Man... this just keeps getting better and better!! I'm 16, and I'm grasping calculus concepts! This helps fuel my love for math, Sal. Thanks for concretizing my knowledge. I truly enjoy your math and physics videos!
I know he tried to explain it multiple times, but please finish out one thought before jumping into another way to "look" at things. I am trying to figure out whats what and you showing 3 different ways to do it when I am new at this.....welll i am even more confused. Idk how people are saying they understood this video LOL
Don't understand the last step- Why aren't you just writing the 2 terms in order like you explained all the way through? 3(cosx)squared times -sinx...? Where does negative three come from?
It's just a nicer way of writing it. Technically you could leave it as "3(cosx)squared times -sinx", but going that one extra step to simplify it is often what's expected on MC or free response questions.

How the heck does this guy write so neatly with a mouse!? I try to write math equations using my mouse and it looks like badly drawn "art"
It's very very very helpful.
Thanks
this is what I was looking for.
