I would love to see these cameras offer 180 shooting without having to manually set up the camera to 180. But happy to see that DJI is doing constant firmware updates.
@@EddieStudios No. i'm referring to the 180 rule wher if you shoot at 30fps your shutter speed should be at 60... thats the 180 rule... i know cinema cameras have this, makes it easier and a set it and forget it setting. If you choose 60 fps, the camera automatically sets your shutter at 120... etc....
@DTUFINOPhotography I know what you mean. I don't expect them to add that ever. The only camera I've had that on was a Sony Xperia 1iii smart phone🤣. It's using "Shutter Angle" instead of "Shutter Speed". It's not common for companies to add it in anything under $3k
They should have had a 3rd button on the camera to use for switching gimbal mode as in the pocket 2. I think now it's impossible to use any of the current button to cycle the gimbal modes. Triple tap is the standard way to turn the camera around on every gimbal so I doubt they would change that. Also triple tapping to cycle between modes is quite uncomfortable too.
That's true. On a full-size gimbal, they usually have it be a triple tap, but on the trigger button. I wish there was one extra button, but I know that's not possible with a firmware update.🤣
I wouldnt really call these "new featres" as much as I would call them things that should have been included in the first place if they didn't rush the camera out. Let's be honest 10 bit should have been on normal profiles when it was sent out as well as on 120. The microphone backup with mic 2 should have been as well. But as usual they are rushed out and we beta test for them and have to pay for it. Well, youtubers don't but we do. Now that things have settled down we can see what DJI missed but are playing off as new features lol. Oh! And the auto mic shut off. Come on! Their highlight control and color science needs some work.
I would agree. I am a photographer by nature so I always leave enough space to in my videos if I have to, or I am aware of shooting in my rule of thirds. But I can certainly see where this could help me possibly. But the rest of the stuff is or should not be a "new feature" these are things one should expect. I don't expect Canon to come out and be like hey! We offered grids on your 1DX mark iii, i expect them to be there OR that I should know how to frame a photo right in camera the first time. lol @@EddieStudios
"if they didn't rush the camera out." .... it took 3 years to come out. you're all new adopters and it's only been on the market for a month!.... there will be more and more firmware updates. they cannot cover every single base and part of testing is getting feed back from consumers.
Also, they need a gimbal lock forward option. And the ability to turn down the audio gains on main microphones. Oh, and why didnt they include audio monitors like they have when the mic 2 is on? lol
I'm really stuck on getting the gimbal modes added to a quick select option! What are your thoughts?
Needs vertical video in 4K. I cant find the record button in the dark. It needs some sort of texture on the button so I know where it is in the dark.
They need to fix the livestream audio for mic2 to UA-cam… it works fine on Facebook but glitchy audio distortion on UA-cam 👎
Weird. I haven't tried yet. 😕

Are you talking about the panoramic mode? Do you just want a way to get to it more easily?

@@EddieStudios Oh I know... wishful thinking.. my r5C has it, my EOS r5 does not. lol
@DTUFINOPhotography it's good to have dreams!🤞😁

I like the referance lines for the 2.35:1 aspect ratio. Most high-end cameras don't have that.
I agree. That's a nice feature.
Why is that aspect ratio good to have?

I agree with this analysis. Although, the 2.35:1 isn't something we get internally even on most mirrorless cameras. So that's a nice addition.

@adz-ql6kv consumer feed back is key! That's why I keep mentioning the gimbal mode thing. 😆 hint hint DJI...😁
