverted due to medical reasons so I totally get it. 💚 My indoor plants got so neglected over the summer as it took everything in this old body to keep the outside gardens maintained. 4wks ago I focused on the inside and feels so much better to see new growth in the Rudsta Cabinet again. Thanks for sharing💚 I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving with your newest family members.
@@jungleflowerscanada5384 Just yesterday our 24yr old Son living in TO informed us he tested + 4 days ago. It was bound to happen. Seems he is over the worst now I just hope no lingering affects for him or for you long term. Btw your fungus gnat video tremendously helped me out this winter and I thank you so much. 😁 Roxanne
Yes, there is definitely some truth in this but this is more about me not having the will to take care of the plants not the ability. However, I am seriously thinking about downsizing my non Hoyas. 💚

That is so lovely Vanessa, I'm sure we would get on great 💚💚💚
Life gets in the way sometimes but what a cozy spot to relax in. You must feel renewed now that you have taken care of things in there!
Thanks Steph, yes I do, it's so gratifying 💚💚💚

For sure, if I'm ever out that way I'll keep you in mind. We all need a little reset I think and of course Covid didn't help

When you rinse the substrates how long does it take to dry out in the bins? Mine is still wet after 2 weeks.
I they' do take a long time, try turning it every day to dry the top out💚
@@jungleflowerscanada5384 I planted my first pon only water propagation today. I’m so excited to see how it does. 🤞

I honestly don't mean to be rude....but, this made me feel awful. Maybe we all should truly reflect about owning more than we can properly care for.
