I really enjoy watching your videos thx Keith 👍🏻 I pull over out of traffic to watch them ever time... so interesting and very contagious which is a good thing!

@@jeremyanthony9300 Probably about 5... The old push rod 3.3 and 3.8s were very good mills ( early 1s had cam bearing issues that destroyed the blocks ) If that is the OE engine, the misfire is most likely a burned exhaust valve or cracked seat ( if not an ignition issue)
PICO is crazy good. Your well on your way to getting this one fixed. I purchased the Hantek 1008C and I can not get it to display a CAN signal to save my live.
You are correct, back probing is the correct way. When hiring a new tech. I always put a back probe and a wire piercing tools on the table. I ask the prospective hire wich one they would use to troubleshoot electrical problems. Backprobe = job, wire pierces =no hire.
Hey great video Keith. Nice tip on the voltage sense pid. Seriously brother the amount of info u have stored in that brain is amazing. Stay safe
Even when the car doesn’t fail I like seeing the tools you use how you use them and your thought process thanks

Dang 266k miles! That's a 3.8 V6 though...you think the Pentastar 3.6 can go the same distance Keith?
I have never seen an fca with 266k on it. How many transmissions has that car gone through

I wonder if driving it with that cyl 1 misfire gets the cat nice and warm and really gets those under-hood temps hot.

Hi, why do you despise back-probing? I know a lot of people feel strongly against piercing the wire. I'm interested in your perspective. Thanks!
