Man I loved Chris Harris in the early TNA. I remember him in the first ever King Of the Mountain match. I also think he would of been BIG in WCW if they wouldn’t have closed. (He was in WCW in 2001)
I have needed this interview in my life for along time I was a huge Chris Harris fan and the knock knock braydon walker thing always gutted me glad to see he's looking well and comes off as a good guy who was put in a shitty position.
Harris and a lot of local Nashville wrestlers were apart of R&B security ( Russo and Bischoff) in 2000 . I seen them wrestling on WCW Worldwide on Saturday mornings in the summer of 2000- March 12th 2022
I actually wish Chris had been given more of a singles run, his splitting with James Storm meant we got beer money, what would have been cool would have been Chris in a singles run and then James Storm and Booby Roode as the tag team he teams with occasionally, like ric flair and the andersons.
Its a shame that such a talent was buried right off the get go when he signed with "New York" . It seems that every TNA alumni in the beginning that went over to "da E" would get buried asap. Same thing happened to Monty Brown. Im glad that AJ Styles was able to break that curse and become a huge player in WWE and even becoming a multi time champion for them.
@@blacksabbath2024 Storm actually left because of the pay. He told HHH he understood the pay just that TNA was willing to pay him more otherwise he would stay. HHH understood and was fine with it.
I'm usually not the guy who would defend corporations and billionaires, but come god damn on! Dude got chubby and soft, had a deer in a headlight stare right on the face suitable for a good game of poker, blew up the biggest opportunity of his life and now that's all WWE's fault!
im glad Chris is doing good....I always thought him and James were such a good tag team..............oh, by the way...........TNA asked AJ Styles to take a 50% PAY CUT.....................that's how they did business over there.........
After hearing this interview I now stand and salute every person who says a knock knock joke. I don’t know why that is but I really think it’s overdue and that others should join in. #knockknockGANG
He fumbled the ball man. I was excited about him going there but when I saw how out of shape he was I got disappointed. If he wasn't gonna take it seriously then nobody would take him seriously. Unless he had some health issue that made him gain weight or be incapable of working out he dropped the ball
Daryl hall it's people like you that are the reason aew exists and shitty wrestlers get pushed you'll make excuses for anything you accept and eat shit willingly and like it
I understand WWE not wanting to use his old gimmick and name but Braden Walker is the best they had? They could have let him keep the name Harris and maybe use James as his first name as like a nod to his past and that name sounds a lot better, James Harris. As for a gimmick you could have had him be an old school style wrestler, he mentioned paying homage to Mr Perfect, so why not something like The Wrestling Machine James Harris
As a huge fan of James Storm, the Wildcat had a higher ceiling. It's a shame what happened to both of these guys' careers. They had a good run, but they both could've done so much more. Don't blame Chris for telling Dixie and TNA what they can do with their paycut. Good for him
Wood paneling in his house! Great to see all that WWE money was well spent. Sure he's still living off of those Braden Walker residuals. Money just rolling in on the best gimmick in WWE history
He says he wanted to work, but he showed up in WWE in the shape he was in? Dude needs to take a hard look in the nirror if he actually believes WWE is to blame.
He reminds me of the other 2 guys, it wasn't generation next that was the bucks I think, anyway ones a chiropractor now the other is Chase Stevens they had a good run in the indies. But most the southern boys didn't get treated right in the WWE. Although there are some that were. The Armstrong's made their way there.
I still have my Braden Walker 3 disc DVD, one of best purchases I ever made.
One of my favorite wrestling DVD's behind "The best matches of Scotty Goldman"
I just picked mine up. Best 300 bucks I have ever spent
@Golf club holy shit man… I can’t believe it was that cheap at one point they’re going for $3.2 million now!!!!!
It’s right up there with the Rise and Fall of ECW
I was there when he was inducted in the hof

yes, TNA from 02 to 06 was fantastic in general

I miss Chris Harris. I considered him to be the next HBK at the time.
I was a huge Wild Cat fan during his best years. His Braden Walker character became a UA-cam Icon with the fake 3 disc dvd set commercial.😋😂

During an OSW episode, him standing on the ramp with his hands on his hips broke them. “You just debuted!”
You can't have a GOAT discussion without throwing Braden Walker into the mix.
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED Reunion in NWA would be Awesome!!
Knock knock!
I remember watch Chris Harris v Jeff Jarrett for the NWA world title in the early days of TNA. Brilliant match!
That was in March 2004- March 12th 2022
Chris ate his way out of the WWE

great team w harris. there matches against machine guns were classic
awesome interview
I just remember Chris Harris as wildcat Chris Harris from Georgetown Kentucky in the mid-90s

Monty Brown didn't get buried from the beginning. He was winning most of his singles matches and tag matches as part of the New Breed.
@@SuperHyphyOne His sister died and he quit to take care of her kids and family..

He was out of shape and his in-ring work stuff didn't look great. Pritchard has confirmed that McMahon took one look and pulled the plug.
