@Ricoville Yes, true! I was born in 1958 and when I got to High School, there weren't MANY kids at all who were "sent away to reform school" or "girls who got pregnant". Those things weren't talked about. Today its an everyday occurance! What a difference!
How y’all kids were best friends and y’all never met? Maybe it’s because I have older parents. 😂 they met all my best friends parents. “I need to know who house you bouta be over.” “Ain’t no sleepover until I talk to her mama and daddy” 😂

I honestly think she knew after seeing his photo, but I cannot blame her for needing both time to process the info and the desire for hard facts before getting emotionally bonded. A lot to process. They patiently waited for her with open arms and lots of love!
He certainly isn't the first. I'm sure that he had regret later in life but then he couldn't find her and her mom after being dumped had zero interest in contacting him. Sad beginning, but happy ending. Maybe some man will see this and not make that same mistake.
It was the love and support for me. They were so welcoming and you can just tell they hoped and hoped that was going to be their sister, despite her doubt and disbelief. I loved the lack of name calling. Everyone was so mature and just open. Have my pregnant self crying watching the hug at the end 🥹🥹🥹🥹
In the beginning I didnt like her mom but once the story unfolded, it makes sense why she didnt tell her about her bio father -this was the 70s -left mom while 6mo pregnant -had 2 women pregnant at the same time -had a son who didnt know about his sisters until 10 years ago -wasnt really present for his daughters -didnt look for his daughter Why bother with him if she was adopted by a good man.
Natalie Thompson I agree with that logic. I think she was trying to protect her daughter’s feelings. If it was me I would have told her when I felt she was old enough to understand but those were different times.
These 40+ year old women look soooooooo soooo much younger than half the people that appear on paternity court in their 20s...... the ending though so happy for them congrats Miss Lee your family just extended :)
I partially disagree because he was told she was deceased, but because he felt in his heart that she was out there he is not absolved of responsibility. Especially since her mama was 6 months prego when he left her for another woman. Leave the woman, not your child! But her mama should have told her the truth, at the very latest by the time she was a teen or young adult. It would still hurt, but she would've been able to decide if she wanted to look for him. It's 40 years later. I always wanted a lil sister, and when she was 18, I found out I had one. People need to be honest with their kids. All these family secrets! 😔
and so you seriously don't think her own mother has ANY Responsibility to at least tell her the Truth rather than hope she never find out *Make it make sense 🤔🙄
@@JustCC101 it doesn't matter if he thought she was dead...sorry but there is no reason to disagree. She should have known REGARDLESS of if she was dead or not. She had every right to know and he was incorrect in doing that...thinking she was dead OR alive doesn't matter. Period.
My sister and I found our brother after 20+ years. We haven't physically met yet because we're on different areas of the world but we're definitely connected
I'm SO VERY happy for ALL of them. Sonja DESERVED this in her life at this point. FINALLY A VERY RARE HAPPY ENDING in paternity court. No Drama, No cursing, NOW verbal beat downs. Just A VERY good classy and CLASSIC show.
Right???!!! That sealed the deal! At first I was like, "please don't bring more family in! It's gonna hurt more if it's not true." But when Bruh stepped in, I was like "Yepppppp, that's his sister".
This made me cry I’m so happy for them all! Yes she missed out on a lot of her young life with siblings but now she has a chance to have a lovely lovely family! Heartwarming
Personally, if I had been approached in school and told that I have a look alike I would have been curious enough to find the person just so I could see for myself.
I had four siblings that I didn't know existed until I was in middle school 😔 2 sisters and 2 brothers *I met the youngest sister of the 2 in the grocery store one day (I think I was about 12) I didn't know who she was (but I knew we had to be related) it was like staring into a mirror (she knew who I was)
I've been told I have a twin most of my life. She lived a couple of towns over from the small town I lived in. It never crossed my mind to find her to see if it was true. I'm 48 now. I've never seen her and never wanted to. I guess I'm not that curious.🤷🏾♀️
You can feel the love through the screen!! No matter the sins of the father and the mother they both taught their children to love!! If people can have that mindset with our own family geesh the world would be absolutely amazing!! This is an example of what love looks and feel like!! This has to be one of my favorites❤️
Just viewed this in July 2022 and totally agree with you! BEST show ever!! Her siblings didn't doubt that they'd found her and were patiently waiting for her to receive the proof that she needed to fully embrace her new reality and family. PURE LOVE all around.
This episode was deep. From Ms. Lee being informed she had a whole another family and a different biological to father to her being presumed dead at one point. The father Mr. Miller certainly created the confusion. But I loved how her siblings embraced her. They went out to search for her. She and Ms. France look just alike. It's something that they were around each other in the same school and their children are friends. It was meant to be. Ms. Lee's mother should've told her the truth it is her right to know. But it was certainly Heart warming to see her brother and sisters embrace her.
Ms. Sonia looks more alike to their father than any of them...When i saw their dad's pic and her, she looks more of him, than the rest of them right there...Good result, and nice reunion to the Miller's Family!
Your mother is right, it sounds like the man abandoned her, he should have made the effort to reclaim you while alive. He did wrong by putting this burden on his daughters, forgive and move on!
She has family who loves already and waiting. Best outcome ever!!! She is their sister because she look like her sister and brother definitely the nose
The siblings accepted the information of her existence and welcomed her with opened arms. They are such loving people. Sonia is blessed beyond her expectations. I can’t wait until she meets all of the family.
This was such a sweet case, I cried when she gave the results. You could tell how bad they wanted her to be their sister, they finally found her. I'm so happy about the outcome.
They didn't have any doubts IMHO. They were patiently waiting for her to get her concrete proof so that she could 100% embrace her new reality and family. BEST show ever!! Had her mom told her years earlier, it wouldn't have been such a shock. Wish them many blessings as they move forward
When I saw the picture of the father, I knew she was his daughter. This turned out really good. It is good they found this out, being as their children are best friends, and were calling each other cousins before they found out.
Fathers are such an important part of a child's life, her stepfather helped raise a beautiful person and she would always honour his memory, I love how her siblings accepted her without reservation, so happy for everyone.
This is one of the best stories I've seen so far! No name calling, no cursing, no acting like a fool, just people acting like they have some common sense and want to know the truth about a serious situation.
16:07 is like the scene in the color purple at the end where everybody walks away and the 2 sisters are left standing together. I can't stop crying over that moment. Congratulations everyone
The mother got of easy ... she said he left when she was 6 months pregnant which confirms she knew he was the father ... imagine if one of her brothers also attended the same school and they started dating!! No excuse she should of been told ..
@@FalaqX I agree that she should have told her daughter the truth once she was old enough to understand but I don't think she got off easy. She was fortunate enough to marry someone who was willing to adopt and raise her as his own. Maybe she thought the truth would change or hurt the relationship with her father.
this one had me in tears!!! I can't imagine what she is going through but she has a lot of love in this family. So happy for her. I'd like to stay updated on this family
That's not the case here. Dad disappears in the 60's? You're not finding him unless he wants to be found. And to be a young black woman then? That kind of rejection will only add to the list of issues a child faces daily. The mother was trying to protect her.
Again, the biological father put her through it moreso. He abandoned the mom during pregnancy, and never stepped in to father her. Mom never brought him up because of this. Mom should have told her at an age she could understand, but again dad did nothing to be a father.
There is no excuse for not telling her. None. Zero. Even if he didn't step up, she deserved to know her siblings and that the man isn't her bio father. It's not about whether he steps up or not, it's about the child.
@@jessicapepper1057 it's easy to be absolutist, but let's face practical reality. He had another woman pregnant at the same time, the child being Ms. France. Did you really think the plaintiff would be welcomed in that home or treated fairly as a child or young adult? The plaintiff's mother did what was best for plaintiff as a fetus at the time and found a husband for the mother, who will be a father for the plaintiff. Looking at his character, it doesn't sound like it was best for Ms. France to meet this man while he was alive. Back in the day, if a man gets a woman pregnant and not make her an honest woman (a wife), then if the pregnant woman finds a husband, then the bio father gets an F U from the pregnant woman and her family. I'm seeing this pattern watching PC. Call it the small town "a man must protect women & children" values.

We don't know all the circumstances of other peoples lives. We will never know. I'm so happy they found each other. This is 17 min and 39seconds of a lifetime. Just say amen!! 😁
Agree
@@nneoma6106 Seems like she had a loving father so maybe she was better off without him..
@@nneoma6106 yes! She IS his twin! You can see how much Ms France looks like Ms Lee. They'd pass for sisters EVEN if they weren't actually sisters. But Ms Lee..... As my mommy always said. "You couldn't have carved her out of his backside and not made her look more like HIM!" She's his "mini-me"!
WOW, Crazy, but a great Ending. Their Kids are Best Friends, they went to School and never knew they were Related, Small World.
Lamont Miller, Jr thank God they aren't enemies that would be so awkward 👀👀👀
Yesss im happy for them what a great ending😊
That's happened to me my cousin my favorite uncle's daughter an I was were best friend in kindergarten til 4th grade. Then one day my Dad took me to my grandma's house n there she was..I was like Daddy that's my friend from school he said that's your cousin..I was like Wow all this time we never knew I think we did say that we had the same last name but I never seen her before then
@@sensual2kizz613 I thought when the brother was coming in that she was going to say "we dated!"
The mother was planning to take her secret to the grave. The family is very loving.
Which is understandable. The man who raised her was there since day one I believe. He was her "real" dad, though not her biological dad.
Phalyn Williams 😂😂
Yep Amen
@Ricoville Yes, true! I was born in 1958 and when I got to High School, there weren't MANY kids at all who were "sent away to reform school" or "girls who got pregnant". Those things weren't talked about. Today its an everyday occurance! What a difference!
I'm not understanding
The Sisters and Brothers have angelic hearts... good people.
Why wouldn't they have angelic hearts? Their father probably never told them that he deserted Sonya's mother at six months pregnant, for their mother.
How y’all kids were best friends and y’all never met? Maybe it’s because I have older parents. 😂 they met all my best friends parents. “I need to know who house you bouta be over.” “Ain’t no sleepover until I talk to her mama and daddy” 😂
okayyy as a matter of fact, I ain't going over by no friends, they coming there! My Parents knew EVERY friend I had. I thank God for them!
Not only children their grand moms were friends!!
"Can I go over ______'s house?" .... "Nope, I don't know their folks"
Yes!! I said the same thing. I’ve met and became friends with all of my kids best friends parents, heck I even met just regular fries parents and where they live. How they kids call each other cousins and y’all never met. I wonder if they just came on here as a way to be in tv
Never had a sleepover

Mr miller got kids with klass, great respect to them.
Yeah they do.
Their mothers raised them right💕
he chose decent baby mommas
I thought I was the only one that observed it. They seem well mannered.
She looks exactly like her biological father! ♥️ God is amazing!
I honestly think she knew after seeing his photo, but I cannot blame her for needing both time to process the info and the desire for hard facts before getting emotionally bonded. A lot to process. They patiently waited for her with open arms and lots of love!
So sad the father leaving without looking back.
So glad the daughters all came to be good people.
He certainly isn't the first. I'm sure that he had regret later in life but then he couldn't find her and her mom after being dumped had zero interest in contacting him. Sad beginning, but happy ending. Maybe some man will see this and not make that same mistake.
She looks exactly like him. More than the others. 😍😍😍
Yeah
THAT IS HER TWIN!!! oh my goodness
I said the same thing🤷🤷🤷🤷
You're right. They're hood twins.
Who besides me says “good day” back to judge lake when she says it 😂

Omg, so do I lol
We know she wasn't talking to us! We need to mind our business.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 good day!
I cried tears of sincere joy! So happy for Ms. Sonja. There is nothing more important than family! Amen! 🙏💞🙏
Loving family!!! We've seen plenty of families on this show that you should run far away from!!
In the beginning I didnt like her mom but once the story unfolded, it makes sense why she didnt tell her about her bio father
-this was the 70s
-left mom while 6mo pregnant
-had 2 women pregnant at the same time
-had a son who didnt know about his sisters until 10 years ago
-wasnt really present for his daughters
-didnt look for his daughter
Why bother with him if she was adopted by a good man.
Natalie Thompson I agree with that logic. I think she was trying to protect her daughter’s feelings. If it was me I would have told her when I felt she was old enough to understand but those were different times.
My daughter's father did the same thing .. I was three months pregnant and he left. He said its him not me
@@ebonee3179 , no there were other honest people back then, truth is a beautiful thing.
Natalie Thompson amen👏🏾
@@shelitajackson4441 sorry for what u went through
These 40+ year old women look soooooooo soooo much younger than half the people that appear on paternity court in their 20s...... the ending though so happy for them congrats Miss Lee your family just extended :)
Yay!
That’s a combination of melanin, makeup and fantastic lighting.
A 22 years girl was on the show.and One was saying she looks like she's in her fortys are fifty's.
Simply beautiful. They turned into little girls all over again. Very heart warming❤
It was her birth father’s responsibility to find, accept, care for and acknowledge his own child.
Exactly, he was a rolling stone coward👎
I agree
I partially disagree because he was told she was deceased, but because he felt in his heart that she was out there he is not absolved of responsibility. Especially since her mama was 6 months prego when he left her for another woman. Leave the woman, not your child! But her mama should have told her the truth, at the very latest by the time she was a teen or young adult. It would still hurt, but she would've been able to decide if she wanted to look for him. It's 40 years later. I always wanted a lil sister, and when she was 18, I found out I had one. People need to be honest with their kids. All these family secrets! 😔
and so you seriously don't think her own mother has ANY Responsibility to at least tell her the Truth rather than hope she never find out
*Make it make sense 🤔🙄
@@JustCC101 it doesn't matter if he thought she was dead...sorry but there is no reason to disagree. She should have known REGARDLESS of if she was dead or not. She had every right to know and he was incorrect in doing that...thinking she was dead OR alive doesn't matter. Period.
Dayum, this is why women should be the new FBI ... their search skills are beyond belief :P haha
No?
I found my mother's entire family for her! It took me about 6 months but she now has siblings
My sister and I found our brother after 20+ years. We haven't physically met yet because we're on different areas of the world but we're definitely connected
Enough wine, time, and wifi will let anyone do it lol
Kudos to them but they searched Facebook let’s not be extra....🤦🏾♀️
I'm SO VERY happy for ALL of them. Sonja DESERVED this in her life at this point. FINALLY A VERY RARE HAPPY ENDING in paternity court. No Drama, No cursing, NOW verbal beat downs. Just A VERY good classy and CLASSIC show.
Strange setup though, the man only met his sisters 10 years ago...papa was a rolling stone
ROBBIE BUNGE Based on the other comments, I didn’t think anyone else caught that 😑
Definitely
Exactly
I caught it too
ROBBIE BUNGE a so dem roll 💗
When the brother walked in I was like OMG 😱 that's her family for sure
Right???!!! That sealed the deal! At first I was like, "please don't bring more family in! It's gonna hurt more if it's not true." But when Bruh stepped in, I was like "Yepppppp, that's his sister".
My my
She’s so blessed to have all that love ❤️ from her siblings ❤️❤️
This made me cry I’m so happy for them all! Yes she missed out on a lot of her young life with siblings but now she has a chance to have a lovely lovely family! Heartwarming
These onions are wayyyy too STRONG!!! OMG, This is by far one of the "BESTEST" episodes ever.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😄😄😊😊😊😊
So Glad they were Her Siblings I didn’t want her to be disappointed 😞. This outcome was Great Late Coming but, Good 🙏🏽❤️.

Here from seeing the clip of this on TikTok! So glad that the children of Mr Miller are getting answers that they deserve. God bless them!
Personally, if I had been approached in school and told that I have a look alike I would have been curious enough to find the person just so I could see for myself.
I know RIGHT!👀
I had four siblings that I didn't know existed until I was in middle school 😔 2 sisters and 2 brothers
*I met the youngest sister of the 2 in the grocery store one day (I think I was about 12) I didn't know who she was (but I knew we had to be related) it was like staring into a mirror (she knew who I was)
I would have had to see for myself I'm a curious 🤔 person n I question everything
???
It's beautiful to see that they were so receptive of her. Some of these adults be so nasty.
Totally agree with you
This episode was deep.
Top 5 episodes easily 😥 is it ok for a man to cry? 😭
Absolutely!!! 😍
Absolutely💯🎯 Shows that U have feelings. Not a robot w/ no emotions..✔🎯‼‼‼
Yes
Yes, you're only human.(catching up on old episodes) had a cry fest on this one.
papa was a rolling stone, where ever he laid his hat was his home
I'm only 2.30 in and can't get over how beautiful these women are. And they seem to be lovely ladies too. I hope it works out for them 🤗
Ms. Sonia looks more alike to their father than any of them...When i saw their dad's pic and her, she looks more of him, than the rest of them right there...Good result, and nice reunion to the Miller's Family!
For sure!
Your mother is right, it sounds like the man abandoned her, he should have made the effort to reclaim you while alive. He did wrong by putting this burden on his daughters, forgive and move on!
Exactly!
Right
Best episode ever heartwarming. The sisters look so much a like.
Sure do. Not surprising that in school other classmates said that they had a twin/looked like sisters. Their father had strong genes.
She has family who loves already and waiting. Best outcome ever!!! She is their sister because she look like her sister and brother definitely the nose
SONJA LOOKS LIKE THE DAD EVEN MORE THAN THE OTHER SIBLINGS....I LOVE THE HAPPY ENDING
Had me in tears! Praying they have a long healthy sibling relationship! 😢 🙏
Their family reunion is going to be EPIC... I don’t have the energy for that many Emojis😅👸🏽👸🏽👸🏽🤴🏾👌🏽✌🏽
The audience wants to go to their family reunions haha. So glad this worked out for them all!
so true makes me wanna be a their to witness it
The siblings accepted the information of her existence and welcomed her with opened arms.
I found myself rooting for this lady. She looks like her father.
More then the other kids
She is split image of the alleged father! Twins indeed.
SPIT IMAGE
Thanks UA-cam professor 🙄
When I saw the picture of the father, I knew she was his daughter. This turned out really good. It is good they found this out, being as their children are best friends, and were calling each other cousins before they found out.
Fathers are such an important part of a child's life, her stepfather helped raise a beautiful person and she would always honour his memory, I love how her siblings accepted her without reservation, so happy for everyone.
He and her father look like twins, Its like he spit her out himself!!!! She talk just like her brother thats so amazing!!
I cried 10 minutes in. Lawd! This is a loving family. ❤
It is so refreshing to see such a loving family, siblings welcoming each other to the family. Such a beautiful story and beautiful people!!!
I agree! It was such a beautiful episode =)
This is the happiest & best Paternity Court Episode ever❣ What a family reunion they are gonna have!
What a beautiful ending. Such a loving and warm family. Bless them all. 🥰
This is the BEST one I have seen. BEAUTIFUL
OK! I'm @ 1:50. FINALLY a decent paternity court with class and feelings. Minus the normal hood mess with multiple people.
Exactly! There was no yelling or disrespect. This may be one of my favorite episodes. Good day!
Still a hood mess. The plaintiff & one of the sisters are hood twins.
Yes!
@@tpamel But it's not their fault and they are doing positive things with it.
Yes I must say, it is super rare to find classy hood folk like this.
I was so worried for her. Finding that out at her age isn't easy. And to think they were so close and yet so far all the time.
Deathved confessions are the worst. It causes so much turmoil and in my opinion is cowardly.
You got that right very cowardly.
He wanted to leave this world with peace. I guess he may have thought..better late then never.
Yup. You are leaving this world and don't think you'll have to deal with it
You couldn't have said it any better! All them years smh
th1smomentisfate I don’t think Joab was insulting the man who stepped up. He meant the man that disappeared, it was his deathbed confession after all
This is one of the best stories I've seen so far!
Those genes though... Looking good for 40+ 😂🙌🏻
I love how this all turned out for the family!!! Family is a blessing!!!
The mother got of easy ... she said he left when she was 6 months pregnant which confirms she knew he was the father ... imagine if one of her brothers also attended the same school and they started dating!! No excuse she should of been told ..
Ri-ight!
Mom's ALWAYS get off easy.
@@FalaqX I agree that she should have told her daughter the truth once she was old enough to understand but I don't think she got off easy. She was fortunate enough to marry someone who was willing to adopt and raise her as his own. Maybe she thought the truth would change or hurt the relationship with her father.
No, the MOM said he left her
THIS WAS THE BEST EPISODE I HAVE VIEWED THUS FAR- AT LEAST SHE HAD A LOVING STEP-FATHER AND NOW ENTIRE NEW FAMILY.
this one had me in tears!!! I can't imagine what she is going through but she has a lot of love in this family. So happy for her. I'd like to stay updated on this family
How could a Mother put her child through this? Children deserve the choice of knowing the truth!
Godiva Goddess it a reason for it we never know
U dont get many happy moments on the show
MAN! THESE small towns back in-the-day and old folks carrying secrets to the grave. MAN FOLKS could HOLD some secrets back then. @ 10:17 Now ON with the show (smile)
