When I started on this journey 7 years ago, there were 2 things I definitely planned on. 1) It would take me 7 (SEVEN!!!!) years. 2) I would finish during a pandemic. Yeah.
Top quality work from start to finish. I hope your channel gets the recognition it deserves. I have the feeling the pandemic will start to bring more exposure and so many will benefit from your incredible efforts. You deserve a break for a while though!!
I am so happy I found you. I decided to skip AP physics all together and jump straight into AP physics c next year so the accessibility and organization of all knowledge is amazingly helpful. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for what you do. You helped me in high school to pass the AP Physics 1 exam, and you helped me further in college in reviewing topics for my mechanics physics class. Even now, I continue to rely on your videos to review physics topics I covered a long time ago. Your demonstrations and explanations are amazingly clear, and your enthusiasm for physics shines in every video. Again, thank you so much for helping me and many other physics students.
Congrats! Long time admirer, first time commenter. Huge fan of the quality and production of your videos. A true inspiration to all of us who flip (and those who don't). Well done, sir!
Wow, well done Mr P. Congratulations! These are really high production value videos that take a ton of time. Outstanding value in these visually rich and content rich tutorials. Hats off!!!!
I took honor physics a year ago but don't remember everything. Is it better to watch your "AP Physics Everything" or "AP Physics 1 Review" playlist in order to score a 5 on the AP exam? Thanks for all the great videos!! - a new sub.
I'd start with AP Physics 1 Review and then pick and chose from either: www.flippingphysics.com/ap-physics-1.html and/or www.flippingphysics.com/ap-physics-1-review.html for topics you are struggling with. Best of luck on Wednesday!
I had Mr. P in high school for physics. His teaching style is extremely memorable. I'm personally not a physics guy but this man made it interesting. Which speaks volumes to me. When I have kids one day, I will show them this channel for their physics classes. Hope to see continue growing and striving and reaching more kids who need help in this important subject. Thank you for Mr. P. Blessings- Shawn
I am definitely posting your videos for my students to watch. I am in Oregon and we are out of school until the end of April at the soonest. These videos are invaluable. I appreciate the time and effort you have put into them. I do have to say that my students think it is hilarious that you and I have never met, but we do oh so many things the exact same way in class. You are like my East Coast mini-me. You are much younger however. lol
I’m so happy for you! These video helped me get through college as a physics major. I plan on going to grad school to study educational research on physics. I’ve heard about a study where a school taught energy in physics first and then moved on to kinematic since energy is easier to work with since they are scalars. For my undergrad senior project, I may try to convince my AP physics teacher to restructure the class this way (with my help, of course) and hopefully we’ll get good results.
Hi! I just wanted to thank you for your awesome help. I'm actually self educating in physics because my school doesn't have a program until the last 2 years, but I really like it, so thank you for this possibility!
Man that is a lot of videos! I'm going to have a lot to watch before May 7th (or maybe later?). I'm happy to say I got to 1:36 before I started hearing about a bunch of new stuff. I can't believe how much I have learned from you and my physics teacher.
It's insane that I have learned a lot as well last year and this semester and there's still a lot to go. I probably won't study Physics in college ,but it's cool to learn new things.
I only recently discovered your channel and, wow, for you to put in so much effort into teaching this well and for free is very noble. Question: Will you ever try to cover AP Physics 2 and C fully like AP Physics 1 in the future? I am a high school student who is interested in learning about these but my high school doesn't offer courses for them as of now, so I would really appreciate it if you did.
Do you have similar videos for AP Physics C? I’m in IB HL physics right now, but my calculus background motivated me to take both AP Physics C E&M and Mechanics this year along with my IB exam.
I have review videos for APC: Mechanics: www.flippingphysics.com/ap-physics-c-review.html I have in-class lecture notes for both APC courses: www.flippingphysics.com/calculus.html
Really when i step to my first yr i was so fond of physics but later on all the teachers who i met made me to hate ,and in my 2 nd yr i am so scared of p6 ,i thought it will damage my whole results and i may lose my medical seat but now a days i am again started to show interest on p6 while looking at ur videos and i expect more and more plzzzz will uuuuuuu, here it is very esay to understand the concepts and very much clr, thank you so much.and frm srilanka discuss our exam tooooo
The thing I hate about physics (1) is the “simplification” to Algebra. I personally don’t believe algebra based physics should be a thing. Conceptual physics with math simplification is okay. It should either be conceptual or calculus.
If you could (and want to) maybe you could indulge in the curriculums of other countries like what you're doing with NEET and JEE (although physics is UNIVERSAL)
Ultimately, when I have time, I would like to simply create webpages for various curricula. The physics is the same, however, the exact topics covered do vary.
What will be your next project? You have inspired several of my lessons here in Italy, I am also using them during this period that the schools are closed because of the Coronavirus, thanks to this my students can remain on track with this year’s curriculum
First off, I am honored to be able to help in any way I can. It brings me chills to know this. Thanks for telling me. These videos are a labor or love. Not sure what exactly I will be working on next. I still have a few videos I want to make for AP1 and I've been letting other commitments slide for several months in order to get this done. Then there's the pandemic. We will see what happens next. But do not worry, I'll keep making physics videos.
Agreed. When I started this 7 years ago, I definitely thought to myself, "If I time this just right, I can complete the curriculum during a global pandemic!"
Now what is AP? We have british education system and most of the topics that your cover was in our first year of HSSC(higher secondary school certificate) .Please also make electromagnetism lenz law faraday law and and impedance triangle and time dilation length contraction de broglie hypothesis and photoelectric effect heisnberg uncertainity principle and much more. Any way I really appreciate your work.May God give you more strenght.😊
I would LOVE to make videos on all of these topics. In case you missed it, the quality of my videos necessitates a lot of work. I only have so much time...

True. The Advanced Placed (AP) curricula are something done by The CollegeBoard in The United States. It's just a common set of curricula which have tests at the end. There is a large overlap between AP Physics and the JEE/NEET curricula, however, they are not complete mirrors of one another. Which is why those topics are currently not here. They will be eventually though.
It was an educated guess considering your lack of knowledge of AP and the topics you pointed out are not in the AP Physics 1 Curriculum. I could be wrong though...

Thanks for thanking me so much later!
Congratulations on completion of an impressive body of work. You put a joy into it which is infectious!
Thank you sir!!
That's a Huge Effort which will live forever
Thanks, man we hope you continue to finish Ap physics C & Some of modern physics
I sure hope it will live forever!
I do plan to cover those topics. Do not know exactly when yet.
Wow, well done Mr P. Congratulations! These are really high production value videos that take a ton of time. Outstanding value in these visually rich and content rich tutorials. Hats off!!!!
