Hi Leon, You mentioned that you completed your first marathon. Where was that and what was your time? 2nd question is, when will your dads book be published. Thanks to you both for doing the shows and I really enjoy your podcasts and I always get refreshed and also learn some new skills.

Hi Dr, Kirby, thank you for listening to our father/son conversations - glad they’ve been giving you insight and refreshment!
      On the marathon:
I had a very modest 5hr finish. Looking to have another crack and bag a sub 4 one day!
      On the book:
It’s set to be released in 2025. More details to come!
      Leon

Good Aftn DS Idris & Leon. Based on the theory & practical examples discussed in this Episode, both Endurance & Resilience are LEARNED SKILLS rather than Innate Traits. Its a groundswell for an increase in the Motivation & Mindset. Thus it can be viewed as an opportunity to develop a " Growth Mindset" viewing Challenges as Opportunities. Tq

there are parts from this episode that made me recall phrases from the book [Atomic Habit], like focus on the process (mentioned as "system" in the book) while the result & outcome will yield itself, and there's a chapter that solely mentions the power and importance of "showing up"

Spot on! It’s been an instrumental book directing my approach to life and leadership in the past 2 years. “We don’t rise to our goals, but we fall to the quality of our systems” - so true.
