Just ordered mine. Nothing's perfect first go around but the camera has been out a year, there's a plethora of youtubers who all made videos about how the lack of zoom sucks and if only there could be a zoom lens. Only one went put and fucking did it. That's badass. 🤘

Does this have the same smell issue with the Lensgo? My lensgo have a very strong burnt plastic smell after running for 3-4 minutes.

I had this lens and I had a problem with it. I am curious if you have a better unit. Between 85mm and 105mm autofocus was realy bad, both stills and video. What are your thoughts? I used it for events like classical music recitals in university hall.

This is a cool much needed addition for the pocket 3 and I hope you get enough revenue to take it to the next level. I am wondering why couldn't the glass be wider to get rid of the vignetting? I hope you make a video with even more sample shots. You should definitely show us how it looks fully zoomed out to be fully informed on the product.

I love to see people innovate and come up with something unique but I gotta say, the quality from this isn't up to par IMHO. You are degrading the image first of all by using the 2x digital zoom on the Pocket 3 then degrading it further with cheap optics and the end result isn't anything close to the quality that the Pocket 3 is capable of. Best of luck on your endeavor however!

Ever heard about lens design? Zemax, Lumerical, etc? Well, they exist for a reason..

No disrespect to you, You're presenting this as innovation, but to be honest, it sounds like you're just asking people to "zoom in slightly" to fix the issue. So essentially, you've created a product full of flaws, and now you're spinning those flaws into features like light leaks and other issues; I mean, at least your honest, but do not turn them into features you can see clearly the product full of flaws with all those light leaks. This might be the reason those Chinese brands haven’t made this lens yet.

Recent update. The app still sucks. You can't trim the videos down through the app. Well, you can... But the video doesn't actually trim. So when you download the footage, it downloads it at the original file size. It's awful. Imagine wanting to download a 10 second clip but having to download the entire 4 min clip in 4k. I've sent my Action 4 back and will try GoPro.
