I know it doesnt always work out the best, because quick step is a nice gap closer and is needed to get to the boss to apply synergy sometimes, but always apply synergy (especially equilibrium since its 12s) before the quick step buff, it allows you to fit both skills under the quick step buff a lot easier.
You said that you can run the new 7M build with 2 swift rings and nightmare set but in loawa I only see 2 mayor builds: Full crit/spec 7M with Poem of Salvation or the old Nightmare build with SRF and crit/swift + some spec. I'm guessing that since the new skills benefit more from spec you have to invest more into it to see an actual improve in dmg, and then you are forced to run Poem of Salvation for the 10% attack speed buff, having more dmg and less animation lock skills but being slower overall.

Hello, thanks for the tuto, very useful ;-) Few questilns though: - why catastrophe lvl 10? Most people leave it lvl 4 or 7 max - why bullet rain lvl 10? I see lots of people putting priority on it, but does it really compete with shotguns and rifles in terms of damage? - why is the nightmare set so popular on GS? Never felt like it i lacked mana? This is not a critic, I genuinely wonder :-)
- he has enough skill points to allocate it to lvl 10, this is why skill points are crucial for GS - bullet rain was recently buffed, with proper tripods and gem bullet rain is a nice filler skill to have, it does a good amount of damage - nightmare is the best relic set for gunslingers because they rarely go low on mana therefore they have the magic addiction effect close to 100% of uptime. However salvation set with crit/spec is also viable, in fact it has more dps than the nightmare set but it is very punishing as the only swiftness you get is from the relic gear Hope that helps :)
This is an older video at this point but you might want to include some clarification on skills, specifically skill point distribution. What you showed only shows skills to lvl 10 but many of us are at lvl 60 now and some of those skills should be at 12 or maybe 11, so which ones? 2nd In the west at lvl 60 with all the skill point potions acquired we only have 408 skill points to spend. This makes getting Dexterous Shot to level 7 either impossible or very awkward. You can run Focused Shot, Target Down, Dual Buckshot, and Sharpshooter at 12 and the other 3 damage skills at 10 (which is what I'm doing) but that means with the other synergies Dexterous Shot can only get to level 5. You need 12 more points to get it to 7. So you would need to run 2 of your damage skills at 11 to make that work. Is that worth doing just for Excellent Mobility? I'm not convinced it is.

kimochhhhiii i got a question bro, i’m running the vanilla 6 damage skills gunslinger, with shotgun rapid fire, and i’m wondering, since grudge/ cursed doll is a bit pricey in na eu right now, i’m currently running raid captain instead of cursed doll, i still have grudge, and i’m using the tripod in spiral tracker that gives movement speed on fast for 3 seconds, and i’ve worked a rotation that alternates with quick step and spiral tracker for the movement speed, and i manage 100% uptime and 140% movement speed, is this a bit waytoodank or is it okay. i tested in trixion and i manage basically the same amount of dps
Tbh, if you manage to make your set up work its fine! Since I dont know what ilvl you are at and what not, I would just try and slowly build into the newer build when I can afford to~
There was a balance patch which allowed bullet rain to be used well. Bullet rain can be used while moving while SRF takes quite a long time to cast + can't move unless you have spacebar out of it. Meaning to say, it can be harder to input the damage with SRF as easily
Hi, is there any reason to why most gunslinger go for 1200 crit instead of going higher ? I was calculating it and got that we would get: 42% base crit + 10% synergy skill + 15% peacemaker lv1 (only shotgun) + 10% adrenaline lv2 + 7% windcliff, thats about 85%crit rate, is there any reason to why we get more spec/swift instead of aiming for >90% crit rate ?
1200-1300 crit is generally used as its about 45%. 45% + 10% synergy is roughly 55% without considering adrenaline and windcliff. KBW is efficient on GS around 50-60%. Thus you are able to use your other combat distributions into spec/swift instead for value. Crit has diminishing returns the higher it goes

Since everyone will have different crit levels due to combat stats and quality of accessories, its hard to gauge. However, for KBW, you need 50-60% crit to make it efficient which is possible. Running ad2 simply makes it a bit more efficient. This is why at relic, having 1PM is quite good but at ancient 3PM is good since ad1 or ad2 can be achieved.

What happens if you use the grenade (the skill of the pistols) all the time between skills. Does it mess the rotation and timing? Would it give you more total damage or it is not worth?
Its a little bump in stagger damage mainly, for no additional skillpoint cost. I personally prefer death fire, with 4 skillpoints u get really long super armour to play around with
Sorry about the previous reply, I just fully understood your question! Pretty much I use spiral or equilibrium as synergy between the damaging skills. In the example I used spiral, quick step and equilibrium in the opening cycle because I use awakening in rifle stance first to activate nightmare followed by 2 rifle abilites. Meaning I might need more than 6 seconds in the first cycle. But yes, it would be redundant otherwise (unless just using skills to keep adrenaline stacks)

Yes of course. Dont forget, nightmare is perma dps increase after awakening and salvation stacks up slowly and loses its buff when at low HP. So you can choose depending on how youve been experiencing your raids so far
How? None of your skill pairings take 70% of your manna to cast, at most any set of 2 damage skills takes a little under 33% of your 3267 MP and you regenerate 145 MP per second. I don't think I can even get myself to 30% MP going through rotations as fast as I can against the training dummy were you never have to stop to dodge or do mechanics. The time it takes to complete each of your damage skills is most of the time you need to regenerate the MP it used, and the deficit is easily recouped while applying your synergy skills between each set of damage skills as the synergy skills all cost less MP than you recover in a second.
Nice guide. Just quick note: for 7m build salvation set,with all the Swiftness moved to spec maybe better. Salvation give attack speed, and this build 5 skills benifits for spec.The old build only 3 skill. Also rotating 7 skill before first skill cd refresh is harder,so little bit less cd reduction not feel that bad
Basically yes, but what I'm wondering is how does the bonus rifle dmg from spec affects the overall outgoing DMG, I haven't been able to find a reliable source. Whereas with shotgun I've figured out that Phys/mag piercing translates in outgoing dmg in a 1:2 ratio, giving approximately half the dmg increase per armour piercing point... I've also noticed that the rifle skills don't deal that much dmg accordingly to the spec invested... Maybe it's additive with your additional dmg stat? I'm looking for someone who knows about this 🤔

Crit spec edges out crit spec swift slightly but requires you to not make more mistakes because you naturally have longer cooldowns and movespeed~ if you want to run spirit absorb its completely fine, but regarding your fear of using gru + CD: when I first started I used grudge and CD. I joined alot of first time learning parties, I got hit alot, I died alot. But because it was a learning party, no one minded. Because I forced myself to use it from the start, I improved really fast and I dont regret it. Its just my experience and you can take it how you want!
Not as ideal since youd be losing more spec that way.. but I can see people doing it due to prices in NA/EU. So its ok but just keep in mind that neck spec gives more than 2 ring spec and spec does give you direct dmg~

They were generally distributed like this. If swiftness is not preferred, there is a crit spec build but will sacrifice alot of your mobility, meaning you might take more damage on a already squishy class

if bullet rain is just a filler skill, is it really worth to use it (eg at level 11) when you can level up 9 skills to levels 11-12 instead?
btw why do we cut shotgun rapid fire ? is it because its too slow of a skill or is it because bullet rain is straight up better

Why take spec over swiftness on necklace? Can anyone help explain?
Necklace max 500 per stat, rings are 400 combined. So as the priority is crit, spec then swift, the prio for necklace is crit spec

@@lyre5250 It would depend on cooldowns. Since spiral has shorter cd it usually goes like spiral, equil, damage, spiral, damage, equil, damage etc

Catastrophe do same damage before 50% and more damage after it. (This if u have 0 spec)

Relic bracelets can give up to 100, ancient 120

6 nightmare, rougly 50-60% to make KBW efficient

If we are talking about the same grenade it should do yes... Go trixion and summon a boss that shows its stagger bar, it should do!
