- very basic tutorial on how to create a female skin for Resident Evil 4 (Ubisoft Version). this mod doesn't support behead animation, to make things easier

thank you for your comment.. for the inventory sounds, you can download the White Day Sound Effects Mod here (www.nexusmods.com/residentevil4/mods/158), edit/convert/replace the audio using Audacity software.. the audio format must be "ogg" to be used in RE4. it's very easy to modding audio😁

I've never modded anything like this before but im will to try it out because the possibilities are endless! plus it looks so cool.
Now as for the sound I do have one question, does the audio need to be named in any way
Like gunshots would they have their own label, voice lines, pick ups etc.. ? or is it more of trial and error. Again thank you for these I wish more people could find this video it's been super helpful and so have you! :D
(a little extra question) Is there a difference between the disk and digital edition, I'm using the old cd and sometimes these mod tools have trouble finding the .exe Like with the 4gb ram patch

@@kinggamer19 yes, the audio need to be named in specific way, but first u have to extract the audios using this tool so u will know all the audio names (GCA EXTRACTOR) mega.nz/file/sugAkTKT#7TWQYn4Toj7oJDkKew-XNKGmo5V0FfTbqINlp8HWLeA .. in ur RE4 folder there is a file named ogg.dat. change the ogg.dat to ogg.gca so the software can find the file, wait for a minute then the ogg folder will appear. don't forget to rename the ogg.gca to ogg.dat again

in this video i named the file pl0b0a.pmd (Ada Merc).. simply just rename to pl000a.pmd (Leon Jacket) and pl080a.pmd (Leon Jacketless)
you can download my Scathach mod for Leon so you can use it as a guide to know the location of the file

Unfortunately we don't have much of that. I understand that this need disposition and motivation. Even more so for something that is not so easy, even though it may seem easy after learning.
I hate two things, applying textures and aligning arms.😁 Fortunately Blender helps with texture application.
I didn't know you could convert png textures to tga inside blender. This is good because it avoids opening another program just for that.

i hope it will. i get you, applying textures sometimes can be a bit tiring, it depends on the model, but blender can sort it out.

I'm having issues, when I enter the game the character appears all bugged, as it the ADA and ENAMI textures were overlaid, I have no idea what to do, I think it's caused when I use RIGOMATIC, I extracted xfile from gca and I took the pl0b0a.pmd, converted to smd, opened in Milkshape, and so I grayed it all, and then I putted it on RIGOMATIC, and above I putted my ENAMI Milkshape model to 'rig" it, and i converted to pmd. What should I do?
I solved it. I just forget to mark the PMD2SMD flip vertically box, for those who is having this same problem, just mark that box and verify that tga files are 1024 x 1024.

I didn't know that you were converted the image in the Blender.
It's great , because I can not use Blender well like you.
In my case , I convert/copy tga textures with a batch by "Xnview for Windows".
(Xnview can use options when converting, for example vertical inversion)
And I open .obj or .smd by Hex editor and replace text(png ,dds etc) into tga.
If transparency is not converted well , I edit it individually.
Anyway I will introduce your video to two Japanese beginners.
I was asked if there was such a tutorial video.
i was using ghetto language a little bit :D i'm not familiar with Xnview, but i know a bit about Hex Editor. aside from Blender i also use Paint NET

It is a .smd model data.
You can get it by converting pl0b0a.pmd into .smd format.
(use pmd-smd conveter when converting. It's is a modder's tool.)

I tried according to the tutorial you gave, but, I didn't use the 3d model with xps format but ojb, everything is perfect except for one thing, namely, the texture turns white, I came to the conclusion that the TGA image is unreadable.

One question I have, how do I modify the hand? because I did everything right but the hand sometimes comes out of the arm or even does not match the character and I try to modify but the texture is all wrong, how do I fix this?
hi, i'm sorry for the late reply. this is the folder for the hand (girl hand) files. this is for Leon (with jacket).. you can easily rename it, for example, if you want the hand for this Ada (mercenaries), just rename the "rh00" to "pl0brh00"..
"rh" is the right hand & "lh" is the left hand
for some reason when doing this for leon's model, the jacket, face and gloves remain together with the model i made
download my Zhongli mod, it will fix that
Thanks for the tutorial! It gave me a good start on my first attempt except I went with using Ruby Rose Paladin model.
It went okay to say the least after testing on Ashley's model, but the issue I come across was one of her attire below her legs or thighs seem to stretch up to her neck and giving jiggle effect too when I walk around or run.
Is there a way to fix this?
Nevermind, I found out the issue had to do with previous files of .DAT from Ada's mercenary outfit that I used earlier which is the cause of stretching the texture of the Ruby's model up to her neck etc. Once i did a clean slate and tried again, her model is good now...almost. The only thing that bothers me is mostly the physics of her upper thighs and that issue has to do with Ashley's normal costume having a skirt that has that physics.
I know you probably won't reply back to this since video is old, but the fact that it's here is still very helpful. Have a good day!
What does that "Born_04" mean that you assigned to her hair what are the Meaning of those settings????
2.79 the only preferred version of blender or is the updated versions alright ?
i suggest you use 2.79 because the updated versions have some differences

So I used Born_4 on my Sheriff Woody mody his head is now fixed but how do I fix his chest it's still Glitching ou and when I use Born_04 on his chest his body is fixed and moves around but is fixed in T-Pose are there some Explanation Somewhere on those "Born" settings and what they mean??

milkshape is to assign the bones of the model's body, in the video i showed how to assign the head (born_04) so the model's head can move, and milkshape can import the model to smd whilst blender can't

Heloo permission to ask, if the model is put together like that with the head, will the head break off when hit by a chainsaw? If you make a model like that, it should be without hands and without a head
the head will not break off, this is a simple tutorial.. the tutorial would be long if i added that method

One more thing, I've tried editing the model with a separate head, first rigging the model without head and hands, then secondly rigging the model with just the head, it can be entered into the game And the model worked perfectly, BUT!, the neck transparent🥲 do you have any ideas on how to solve it or do you know how to solve this problem?

hello, thank you for your comment. to extract in game models such as Leon or other characters you can use this tool (GCA extractor) mega.nz/file/K0kDDADB#7iJB5wg66exWXb6BqYnhcQVIk0efptJmmYlqYrvVsJ4
first, you need to rename the xfile.dat (in your game directory) to xfile.gca, then open GCA : click file -> extract file -> same as input folder / output to folder (your choice). after that xfile folder will be there, you just have to open the folder : xfile -> em. the leon models location are pl00, pl08, pl09, pl10 & pl19 (you can read the Model List.txt i shared in description to know which Leon with jacket or other outfits), the textures for the models are also included in each folders which are TGA files

When i checked, everything looked alright expect for the model not having the hands, and using the face of Ada, and that was clipping with Excella's head Hahahah, was is this mistake? is there a way of fixing it? you did this for mercenaries and the whole model changed correctly, i wonder why it didnt work form e in Separate ways? plz help!.
you need to create pl0c folder. pl0c folder is for assignment ada, separate ways ada's head model linked to assignment ada's head model
anyway, you can download this mod here to get the correct hand and for the example pl0c folder

I checked the Model List Txt you provided friend, and it states that Assigment Ada's head is linked to Ada's Mercenaries head, so If I also rig and make new head for Ada in mercenaries its gonna replace assigment ada and separate ways's head? its a bit confusing how this game choses to use and re-use model files hahahh
@@bjishcontact4308 umm.. no, actually separate ways ada's head is linked to assignment ada's head only, not the mercenaries one. the mercenaries is separated, you can make different ada mod for the mercenaries, it won't change anything for separate ways & assignment ada 😊

yes it can, 16500 is low faces. the faces of Enami model i imported to Milkshape is around 34926 faces (you can see the number on Blender)
