As an Australian, I'll say it's because we are so sick of all the stupid ideas that foreigners have about Australia that we all just decided to say "fuck it" and see how far we can roll with it before they catch on.

I don't know if Sungwon will ever return to the podcast, but if he does, he'll be ready. He'll come with a battle strategy for exactly how to roast these guys, and he won't take any of their takes lying down.
SungWon was one of my favourite guests because they all felt so much more comfortable as the episode went on and it was a nice opportunity to see them get to know each other better
I can understand watching at 2x speed, it’s a bit fast, but at least you’re still absorbing the story. Conner says “fuck the story” and skips, that is unforgivable
@@PerfectSense77 like garnt does that with the shows he definately know aren't going to be too interesting. I'm sure he doesn't do that with most of the anime he knows will be good. It's for making his job easier but the skipping cutscenes is unforgivable, he has no reason to rush the game.
@@ishansharma2463 I get wanting to skip a cutscene to get to gameplay. @@Racmaster00 ya that's bad game design. Nah fam, it definitely should have been Sydney losing the wine testing to Connor. The way he kept going on about her "poor" taste, being trained by Jean-Pierre-whatever-bullshit and then rubbing it in her face with the final "F*CK YOU SYDNEY!!" I'm surprised Syd didn't actually snap and murder Connor with her bare hands 😂
Connor skipping cutscenes in videogame reminds me of my 55 year old father who prefers to skip dialogues in movies and would rather just jump straight to action scenes (or the 'spicy' scenes). At one time he breaks the DVD remote in half cause he realized that the dialogue is actually 90 percent of the movie while the action is just 10 percent.
I neither skip through anime nor play at 2x speed. This is what I do instead Drop it yeah, if I find the story so lackluster that I am bored enough to skip through it, then there is no point wasting any time at all. I go on to find something else worth my time. Sometimes there is stuff that gets better over time, and usually the fan base will let everyone know in those situations, but waaay more often that not, what you see is what you get after the first few episodes/chapters. I'm not worried about it though, there is enough good stuff to last a lifetime if you make the effort to look for it. I understand doing that if it's your job to watch all that stuff regardless of quality, but I personally don't have time to waste. I understand there are some people who feel compelled to finish what they start, but you are just wasting even more time if you do that. I used to be that way, but realized I needed to value my time more. I don't watch anime and read manga for work, I do it for enjoyment. No point doing it if you aren't enjoying it.
I don't do it, but I think that you should absolutely be able to skip cutscenes whenever you want. Sometimes the game has a ton of story and none of it is good. But the gameplay is excellent.
There's some good Anime which unfortunately has really slow moments. Like the original Dragon Ball for example (not DBZ but the series it's a sequel of). A lot of cool story elements but the pacing in some episodes is SUUUPER slow. Like episodes where there are like 5 minutes of guys screaming and punching eachother while a 5fps loop of them punching eachother plays, lmao. You need 2x or even 3x to get through it, lmao.
Idk why Pro was so salty when he's barely voice acting anything anymore after he advocated that only people that match the characters ethnicity should play those roles.
