But why?? Sweet you can build a car with an unlimited budget! And its already half way done. The show should be called half done to finished!
Not a greasy tool or hand in sight!. That’s what I call luxury.
A far cry from roadkill garage
That was a wonderful 43 minutes guys. That is one fine looking car. Of course I want a different body colour and interior but otherwise, incredible work. A piece of art that you get to sit in and drive. Very cool. Nice to watch professionals. Nice to also watch fab rats in their garages. Anything mechanical. It brings me peace. Appreciate it.
Wow . The last 15 years and counting of my Camaro related life condensed into 43 minutes!!!!
Man I love a 69 camaro! Still on my list of dreams. 🤘
This is an amazing job. I dream of doing something like this. Way to go.
Why didn't they just install a new subframe with rack and pinion steering to go with the four link rear end?
@@justingray3456 that’s another 10K
talk about dream wrenching !!!! Everything new & clean
such a sweet build! I'm really digging the show, keep up the amazing work guys :)
Thanks to the sponsors who made it happen.
nice super camaro in the world
Wow. I love the car. It's incredible what you can produce if you have 300k to throw at a build. No doubt the car is amazing but I may as well be watching you guys build a 5 million dollar house in a week.
Just what we need, another camaro build.
So awesome and inspiring!!!! Thanks for sharing!!! I learned so much!!!
Great episode make it a series!! Love it.
My favorite week to wicked build yet!
Nice to see Tavarish’s brother is into cars as well👍😁
You guys are killer. Loved it👍👍👍👍👍
Great video love the car
Nicely done guys. Great looking ride...
I love the design😍
Fun to watch, and the car is incredible (except for the cheesy decals), but if I had the money to do a build I wouldn’t just go out and buy literally every single piece brand new. Restore what can be restored. Replace or mod what you have to. You would end up with a way more authentic piece of automotive history rather than a collection of parts assembled from amazon.
That requires endless money & knowhow.
OMG this is amazingggggggg
no thermal cooling/heat shield on the firewall?
AMAZING Car. AMAZING work!!
*Also amazing is that ONE person doesn't understand the nose is ALSO part of the respiratory system.*
Fantástic 👏👏👏
Great build
Great build.
This is quite good .. for 'new-Motortrend' standard ..
Hey, a car guy show with a guy actually wearing pants. Excellent!
That is a amazing beautiful car
Awesome Car..... dont get much better :)
When I seen no intercooler I literally threw up in my mouth a little. Come on guys it’s well worth the effort. Disappointed in that.
This is Motortrend, they make builds for views, not quality.
For that top radiator hose all you have to do is get one from a truck from 01 to 06
My dream car!
Getting famous off of comments day 224, so I can live the dream, live every day like it’s your last🤙🤙
Good luck 👍
Safety first 😷💯
Another badass Camaro 69 baby
Nice burnout. Wish I could hear it, but the music volume is way to high. Sweet car. Great video.
Another LS in a classic YAWN
Finally got a different host on weak to wicked!

Bruh the video ain't even been around for 5 minutes and you watched 30 minutes of it already lol, did u time travel?? 😂
It's probably been up on MTOD
@@bradenmorrison9834 yes I have
@@DerickZ28 mhm
This is a 1969 camaro but all the parts are brand new. Was there anything made in 1968-1969 on this project?
Need to learn to use a rubber mallet instead of a steel hammer to avoid hitting the body lol
TIL: My impact is also my torque wrench. Hi Mom!
Wouldn't a Roadster Shop chassis or something similar (Art Morrison) brought better results?
Your cohort is missing. Nice build,
We release Copyright Free Music every Sunday & Wednesday for all content creators to use + we have a 24/7 live radio!
Is it really a "build" if you open boxes o parts you finagled for free and bolt them on the car?
Agreed.
I'm not sure I'd call this a 'build' as much as an assembly. That car was clearly built already with extensive mods and body work.
What do you guys do with the cars when you are finished?
what happened to "no burnouts in the parking lot"?
A friend of mine did a black on yellow paint job on his VW bus back in the day. My sister made him bumble bee curtains. So when can I expect delivery of my Super Bee?
Where did the body come from? I would like to start something like this with a Mustang Mach I. Cleveland or Windsor.
IDK Where to find any bodies to start from though. Are there kits?
I you can weld you can start with a coupe and buy a fastback conversion kit
Search for "1969 mustang fastback body" on Google and go from there...
Awesome stuff, but its about time you guys stated using metric like the rest of the world
Never.
Using a crescent wrench on an axle nut? WTF
Shouldve done a 4l80e
Bring roadkill back or I'm going to make the Boston massacre look like a tea party
Yo what is that hole saw attachment? That was so quick...
why tubular front control arms instead of the standard front control arms??? every new component or part retrofitted (in the event the original components & spares are not available) to any classic car gradually diminishes the originality of the car's lineage!!! the tubular front arms is just one of those not so original but will do component!!!
Tubular handles better. Stock arms are way too flimsy..
Nothing on that car is original lol
car is paint and ready put on took more than a week
Do you have part numbers on the 4 link?
What happened to the funny white guy?
White guys are being deleted these days 😂
What drill bits you guys use too?
Was this mini tubbed?
Wow, last time i was this early the alamo was still around...
Edit: first btw
Christian Arriero de que pais eres tienes pinta de Chileno, saludos!
Parts and money (more money).
Was this build built upon a full chasis?
LOL, Anyone who's fairly handy could easily achieve this, given the same seemingly unlimited budget. Meanwhile, in the real world, I need to fix my 30 year old vice grips before I can continue my project....
Get to it stop being lazy
Some guy had their air intake in the air .
You should've done the owner a favor and relocated the fuel filler neck
Not big on resto-mod stuff (and unlimited budgets.) Better if you rehab a 69 Camaro Z/28 with nearly stock parts.
When the hairy guy copped to messing up the electrics you could tell the other tech was on his last nerve. Gotta say the hairy guy instills as much faith as a work release JIffy Luber.
What's the song at @24:00??
Make sure you bridge the two upper radiator hoses with stainless. Corrosion is not our friend.
Hey motor trend I've got an idea for your show on motor trend on demand called auto/biography cold cases so for episodes go into car smuggling made by the Chinese triads and japanese Yakuza as well as Russian Mafia in NYC and Albanian mafia also stories about getaway driver stories both in the USA and Europe
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Does he have a ziptie instead of a hairtie?
43:11 Jesus Christ 😁
Do you have a moter trend car for sale?
No budget and you decided not to go with rack and pinion?
If the position of the rad support was dependent on the engine that would mean you would have to have different fenders for the different engines as well. How about educating your people before spewing misinformation? That sub frame was designed for F and X body cars and those additional holes were probably there for Nova and Firebird applications.
Yeah they made up for the distance from the engine to the radiator on the early camaro with the fan shroud. The fan shroud for the sbc looked freakishly long.
14:1 steering box?
that aint quick...
Now I know what I should have been doing for my career. Too late now.
So thats a 50.000$ Build ?
Well, it's a multiple of 50,000.
not a fan of the front sub the same color. satin black...
🤞🤞🤞🤞
Don't you mean "WEAK," and not "week" ???
nice, wish i had 100k to throw at a camaro...
Did i just see some " behind the scenes" guy show a " presenter" what to do only to less the 30 secconds later to say into the camera exactly what the " behind the scenes" guys say to him??? Not really impressed guys. Sorry
crazy build, horrible color
Not once did i hhear a dugger dugger.. you sure its tight?
car its ok but drill holes after painting smells amateur job every weld cut and drill job must be done before painting ,just like profesionals
Another 'Warren Buffet build' that no regular human could possibly afford to do without all the parts being sponsored, as they were here. Hopefully all the freebies from the sponsors were worth it for them. Call me cynical. Go ahead.
I will literally find all of you if you domt make it free again.
That's the ugliest yellow I've ever seen.
I have always hated that color.
Nope. Don’t watch masks!
Tried to watch…masks are too annoying….👎
Yep, face diapers completely ruined the video
I’m not trying to be a jerk. And the car is absolutely amazing. But just like all my other favorite car shows during kungflu, the masks are just too much. I truly hope none of these fabricators that worked on this were affected by it or maybe had a lived one die of course.
Thumbed down for mask wearing. Political correct bullshit.
