This happens to me. It lags tons more if you have wifi on (especially if you have only just turned it on) I think the android is partly to blame, considering it is not exactly the newest and Sony haven't updated it to the next android to fix the lag. Did you used to have problems with app links not working, but working when placing the link on one of the pages again?
i bought this phone a year ago and it works great in 4-5 months.. after that it started to fuck out.. i found that the power button didnt lock my phone, its just sleep my phone without unlocking it although i had turn on the security pattern.. ive sent this phone 3 times to the company for repair and its all about the same reason.. now , my phone's power button didnt work anymore.. then i decided to download the 'Shake Screen On Off Free' to lock and unlock my phone.. for ur guys info, just dont buy this phone.. its sucks a lot T.T
I have this Xperia Miro and i can play Subway Surfers and NFS Shift smoothly... i use it with no lags, no Root, no funny script enhancements, no aplication enhancements....Still now i dont want to root and add some enhancements on this phone because my warranty still available. first phone i ever overclocked to play gta3 still had to reduce resolution. also instaled beats audio. it only has 800mhz single core cpu i managed to overclock to 1.1ghz. i loved that phone

I just got the phone and I really like it! It's very light, thin, it makes great photos and is relatively easy to work with ^^ Totally worth the cost and it wasn't even pricey!!! :D:D:D
Yeah, that is my first phone, a Siemens phone, the display colors is only black and white and I still remembered that it cost RM0.20 to send a text message. Now it's only RM0.01 or RM0.005 in my country.
i was thinking the same, until i actually hold it in my hand the bottom part actually make it really comfortable wwhen you're using the phone in ladscape mode (it makes it harder to drop the phone)
have u noticed through that sony uses only a few different types of processors clocked at specific frequencies so as to reduce the amount of coding they have to do, this makes the os more optimized for the hardware, therefore it runs smoother. If they were to use a faster cpu it had to be the novathor u8500 and maybe that was a bit too much for the budget, u can always get an xperia u
i have lumia currently n not extremly impressed ... xperia u reviews say that the sound starts to crack .... shud i get miro? seems alright but i dnt want to be dissapointed again ...
what do you xpect .. its a vga camera .. for skyping .. ok .. so so quality .. just so you know ... the phone hangs up if you have quite a decent number of apps .. and when you are on wifi ... it hangs up even more(from connection phase to like 15 or 20 seconds) ... frankly speaking .. i had to disable a bunch of bloatware to get it to function smoothly ... i do not recommend this .. try going for xperia SP but its xpensive than miro but you wont regret it .. best of luck !

the only 2 things that makes the Ray better are the screen resolution and the design.... I think you should buy Miro, or you can buy a good memory card to go with the Ray
there are certain things that are expected and needed ... and to cash into smart phone unable to deliver the fluent operation .. i doubt your attitude towards the phone will be same after a month ..
so..? Sony/Sony Ericsson has been making phones that have the volume rocker buttons on the right side from the days they started ( except forr somes like the w580 or the w205) and it makes you feel like a real camera with the zoom button on the same side with the shutter button
U is better than miro in all other specs but the only bad thing about U is that it only has 8 gb (about 4gb available to the user) and it cannot be extended via a memory card..except for the memory, U is way better
i think u shall go on sony xperia miro, sony is a good quality, also htc is good quality, both brand is made in japan, both are great, but i think xperia miro has a bit low price than htc desire c, and xperia has alot features than htc(depends on phone) but go for xperia.. display, camera, design, led notification lights, good battery(than desire c, not sure) of xperia miro is surely awesome!

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is more expensive, but much better. If you want to buy a mid-range smartphone with a lot of features, take the Ace 2. But when you want a cheaper smartphone with less specs, choose the Xperia Miro. Sorry for my bad English... I hope I have helped you.
My sis has the L5 - the screen is very mediocre: you can almost count pixels. Other than that it's a good phone, it doesn't suffer from too much of hiccups. But I think I'd go for the Miro.
Specs don't mean anything :P Its all about the benchmarks. For ex: A Quad Core i5 Intel can match up with a AMD 8-CORE Bulldozer. Running Temple Run and Minecraft smoothly is impressive already at the speeds its clocked at.
I think you can buy a better smartphone with the budget, I think you should try Sony Xperia U... It has a better quantity of pixels and a better RAM memory and internal memory vs Sony Xperia Miro and Samsung Galaxy Ace. So my recomendation is Sony Xperia U.
Some help please! I can't decide between miro and go (or maybe U). this is better in performance, lcd size, better quality of pictures and video's (5mpx with 720p recording cap.), almost the same price had mini 2 for a month or 2, it was good but this is surely better in all aspects
well i had the exact same thought between the u and the miro , with the u and the miro is that the u has an inbuild memory and that only goes up to 8gb , well i am getting a new phone for my birthday and its definetly the miro because it dont have an inbuild memory , so it basicually just depence if you store a lot of things , or a person that likes to get a lot of apps :) ( cant answer the question with the optimus 17 )

If anybody is looking for a great budget phone, I recommend the moto g. It has a load of good reviews. It is also one of the few phones with the latest android. The Sony Xperia Miro isn't that good. It has very low memory (which is not good for someone who likes apps and likes installing lots of apps on their ohine). It lags a lot with wifi on (it lags even more when you only just turn the wifi on). It isn't even scratch resistant like it said (I learnt this the hard way- 2 scratches that really bug me because they are in the top half of the phone). The only good point is it a touchscreen phone that has the main features a smartphone needs to be classified as a smartphone).
Forgot to add another point- their so called "customer care service" takes ages to reply (talking a week or so- maybe it was even two weeks) and is not even helpful

im a sony person but for this one, id have to say l5, used it and its okay. if you want gaming, the miro is actually better.

You should buy the Xperia U. The only problem is only 4gb and doesn't support micro SD expansion slot.

the procceor is a little bit slower but it doesn't show any lags in games lik gta 3 and shadowgun
It cracks maybe because they put the volume too high? Either way you should get a phone that suits your needs.
