AGREE! 💯 It’s cool that we as the audience feel that way about a show and cast, then hearing how they were all like a family on set. That there was no jealousy or animosity, makes it even better. When Dominic starts breaking down had me 😭 I was already a little teary listening to them reminisce about him, so it didn’t take much for me to get that emotional. I’m also a softy when I see a man cry. Also, Robert telling the story on how he respected them on set as serious actors but checked up on them, not wanting them to know he did it, like they were his real kids. 🥰 ‘The Drop’ has been on FLIX and other channels a lot lately and I absolutely LOVE that movie because of Tom Hardy and James. But knowing it was his last performance makes it bittersweet.

That’s great that Dominic watches the show. That line he cried at where Tony says “Don’t you love me?” and Junior’s reaction and the whole scene was just so emotional and perfect. Great show, so many great writers, actors, cameramen came together at the right time to make this masterpiece.

Tony's parents were abusive and cold but Corrado was a loving uncle. And yet even his loving uncle was a critical presence in his life (especially of his athletic prowess!) and ended up in a mob war with him. What a family. A complex relationship and an incredibly moving scene, with that sad empty music at the end. Dominic crying about it again years later was heartwarming. Or perhaps heart wrenching. "More sweet than bitter" as he said.

Absolutely dude. Plus Tony Sirico was an actual associate to one of the NY five families in the 50’s / 60’s. He also served some time in jail for some his exploits. So no doubt he is playing a (perhaps younger) version of himself.
