I bought one of these in July and it worked fine the first 20 or so times we used it, then the deadbolt stuck shut. We can't open it with the knob or the key. Tried spraying it with lubricant, lifting the door, wiggling, jiggling and everything else. Unfortunately there's no way to open the door with the deadbolt locked and there's no way to remove the locking mechanism or the door without being able to open the door. I contacted Swisco for help and they sent me a link to this video, which shows nothing I can use.
Hey Paul, did you install your new lock seat the same way shown in the video? Usually, we try to rule out any installation mistakes as a first step. If you think it's installed correctly, shoot us an email and we'll keep looking into this.
@@SWISCO Yes, I did. I think it was a manufacturing defect, another rep at Swisco has already sent me a replacement unit. When I get the jammed one one off (I'm going to saw through the bolt) I'm going to take it apart and figure out what happened. I also noticed the handle wouldn't go together properly at first, so I sprayed lubricant in there and a whole bunch of metal shavings came out, the hole was halfway filled up with them.

DOES IT REPLACE A JURALCO 322 LOCK?
Can this be used to replace a Papaiz lock?

@@SWISCO Hi I came here cause on Swisco's website, this 40-049 is suggested as replacement for Papaiz 322 . Any updates if that's a true fit? Thanks.
Ok i just checked, the screw holes are the same (papaiz 322 same screw holes distances as 40-049) thanks.
This guy has very dainty hands.
