For handlebars that are more than a half-inch curl, I have found that actually "rolling" or "twisting" the mustache from the inside and up and out, instead of under works better. if you roll it under, many times people's curls actually fold forward like tusks. by rolling it backward, it helps the curls to lean more towards your face instead.
I'm 2-3 months into my beard, god I wish I had taken pictures each week. Thanks for inspiring me to continue growing my beard, I'm currently going past the I don't know what to do stage, but now looking at your videos - THERES PLENTY I CAN DO. Thanks for the inspiration Greg!!!
This guy is too cool.Salt & Pepper hair. Amazing beard , moustache , hair !! Excellent brand Ambassador for beard brand. He would give younger models a run for their money !!
This is a thing that's coming back thank god, I decided to do the handlebar moustache a couple days ago I have a long way to go. I have to say that back in the 1800s this was a thing of stature and class. Cannot wait to see what I can create
Yeah, I usually use the hair dryer on my little tin of super firm wax, and I try to use it when it's still sorta melted. My main wish is for a darker wax because I find that it makes little grainy-pieces of white-ish wax when it dries that really stand out on the red beard. (FYI: the stache is a good deal shorter now than it was a few months ago in earlier videos.) Typically, I'll try to thin it out a TINY bit with black castor oil to give it some color and usability. If nothing else works, I hairdryer the hell out of it, and then get out the Got2B spiking glue!
@@GradySmith I just use a medium hold wax and add a drop of g2b for both sides. So far that has worked best for keeping the stash going most of the day.
Berzinsky!!! You rock dude! Surprised again to see him using a plastic styling brush opposed to a boars bristle styling brush to take care of those gorgeous hairs, but hey, at least he's using a handmade comb! Awesome work this week beardbrand with the videos! This daily vid thing came along at the same time my barber maestro offered me a chair at the shop! Still an apprentice, but now I'm a full time apprentice👊🏾💈🎉
Those type of brushes are fine. There's nothing on them that will snag. They are especially great for tangles. Brush down slowly and if you hit a snag or tangle, then you just roll out of it. Gratz for hitting full time apprentice tho!
When you say "hmm...mustache is getting pretty long...maybe I'll go handlebar." and then you search and find this video. Perfect, exactly what I needed. thanks
Great advise. Ive been watching your videos for a while, along with cut and grind videos, and I've decided to give a beard a go myself. After 2 months growth, it looks like I'm going to have the same colouring in my beard and stash as you. We are a the same age, but unfortunately, my head hair has left long ago. Hopefully in the months/years to come, I will have a beard to match yours, and if I'm down near London anytime in the future, as I live in the UK, I will pop into Cut and Grind and get a beard trim.
He’s got that sweet Ron Swanson voice. I started growing my moustache at the beginning of lockdown and it’s grown over my lip now. Trying to find a style I want to have a go at
I had my mustache (lamb-chops) going all the way down and up toward my ears from last five years, people used to have selfies with me...but recently changed to curly mustache only, loved your style mate, learning new tips from ya
The Wiseman patience will help. I've been trying to get volume on my stache and it's I'm 8 months in and I'm just starting to see a big difference. You got this!
I’m 21 and I’ve been growing my mustache out for the last 6 months and I’ve probably got half of what this guys has... geez I’ve got a long road ahead of me.
Sir you are very lucky because i like your video. I don't like ANY videos on UA-cam . But you are one in my channel list. And your moustache is very very very nice beautiful sir
3:05 earned some respect right there displaying some dry humor. love it I didnt realize so much work and effort went into beards and mustaches, or the whole package in general..
Im new to this ive tried a couple times before unsuccessfully ti grow a nice handlebar mustache vecause ive always loved the look of it,I have a thick coarse mustache hair which is hard to manage, ive used generic mustache wax from the local cvc but it never holds for longer than an hour and forget a windy day , Can you Tell me what I'm doing wrong and maybe suggest some types of waxes I could use for a more coarse hard to manage type of hair Thank you and great video!
So I've got about a 3½ month long beard in its natural state but I want to start styling it What can I do and what products should i use to get best results??? Thank you
I have a walrus mustache, I was a little late in trimming it and noticed it wanted to curl out. So I thought I’d let it grow out. It’s coming out just fine but think it’s a little odd shape for the handlebar style. I’ve gotten many good compliments so I’ll let it continue. Is this style an oddity?
I wonder if u could give me some much needed advice..after over a year i trimmed off an inch of my handlebars. They were 4 inches long. This hurt me to do btw..Problem is the ends were curling on their own.Tried NUMEROUS waxes to no avail. Is this something that is to be expected? Or is there a better method.I like a tight curl, but it was so bad i could never get them symmetrical.Sorry so long but i need guidance lol
It's looks so cool and very nice mustach and lovely beard and u look so young tq for ur tips witch is very usefull for me for growing my mustach and beard really it's so nice to see
Ok so how do i grow this from beginning to end? i have the stach and beard but not the length to pull this off yet. Any videos yall suggest to show from my stage to the end result?
Nice video, I think moustaches are cool things especially when you have one without a beard. I think having a moustache completely on it's own without the beard is pretty cool 🙂
I'm 15 and I have 0 facial hair whatsoever. I have no clue why I am watching this, but this guys hair looks amazing
You might have a beard one day, and then you'll be prepared!
-Josh
Im 24 and i still dont grow a full beard no worries you'll get There.
Now 17 (if you didn't die)
Have you gotten any facial hair yet?
I demand facial hair updates
There are playboys but this guy is a playman.
As a 28 year old man who grew up without a father and now have a beard of my own I really appreciate your videos!

Very kind--it takes all types, of course. Happy to be here.

This helped me a lot, I've been doing the handle bar for a while but was having trouble keeping the sides even.
Whoa I have never seen a mustache wax like that. I love the idea of a "gluestick" to make for easier application.
I dont do this without heating it first. I am trying actually warming it in a cup of hot water....more on this later.

@@GradySmith I just use a medium hold wax and add a drop of g2b for both sides. So far that has worked best for keeping the stash going most of the day.
Where did you find a hairdryer that sounds like that?
they were implying the hairdryer is what was producing the music in the background
"dumbass"^^
I wish that I could like your comment more than once.
😂😂😂
This comment is beyond genius level😹
Hhhhhhh he use gun surpreseur
Maintaining a beard & stash is an art in itself

Super helpful, dude has the game locked down.

I replace my brush fairly often (so it stays snag free), and I will use a boars bristle brush as soon as Beardbrand makes a 1/2" diameter barrel. :)
Greg Berzinsky cheers to that!
If I was in a crowd with Greg and someone tried to stab him, I'd feel obligated to step in front of him and get shanked to save him..
David Thomas you're hired for the security detail
🤣🤣😂😂

Legendary beard and mustache. Awesome.
I am looking to grow my first beard and you give good information and you show how to do it. Thanks! Amazing beard!
In the very near future, you will see me growing my beard from scratch.
Dude. Your beard is beautiful. I started leaving mine grow and I hope it looks half as good as yours.
Thanks Greg, great video.
He’s got that sweet Ron Swanson voice. I started growing my moustache at the beginning of lockdown and it’s grown over my lip now. Trying to find a style I want to have a go at
Thank you, sir, you have opened up a new world for me.
i hate this guy because even if he is at least 40 years older than me he looks 40 times cooler
Th3Sn1ks wishing he was my father lol ...
Th3Sn1ks for some reason I hate this guy too but I have no good reason to 😂
Th3Sn1ks he's 55 true story 😶
Th3Sn1ks, hahahaha!!! Ring maker, no way is he 55!! i'd say 45/46
So you're 5 years old then?
Just ordered the mustache wax and mentioned your name on the comment section. The product has great reviews, so I’m pretty stoked to try this out!
A lucky man here beard wise- just wanna say you are rocking that beard!!! Maybe in a few years I’ll get that length as well
This guy has the best beard ever...I too want this 😣
Good stuff. I haven't used the round brush in the direction you used it. Can't wait to try that this morning!
Let us know how it works out! Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for the comment.
Lol le way u look in pfp
I had my mustache (lamb-chops) going all the way down and up toward my ears from last five years, people used to have selfies with me...but recently changed to curly mustache only, loved your style mate, learning new tips from ya
I'm not a big fan of a curled stache with a big beard. But, I have to say yours looks really great. I'll try it. Thx
Might as well try everything once. Let us know how it turns out!
-Josh
Beardbrand I hate it you shouldn’t be allowed to have a awesome beard and mustache you should have to pick lol
Great technique. I will give it a shot and post the results on my channel. Many thanks.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear you were inspired to try it out yourself!
I just need to find some royalty-free music to go with my hairdryer :o)
I like how his hair dryer plays music everytime he uses it. I need me one.
You seem extremely humble
Is it weird that I'm here just to hear his cool calm voice?
You are getting sleepy....very sleepy.
Gregory Cotto yes..
Ever wonder if this is just a groomed up Bob Ross?
@@fannotafan1374 A happy little mustache!
That's because you're sweet
I didnt like the way my beard was growing but I do like my mustache. This is my future plan for mustache
Finally accomplished 😌 a handlebar mustache 🙌
Fresh as hell
Best moustache video i have ever seen thanks man
Next time i run into a big tough looking guy, I will picture him drying his mustache :))))))))))) … such a relief! THANK YOU GRACIAS AMIGO.
I actually enjoyed watching you curl your mustache.
You can tell this guy was made for this style mustache 👍
Thank you for taking the time and for having a plain backdrop.
Suggestions how to grow right length mustaches to get handlebar?
Getting some serious "Gangs of New York era Daniel Day Lewis" vibes from your look, and the mustache seals the deal.
If only I could grow something even close to this gentleman. Absolute god-like beard
The Wiseman Out of curiosity man, what can't you??
MON Ahumada Well sir, my beard doesn't grow in as thick and coarse as this gentleman. Also my moustache is lacking volume lol.
The Wiseman patience will help. I've been trying to get volume on my stache and it's I'm 8 months in and I'm just starting to see a big difference. You got this!
Kurt Dubz Thank you sir (:
Using a blow dryer that close and that long seems like it would damage the hairs with the heat?
This guy should have been the new dos equis guy.
#Beardgoals - The Berzinsky.
I’m 21 and I’ve been growing my mustache out for the last 6 months and I’ve probably got half of what this guys has... geez I’ve got a long road ahead of me.

can't stop laughing at the music
detailll3 it's a combination hair dryer and boom box from the 80s. They only released one song in the format though.

My beard can’t wait to look like his! Lol. Same color and thickness. Just need the length. What a blessing...

Is there a way to build body to your moustache or is it just genetics of follicle growth? Some of us have good beards but thin moustaches.

Great video! By the way, you could serve on that way we got going on in your hair! All in all a great look!
you're a legend dude !
Cool Moustache Sir. Beard on Brother
I wish you can make other videos about the other styles of his mustache.
Your wish is my command--on the docket.
Any advice when it comes to curling with fingers?
How many months does it take to grow a moustache like that? I can grow a very solid moustache but I've never grown it out for more than 2 months.
Nice video, I think moustaches are cool things especially when you have one without a beard. I think having a moustache completely on it's own without the beard is pretty cool 🙂
It's all good
Every man should aspire to look like this in their old age
Just curious. I have rather wirey moustache, and it is hard to keep it looking good. Any hints?
Thank you Greg for this video, it is really helpful. Also I love your Mustache
can I get a video of you grooming the wild mustache hairs? which ones to groom? if you don't have any, a video of how to not have any lol. thanks
Very graceful
Thank you Greg! I enjoy all your beard videos. God Bless you!
To have the mustache at that length do you just let it grow or is there an specific way to trim it as it grows ?!
Thank you so much man this helped me so much
Your products aren't available in the UK?
Can you link to the moustache wax please??
