I built one of these with the same parts you have other than the canopy. adam recommended the parts, thanks adam! thanks nick for posting your pids, the tune is great. i'm so happy with the way it flies.
Awesome! I love these Rakon Frames, I have a bunch. A couple Adam worked on. But NONE of them are quite like this one.. This one has some very select components.. Very Impressive..
lol, I don't know if this has enough weight to knock them over. I have hit them pretty good, but usually pretty close to the gap. I haven't tried to make that gap at speed yet.
Nick Burns I bet it does, looks like a screamer indoors. I bet it hovers at a low throttle too. She seems like a beast. Guess I'm buying more batteries soon lol.
Does it have an onboard SD card reader? The picture says no but the audio sounds like its coming from the drone since you hear it all over the house. Fancy flying.
Great video, thoroughly enjoyed. Not in the market for a 76 but this looks like a good candidate to point friends at. I noticed that you were flying angle with low batteries. In angle mode, I think it is easier to feel the loss of control authority when the battery voltages are low. It's not quite so noticeable in acro because you're in charge of setting your own attitude. When doing your angle flights, you might want to do them on fresh batteries, switching to acro after.
That little guy rocks first 2s whoop ive seen. I was curious how that frame the prop guards would last with that speed and punch. Have the uraav 65 coming in a couple of days cant wait to go brushless my LDAARC tiny 6x has taken a beating on catches with flips and rolls over the last two weeks. Keep up the good work.
I finally built mine with the eachine 1102 11500kv too! It flew terrible on the old aurora68 props, which do fit the rakon frame. Now that it's got 40mm rakon triblades, it's smooth as butter, and too fast and powerfull to keep off my ceiling! it does seem to wobble a bit at a hover though, not sure what to do about that...
What is your goggles setup? Your DVR has no breakups through your house and basement. I have a lot of breakups when I fly in the house just one floor. I’m using Fatshark goggles with diversity antennas. Wonder how you did yours. Thanks
Nick Burns These HV 1s NBD packs are very much so! Like you i bought the package of six...then bought another package of six because the performance of the first six and run time. Running all of them on Beecore V2 Betaflight OSD and NewBeeDrone gold motors on Cockroach frames Tiny Whoop canopies F02 split camera . Running fast laps around the house practice acro. Landing when the voltage warning gos off! Packs and motors both hot! Half has puffed (performance run time reduced) and the other six still good? Maybe bad batch? Dont know? Good packs for the most part...but if your running hard and fast? Keep an eye on them..lol
dear nick, do you think this build will suitable with the 76mm aluminum frame, can the 1102 motor screw motor mount fit with the frame, do they need some drill?
My remote is a turnigy evolution. The transmitter for the turnigy is the iA6C which runs sbus. I am wondering if your set up here would connect to my turnigy or what mods I may need to make so that it would.
Ok so I'm wondering if you can help me... I did almost the exact same build just a different camera.. for some reason the quad just falls out of the air after about 5 seconds of flight.. te escs will restart by themselves after it falls.. and the vtx is getting really hot.. not sure what's happening... I fly 5 inch mostly.. not sure what's going on.. thanks
vtx getting warm is normal, if yours is hot hot could be an issue. If you spin the motors with betaflight does it run normal over the course of a battery? If not could indicate an issue with motors or esc.
Do you find the 75mm to be bigger and harder to fly into small spaces than the 65mm whoops? Trying to decide if the 75 might be a little too big for small spaces still.
I fly acro indoors. I run drills. Nothing like the comfort of your own home. I am also NOT one of those mode snobs. What do I care what mode someone else is flying? Please correct me if I am wrong but it appears to be bottom heavy in flight. The conformal coating is huge in my opinion for flying outside especially in the morning when there is dew on the grass. No doubt eventually a wet blade of grass will get in past the battery.
my rates are very high which makes it very sensitive to stick movement. My rc rate is 1.2 for pitch and roll, 1.3 for yaw. super rate is .75 for pitch and roll and .8 for yaw.
Nick Burns Thanks for sharing. Good to learn that. So far i learned is to set rate for pitch and roll around 50% with 60% expo. And yaw as 60 %. So probably your way are better i bet. So bad my bwhoop doesnt work with betaflight. I might need to buy your whoop to try it out.
How does this fly/compare to the Moskito70? I just broke my Moskito frame and am trying to figure out what to switch to. I was never really that happy with the moskito...
What do you think makes it better? I ask because I was thinking about recycling my moskito parts to use on this frame, but that would be pointless if they end up flying the same... I was planning on switching to 3 blade props, and possibly an all in one esc since the individual ESCs wont fit too well. I wanted to re-use the motors, camera, vtx and rx if possible...
I believe this weights less, is more durable and the configuration of motor positions, camera make it fly better and be easier to fly. I to broke the frame of the mosquito. The mosquito didn't have osd, or a choice of camera to use.
Nick, Adam is Building me one of these for me. Do you still recommend the Nitro Nectar 250mah 1S for the best flight time? Do you use 2 of these for 2S. I know the BetaFPV now have 300mah in that same size that may also provide even better flight time if their batteries are any good? I also found that on Thingiverse.com there are a few other 3D design mounts you can have printed for this Reconheli 76mm kits that will hold a 550mah or 650mah BetaFPV Battery or even two of them for 2S flying. Not sure if that would be too heavy? I am really hoping to find a battery combo that will get me 5 minutes or so on 1S and 2S with this build. Any suggestions or experience you have had would be appreciated. Happy New Year! 🎊 Luv2flypilot ✈️
5mins flight time is likely going to be a stretch. We might be able to get over 4mins but that depends on flight style. I would suggest the gnb 300mah hv batteries.
Thx, I will see what that does. I see Thingsiverse.com has some 3D design mounts that will fit (1) or even (2) of the BetaFPV 650mah batts but I am sure (2) running in 2S would be way too heavy. I could try (1) of these in 1S but would likely have to change the motors to a KV that is higher than the DYS BE1102 10,000 KV Motors Adam is installing on my 76mm build. I will give it also a try first before I go change out any motors.
Nice video Nick. Adam has been telling me for awhile now to build a 76, that I would really like it. So, last weekend I grabbed the parts and put it together in a few hours, basically the same build as yours but no canopy. I was immediately impressed with it and the 76 Delrin rings are much tougher than on the Rakon 66. Fast for a Whoop style and quite fun outdoors. Almost too fast for me indoors in tight quarters. I have an easier time with brushed Whoops in the very tight, but will get the PIDS sorted on the 76 and fly it more and I'm sure it will be as good or better. I did program in ESC beeper on switch and turtle mode and reversed props. Turtle mode is awesome! Did you use Antigravity and Dynamic filters?
I think 2s and 1102 is the way for performance. I didn't turn on/off the filters, but I typically turn on antigravity, just the default anymore when setting up a new board.
Nick Burns :-) thanks, too bad about the weather. Bad weater is stopping me too, but got my tiny builds to get my fix ;-) thanks again for your tight reviws. Fly hard, like allways
Love the cat just sitting there. My cat's are 1/2 and 1/2 about my flying. Some hide and some follow.Great flying as always,That zips and i bet it'll do great outside as well.what radio are you using?Looking to get my own so i can get bind and fly stuff.I don't have a big wallet but i know there are are some out there that are pretty good for the $$.Thoughts??
Nick Burns well of course you are right! Sorry I missed that somehow and didn’t see it when I went back and scrubbed through the vid again. Thanks for the reply and the awesome content as always!
I suggest looking at my more recent reviews, on the betafpv 65x and 75x and mobula 7 and the emax tiny hawk. I prefer the mobula 7, but if you have a stock pile of 1s 45mah batts the tiny hawk might be a better fit.
Also, the reason I didn't name a specific problem is because it changes every time I change the PID numbers. Not in the normal way it should change either. I've got it flying at least stable now but I can't get rid of this oscillation. If I pull down the numbers it gets really unstable but if I push them up at oscillates like crazy and I can't find a middle ground
I haven't tried your pids yet because I'm using boldclash 0705 15000 KV Motors. (I bought these a long time ago and didn't know the ones in your video existed) your pids are much lower than mine. when mine were that low it was a constant fight to keep it stable. I will try them regardless. Thanks for reminding me you put them in the video
Only if it's on by default. I've been out of the Drone game for many months now so I'm unfamiliar with that. Bardwell probably has good videos on it so Ill have to educate myself.
Hi Nick I’m a new subscriber just getting into these whoops and really enjoy your channel. Only been in the hobby flying 5” freestyle (still learning) What is your secret to good video? I see u going up and down stairs and I can’t get to the back bedroom in my 1400 sq. ft home without major break up. I have fat shark goggles w/ Furious True-D. What am I doing wrong.
it could be the spot your flying from. Move around to see what works better and worse. I am using the la forge receiver, but I do think tru d should be fine.Could also be the construction of your house. Aluminum studs will create multi pathing.
For the most part yes, but there is a version built minus the camera. Or someone can build it for you....like adam bomb fpv...he can be found on facebook
The more I watch these videos, the more I feel like I'm a fly zipping around keeping an eye out for a fly swatter! Do you think fly's get dizzy or paranoid about fly swatters? ;-)
can't get over how good your indoor acro flying is
Thank you. I fly almost everyday with quads just like this, good or bad weather.
Is it really Acro or Horizon? This is amazingly precise!!! Way to go!
acro. About the only time I use angle or horizon is when I review one of the toy quads where we don't have a choice.
good to see u have the house back in order awsome flying as always ty ty .
This is a 15month old video, well before we redid the floors.
I built one of these with the same parts you have other than the canopy. adam recommended the parts, thanks adam! thanks nick for posting your pids, the tune is great. i'm so happy with the way it flies.
nice.
bro the way that you rip through your house is freaking bonkers i love it !!!!!!
lol, thanks.
Awesome! I love these Rakon Frames, I have a bunch. A couple Adam worked on. But NONE of them are quite like this one.. This one has some very select components.. Very Impressive..
What incredible power and agility! Great flying too! Well, that about tells you why 2S in this category is so amazing.
Big Shout Out to ADAMBOMB FPV great build and flys like a beast thanks again
Amazing performance, lots of speed and agility... Like always great flying Nick, all the best
Thanks
Your flying skills are amazing! Makes me want one of these little 2s monsters.
Thanks, its a lot of fun
That thing rips. I've been getting into Whoop style quads with my daughter.
That it does.
WOW this is what i have been waiting on!! A super fast whoop thanks for sharing this is so sweet!!! I need one!!! Great flying!!
Thank you
Nick Burns no thank you i knew there was something like this out there!!! I need to get one!! You where going so fast looked super fun
2s tiny whoop is insane😁 it's not cheap but that performance is amazing. Thanks Nick👍
your right, not cheap, but this one took a beating where the b06 required me to be more careful after initial board esc died.
That is the finest flying I've seen on youtube. Dang, man. nice .
Thank you
Impressive flying! I would have knocked over one of those lamps for sure ;-) You are having way too much fun! Happy Flying!
lol, I don't know if this has enough weight to knock them over. I have hit them pretty good, but usually pretty close to the gap. I haven't tried to make that gap at speed yet.
Sweet!!! I was thinking of getting a betafpv 65s but now you have me thinking I want this bad boy. I just messaged Adam to see cost on them. Love it.
It takes good throttle control, but it just flies with such good response. Nothing like anything I have flown indoor.
Nick Burns I bet it does, looks like a screamer indoors. I bet it hovers at a low throttle too. She seems like a beast. Guess I'm buying more batteries soon lol.
Mr Burns the kwad is a monster but you are a really great pilot, I though I´m fly amazing on acro with my tiny whoop but this is a great one!
Thank you
awesome!!! those micro quads are getting better, like every day :D
You are a Awesome pilot. Love the way you tiny whoops really nice. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you
Does it have an onboard SD card reader? The picture says no but the audio sounds like its coming from the drone since you hear it all over the house. Fancy flying.
It does not. The audio is from a stationary camera, blend dvr with audio in edit
That could be.
Your cat doesn´t care.
She surely has a good life. :-)
nope, pretty jaded at this point. He seems to know when I am flying brushless, he just chills, but he will go after the brushed ones sometimes.
Burn em up Nick man.
That was a sick ass flight. Riiiiippin'! Right on unit for sure.
Thank you
Great video Nick. Loving the super s fly tower.
yea, it just works.
Nice house! Awesome mini quad
I finally built mine with the eachine 1102 11500kv too! It flew terrible on the old aurora68 props, which do fit the rakon frame. Now that it's got 40mm rakon triblades, it's smooth as butter, and too fast and powerfull to keep off my ceiling! it does seem to wobble a bit at a hover though, not sure what to do about that...
slow wobble or fast. Fast lower p on all axis, slow increase p on all axis.
Nick Burns slow, I'll bump my P's up and see what happens, thanks
Love watching your videos Nick thanks for for sharing so much love this 2S... might ave to look at that.
Thank you
What are your video recording equipment for this flight? The video quality is great. Thanks.
fatshark hd3 with la forge module.
Great video feed, is that cos you're houses are made of straw?
seems that way :)
love the cat just laid out against the wall, not bothered at all!!!!
yep, he is just taking it in and waiting for nap time.
What is your goggles setup? Your DVR has no breakups through your house and basement. I have a lot of breakups when I fly in the house just one floor. I’m using Fatshark goggles with diversity antennas. Wonder how you did yours. Thanks
I have fatshark hd3 with la forge module. using the aomway blue antenna.
parts orderd ! TANKS ! Whoop 2.0!
oh its so fun, still flying it before bed.
I been running the HV NBD packs for awhile...but they really easy to puff if the get real hot..
The only HV I have run are the 1s variety. I have heard the multicell HV can be temperamental.
Packs and motors both hot! Half has puffed (performance run time reduced) and the other six still good? Maybe bad batch? Dont know? Good packs for the most part...but if your running hard and fast? Keep an eye on them..lol
super smooth flight. very nice
Thank you
dear nick, do you think this build will suitable with the 76mm aluminum frame, can the 1102 motor screw motor mount fit with the frame, do they need some drill?
I have stayed away from the aluminum. I suspect it weighs more and more likely to dent.
Saw this video and had to subscribe! Trying to build a tw that will bind to my turning.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I don't understand. bind to my turning....is that bind to my taranis? Binding will depend on the board, receiver and radio.
My remote is a turnigy evolution. The transmitter for the turnigy is the iA6C which runs sbus. I am wondering if your set up here would connect to my turnigy or what mods I may need to make so that it would.
Ok so I'm wondering if you can help me... Do you find the 75mm to be bigger and harder to fly into small spaces than the 65mm whoops? Trying to decide if the 75 might be a little too big for small spaces still.
I don't. Its 10mm diagonally, which isn't much at all. I find it easier to hit gaps with this as the response/control is better on 2s.
Awesome man, i have question its frame rakonheli 76 fit with betafpv 1103 motor?thx
Yes, 1103 and 1102 have the same motor mounting holes
@@NickBurnsFPV thx for your advice
Can you use a single 2s rather than 2 1S batteries with it?
You could, but not with the stock battery mounts. There could be a file on thingiverse that could be printed to replace the stock mount.
AMAZING flight time !!
Does this have the same camera mount hole spacing as the regular brushed whoop?
it does but only on two of the holes are used.
nick, witch of the two would you rather pick as a better tiny whoop. Bwhoop B06 or Derlin Whoop 2s?
no doubt Delrin Whoop 2s.
Have you done the drawing for the giveaway?? I am not sure where to check..
I have it recorded. I will be posting it tomorrow.
thank you, wish me luck!!
Awesome! Thanks for the video! You Ripped it as well!!! Very nice!
Thank you
awesome ...
is your wall isn't brick ? ... you seems doesn't have a problem at all with fpv signal when entering each room
yes, typical current drywall and wood stud contruction.
wow cool. also the fpv model tiny whoop battery good?
they are pretty good, I can't say if the flight time was any longer or better than normal though.
Do you think you could get away with putting 1104 motors in it or will the prop guards only work with 1102?
I think the props would stick up a bit over the guards, but nothing like they do on the boldclash b06
Can you take the prop guards off? Would it go faster?
They would have to be cut off as the motor mounts are built into the whoops/guards.
Nick Burns Have you tried it outdoors?
I fly acro indoors. I run drills. Nothing like the comfort of your own home. I am also NOT one of those mode snobs. What do I care what mode someone else is flying?
Please correct me if I am wrong but it appears to be bottom heavy in flight. The conformal coating is huge in my opinion for flying outside especially in the morning when there is dew on the grass. No doubt eventually a wet blade of grass will get in past the battery.
I really didn't feel it on the sticks. It might look that way, as I have a bad habit of jumping into hard turns.
Hi Nick, that's the fastest indoor acro i have seen. I am just getting into this. Would you mind sharing your tx rate and expo?
my rates are very high which makes it very sensitive to stick movement. My rc rate is 1.2 for pitch and roll, 1.3 for yaw. super rate is .75 for pitch and roll and .8 for yaw.
Nick Burns thanks a lot. A lot to learn for me.
How about rates at the radio?
I don't use any special settings on the radio. I only make sure I get 1000-2000 on the sticks.
This is much better, its the best indoor flyer I have tried/reviewed. Yes, I had the mosquito as well.

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated!!
sure.
What size props will fit this with out a drill
Wow just wow in Acro your a pure genius
Thank you
Did you have white lines on your fpv feed? Have the same isseu with my tx01s
very small wavy lines, you can see them in the video.
Nick, Adam is Building me one of these for me. Do you still recommend the Nitro Nectar 250mah 1S for the best flight time? Do you use 2 of these for 2S.
Thanks
Holy ..... that is some nice whooping and neat drone feats Nick. That looks like so much fun. How does it perform outside?
I have not flown outside. Weather is bad...snow and cold.
Nick Burns :-) thanks, too bad about the weather. Bad weater is stopping me too, but got my tiny builds to get my fix ;-) thanks again for your tight reviws. Fly hard, like allways

I use several, but my favorite is the devo 10 with 4 in 1 module. My module recently died, waiting on another one.
Great video quality
How much does the build weigh without batteries? You mentioned about 2x a whoop but skipped the scale this vid.
At 51seconds is the weight. 38.76grams.
Nick Burns well of course you are right! Sorry I missed that somehow and didn’t see it when I went back and scrubbed through the vid again.
Thanks for the reply and the awesome content as always!
sure. downside of the quickroll specs.
What the deuce! Is that a new guest room downstairs?
yes, basement was remodeled.
What's the total build cost for just the complete drone?
Just a guess $175-$200
Wow world's fastest open house !! How to show your house in 2.3 seconds lol great video's great content and flying earned a sub from me thanks.
Thanks
Wow! open a window and do a roof blast. Amazing flying.
Thank you
Dang... that's super nice.
how big are the batteries, i see over 1000maH
mainly 250mah batteries
Would a fly sky receiver work ?
yes, but it needs to be very very small
Awesome model, man! Great flight! You could try bigger batteries, maybe 300mAh... Up to 400mAh. ;)
They won't fit in the stock battery mounts. I would need to print something.
So is this the best or to buy a prebuilt of some kind??????
I suggest looking at my more recent reviews, on the betafpv 65x and 75x and mobula 7 and the emax tiny hawk. I prefer the mobula 7, but if you have a stock pile of 1s 45mah batts the tiny hawk might be a better fit.
Nick Burns so should I buy this or the beta65x?
Nick Burns the mobula7 is just extremely sold out and some places still say preorder.
doesn't that mean that most think its better? I don't suggest the 65x or 75x unless your very experienced and/or plan to fly outside mostly.
Is there a flysky version of it
This is a build so all we need to do it put in a flysky rx
Yay new video
Comment tu le pilote 😍 bien voir mais vidéo !!! 😉
Mine doesn't fly well. I can't figure out how to tune it. I know how to tune Big 5 inch quads but for some reason I can't get this whoop tuned
Did you use the same parts I have? Did you try the pids I posted in the video?
I haven't tried your pids yet because I'm using boldclash 0705 15000 KV Motors. (I bought these a long time ago and didn't know the ones in your video existed) your pids are much lower than mine. when mine were that low it was a constant fight to keep it stable. I will try them regardless. Thanks for reminding me you put them in the video
ah, different motors, lower torque will require higher pids. Do you have dynamic filtering on?
Only if it's on by default. I've been out of the Drone game for many months now so I'm unfamiliar with that. Bardwell probably has good videos on it so Ill have to educate myself.
Insane. I must build one.
Its fun
Wow! Awesome flight and house 😂 new sub from spain my friend!
Thank you
Wowww. Nice indoor acro! Thanks for sharing. :)
Thanks
Is there something out there that is almost as good that you can buy that is pnp or bnf?
Its kinda close the boldclash b06, its the only one I am aware of, nothing with 1102 motors
Can you share BetaFlight PID settings?
Its in the video.
What was the camera model change?
I changed the lens only and I am not sure what it is, just something sitting in the bin.
Can you fly the Hawkey firefly micro on this?
maybe, but it would take a creative mount and it wouldn't fly long for very agile.
Nick Burns would love to see it if you get the chance. Thanks
I have no plans for it.

Wait... so it's a 2s quad, but you're using a 1s batter? just making sure I know what's going on.
yes, two 2 1s batteries.
The cat is in the same spot on every video lol!
He has his favorite spots. :)
Ouuuuuuuuuuu this flight so smoooth
How about 4 blade props?
If you can find some with 1.5shaft size it would likely fly well with slightly less flight time.
Wow!! Dialed in!
thanks
What props do you use
rakon heli props.
you have to build these?
For the most part yes, but there is a version built minus the camera. Or someone can build it for you....like adam bomb fpv...he can be found on facebook
You gotta power loop the treadmill!
Good job !
The more I watch these videos, the more I feel like I'm a fly zipping around keeping an eye out for a fly swatter! Do you think fly's get dizzy or paranoid about fly swatters? ;-)
their life is so short, I doubt they worry about much. :)
Yo you rock. Wow. Crazy. Love your videos.
Thank you
So cool. I need one!
Love your review👍🏻👌🏻
thank you
Can you fly it in rate mode?
I only flew it in ract/acro mode.
That is so awesome!!!
thank you
The cat seems content in just waiting it out.
Did you build it or its rtf
Its a build.
Is that cat just used to whoops flying around at this point? Didn't budge the entire time.
yea, he is jaded.
