- Tensions between the U.S. and China are escalating after a Chinese warship came stunningly close to a U.S. Navy destroyer in the South China sea, narrowly avoiding collision. “We do not seek conflict or confrontation, but we will not flinch in the face of bullying or coercion,” U.S. Defense Security Lloyd Austin warned. This happens many more times than the average person would imagine.
I was stationed on a warship in Yokosuka, Japan in the 80’s. Our soul purpose was to make a presence and chase Russian submarines around. They would come a few thousand yards ahead of us or follow us partially submerged just to show us they could. It’s all a big game, it’s what militaries do.

Welp American electronics are full of pay to use features. I moved to Chinese printers. Ink is super cheap and it's just works. Deli printers require like 1 cent of ink for 5 pages. US made ones cost hundreds of times more.

It was also convenient when a US news crew was on that RC-135 spy plane when it was intercepted as it was approaching a Chinese military installation in the South China Sea.
I wonder what would happen if a Chinese spy plane was approaching Diego Garcia ... I wonder if it would encounter US fighters as it approached the 12nm limit? (LOL)

I mean pretty much everyone has phones and cameras these days. Some pilots are required to keep cameras on boards planes, as well as sailors too. Its not just news crews either. I mean, honestly, if you think this is a setup of some kind, you can think that. A ship going into another ships wake is very dangerous and can cause it to tilt really bad or flip and sink.

This clearly is a deliberate provocation. The Chinese ship is intentional. Taiwan Strait is an international waterway. The PLA ship has no right to block others. Should get more nations to sail their naval ships through Taiwan Strait, an important international waterway. US, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, S. Korea, Germany, France, etc.
