This performance was the first time I was exposed to Morrissey. The next day I went looking for the album that had this song on it, and I couldn't find it - until two years later when he actually released it.

I have loved this man's music since I was 13...and now I'm 36! Saw him live for the first and only time in 1992 on the Your Arsenal tour. I'm going to see him in concert soon and I'm giddy like a teenager!!

I still have not seen a better live version of this song than the one on this show.

As much as I like this song, I can't imagine hearing this Morrissey before hearing the Smiths. My first exposure was a buddy with the compilation "The World Won't Listen", and it completely change the direction of my interest in music. Before that it was mostly Tool, The Beatles and Heatmiser, but then it was almost exclusively the Smiths for a good year.

No, Morrissey has been performing this song since 2002. A recorded version of this song wasn't available until 2004.
