I love how you always find the easiest way to do something! I've watched lots of great videos -- but YOUR videos by far make the most sense, achieve wonderful results, and are WAY EASIER than other videos I see!!
Hey Andrea - I love the way you installed the zipper. Genius! Also like the way you hid the zipper on the back of the pillow. I usually just make the middle overlap and not use a zipper. My next pillow will have the zipper like your pillow. Already have the fabric and pillow forms just need to make sure I have a zipper that will work. Thanks for this genius idea. My outdoor pillows will now be secured with a zipper. 💖💖💖 love it!!!!! You are so creative. Can't wait until the next video. XO Pam
You are welcome Pam! Thank you for bringing up the outdoor pillows. I really need to sew new covers for ours and love the idea of incorporating a zipper closure on those as well! Happy sewing! Andrea P.S. I picked up my Coats 14" zippers at Walmart for less than $2.
thank you so much, this is exactly the style that I was looking for!!! Doing my happy dance lol Your tutorial is excellent, cant wait to see more of the series, Again many thanks for sharing this with us
Thank you for this video! Was wondering if I missed something. When you decided on the thread color for these pillow covers, did you use two different colors?
Hello Tonya! I normally sew with a neutral cream colored thread and as such rarely change or match the thread to the project. In this case, I may have selected a nice navy to match. Would need to rewatch the video to be sure.
