Rare known fact: when Tony beat Georgie - that wasnt even in the script, cameras just happened to be rolling when James went apeshit on te guy after another ruined take. The beating was so sincere it was added as canon. (this is a joke of course)
Gosh what a thrill it must of been to work with James Gandolfini… he was consumed by the process of transforming into Tony Soprano and his performance showed that. He will forever be my all time favorite actor, I so wish he was still here, love(d) him 😔
0:35 Gandolfini comes in from the side and starts hitting the actor in the head with the phone aka Tony yelling: "What are you doing?!?! You're supposed to be tending the bar!!!"
Anyone who goes out the way to say something like that in a youtube comment section will definitely not be handing someone's ass to them, you would be getting your ass handed to you, and you'd still have a dent in your car lol.
I could've done those tats in 1,5-3 minutes tops with a sharpie. Would've accepted salary of just one of those "mAkE Up aRtiSt's" and hang out on set with that great cast of the time.
average tv consumer who thinks they're just as capable as professionals, there's a reason it takes 5 hours to do makeup for tattoos and that's because they need to look like tattoos that somebody has had on their body for a while, not sharpie lmfao. and I'm willing to bet you don't have that knowledge
Love the show, love Gandolfini, but come on, actors acting like that to hype themselves up is silly and unnecessary. You're already getting paid, stop trying to justify your job lol.
That's how acting works? You don't just flip a switch and become a different person. Heath Ledger locked himself a hotel room to figure out the Joker character. Gandolfini was famously a pretty chill dude. Georgie's telling a story about how he ruined his tattoos because he snuck up behind him and gave him a bear hug. He's supposed to be pissed and breathing heavy during a scene, how's he gonna do that without getting hyped. And you're right, they're getting paid, but they aren't gonna get paid again if they don't show they got the acting chops to do a good job.
I really get your point. But I mean, if it worked well for him - fuck it, who cares. Considering he was able to deliver so good - no point in trying to fix something that wasnt broken, it's not Jared Leto level of "method" bullshit anyway.
That's why you gotta live for today
what'd you say?
@blobcity3591 that's why you gotta live for today 🤏💵
CONSHERVE
I can’t even think about it
The tattoos.... dilutes the skin.
Even with hands like bear paws Tony definitely didn’t have makings of a varsity athlete.
Bear paws. That was his problem.
the most unrealistic line ever is the commentary on Tony’s father always saying Tony had small hands…
Lol. Junior is hilarious
😂😂
Lol the reason Georgie got written off the show
The director wouldn’t even let T visit Georgie in the hospital.
It’s a shame they wouldn’t let Sopranos actors do interviews and documentaries like this are still underground releases

Same with when he killed Michael Imperioli for crashing the car, that wasn't in the script.
@@JasonX2 he literally fucking killed a man for his role. What a great actor 10/10
Not to mention the beating he put on Peter Riegert because he wasn't a fan of Animal House
You ruined it by saying it was a joke
Ricky gervais joke about keifer

*He was a goddamn hothouse flower, that was his problem*
This dude looks like he can operate a phone set..idk
So Tony Soprano hated Georgie in and outside the show.
The ice was the last straw.
sounds like he liked him
@user-kp6ku3vz6u they liked each other. I just think that even off set, bro has some bad omens😂
No, he's just getting into character
He wasted all that ice.
0:35 Gandolfini comes in from the side and starts hitting the actor in the head with the phone aka Tony yelling: "What are you doing?!?! You're supposed to be tending the bar!!!"
RIP James Gandolfini
He got in character by doing some blow.
really?
@@Bolt892 sure, fuckin' Miami. it's all over the place.
He got it from the deli in Nutley
@@Bolt892he did loads, one of the reasons his heart gave out
He's a methhead actor not method
So Georgie is Georgie in real life
When ever I do an ounce of blow for breakfast I chirp like a chicken too.
Hahahaha
Thanks Tone
This is awesome!!!
Doesn't surprise me Tony beat the shit out of this guy
Small bear paw hands
Now we know why tony soprano kick georgie's a$$ every scene
1:41 midi drums lol
Can we get Mario Bosco on set!
So much cocaine.
fuckin Miami, it's all over the place
I’ve always wanted to meet James Gandolfini, but I can’t. Rest in peace, brother.
He was a big guy
For you
Whats left out about his behavior was that he was taking a lot of cocaine
I challenge anyone to find a fellow actor or crew member of The Sopranos to say something negative about James Gandolfini.
David Chase was on the outs with him a number of times. But, of course, that's showbiz. It's the work that matters.
But you gotta get ovah it
5 hours. Lol okay Georgie
Nice video. I do different Sopranos characters.
I could always tell that Georgie’s tattoos were fake.😊
CONSERVE!
😎😎😎😎👌👌👌👌
😎😎😎😎👌👌👌👌👌
I pay your fuckin salary

So that was the scene?
That’s not cool that’s a fool.
Bro was a snitch
5 hours to do those tattoos?! I always hated those on him. They look so fake! He would've been better off with stickers. 😂
He had to be on drugs.
Actors are weird
G roomers for the most part.
Good guy or not, someone punches my car and puts a dent in it is getting their ass handed to them.
okay tough guy
Anyone who goes out the way to say something like that in a youtube comment section will definitely not be handing someone's ass to them, you would be getting your ass handed to you, and you'd still have a dent in your car lol.
Good luck rofl
Oh yeah I'm sure you'd whoop James Gandalfini's ass 😂
Sit down.
bro literally thinks he’s in an edit
why is that tattooo guy talking wtf
He’s literally talking about the guy who plays Tony. But I get it, comprehension is hard :/

Stop thinking you are better than you really are then you might finally get good at something
I bet you also think you could pilot a 747 just because you spent a dozen hours playing flappy bird back in the day
Why even bother doing them if they take 5 hours, what did they add? Really?
They don't hire make up artists just because they can draw well with a sharpie. Be humble and stop devaluing peoples skills/qualifications.
Have a friend named Silvio M could be Jim brother long shoreman in San Fran military police 8n us army Korea 🤘🤘🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
how do those tattoos take 5 hours? They look so fake anyways.
Love the show, love Gandolfini, but come on, actors acting like that to hype themselves up is silly and unnecessary. You're already getting paid, stop trying to justify your job lol.
you just mad they get to fuck around and get paid millions to do so. Still some of the best acting ever and you’re complaining. fuck outta here
@@creamsmoda you blow your father with that mouth?

I agree ! Acting is cringe af lol
If I was playing Georgie I think I would have just got the tats done
