I had natural ability when I was young, 66 now. I use to jump upon a 42 inch wall. The highest I could jump was 44 inches. I would do 3-4 sets of 12 with a 4-5 minute rest. It wasn't enough for me, im 5'9 3/4 inch tall.
@@michaeldillard1408 I’m saying did you do any strength training or do you do plyometrics. Did you do depth jumps or strength training and what kind of strength the training
I can hit my head on the net when I jump my highest and im working on my vert so I can get my head near the rim 🤣 it’s gonna be a while but hard work pays off

I’m 14, 5’11, with a standing maxed out reach of 7’9 and I can touch a 10 foot rim so if I did the math that means I have a 27 inch running vertical jump is that good?
bro i just recently tested my vertical jump. I don't jump often but it was only 28 inches :(. I can squat over 1.5 x my bodyweight I'm 5'11 and 200lbs I dream of a 37 inch vertical, how can I achieve it.

Would you do those movements slow to activate more muscle fibers. Like slow reps. Or fast reps?

Look, im 66 years old, we talking about in the early 1970 sports training was not nearly understood as it is to day. I was natural
@@Josepowerzoro No, because strength training wasnt well understood.
The science is great and all but how do you jump higher?
By making your legs stronger strengthening your quads glutes calves and hamstrings
@@Messup7654 wrong
@@TheCsePower search it up then
They do have videos on it, with the exact same photo too, just keep an eye out for it.
This video was so stupid
Tbh I was expecting more from a video called "How to Jump Higher" than just "buy our science-based program that improves eccentric stiffness."
