so baus has massive presence and is a scary player because his gameplay forcing both teammates and opponents to play around him making it so his teammates have a massive advantage because they have been practicing that type of play
People criticize Baus because he isn't scared to suffer damage in order to win. Have you ever watched the video explaining why you should almost always attack in Buckshot Roulette? That is how Baus plays the game. While other players aim to minimize damage to themselves, his purpose is to maximize damage to the opponent team through incredible wave management and movement. He has limitations, but his elo isn't a fluke; people just struggle to accept the way he plays since it's not pretty.
Yeah he tries to force the game to play at his pace and trying to maximise the amount of value he can get. Doesn't matter if he dies if he's still coming out on top, which ends up looking like inting to most players
People shit on Baus because he isn’t afraid to take damage to win. Have you guys ever seen that video on why you should almost always attack in Buckshot Roulette? That’s how Baus plays the game. While other players are trying to mitigate damage to themselves, his goal is to maximize damage to the enemy team with a combination of insane wave management & movement. He’s definitely got weaknesses but his elo isn’t a fluke, people just struggle to accept the way he plays because it doesn’t look pretty Edit: So I didn’t word my initial comment well, my point is that his approach is significantly less pretty but far more effective than people give it credit for. Playing too safe is one of the most well known mistakes in League, and it’s also the biggest mistake in BR. My point has nothing to do with the mechanics of the game, but the optics surrounding them. Just like many players in BR erroneously target themselves too often, many players in League overvalue their KD & neuter themselves.
That’s why they were able to comeback when they down a lot of gold; at that point playing safe won’t win you the game, you have to play aggressively and wait for your opponent to make a mistake
Its the same reason people were freaking out about fakers plays during worlds finals this year, the sylas plays were revolutionary of course, but the galio plays were honestly very normal. Like ulting zeus top before ending the game. Sure it risks fakers death but his team gets an extremely free cleanup after, its really not a crazy play but everyone was acting like it was when the real mvp of that fight was keria. I can easily see baus doing similar things.
People hated Hashinshin for this years ago, was he delusional in some of his takes? Yes, but he understood the game better than most people and would still win with 2/11 scores in high elo. Back when feeding was much worse because one player could carry the game.
they play around baus... That's the biggest difference. They play HEAVILY around him when he's not on galio/gragas. They love swapping because baus thrives in that.
What's hilarious is he was getting flustered by the lane swaps because he's not used to it. Meanwhile enemy team is totally maulding because they hate lane swaps, not knowing Baus is in his own team chat like 'You're just throwing me around!' 😂
I always saw Baus' genius since the beginning He strikes me as one of the best players of the time Been a big fan of him for years Good to see his upwards arc rn
Baus is somehow so underrated when it comes to his actual skills and knowledge of the game. Like he is mechanically so good and he understand the game, maybe even better than most pro players.
Baus is that one old man in an anime who looks weak but in reality he could bretah in your general direction and subsequently delete you from wvery conceivable universe
WP to this Sion he played safe during laning phase, minimized deaths and yea he let some cs go but now hes scaled and is working with his team to win the game! Well played to this Sion!
That side lane Galio and gragas clip is legendary. You should’ve also see todays tournament where baus played gragas and made a crazy play that won them the game when they were 9k gold down
I love it, I have been watching Baus's stream for about a year now and he has so much fun playing that it's impossible not to enjoy it alongside him. Also a really skilled player, his style has its flaws but that's what makes him a character
What worries me most is the chaos in their comms. You hear the other players talking non-stop, talking about 10 different plays in a span of 10 seconds, whereas Bauss just blurts out "on me" once every 3 minutes, and you know exactly what's happening.
@@pvshka True, they do have a lot of shotcaller type players. But i think baus recognizes what he has to do and just does it but doesn't communicate as much about what he needs. Probably cause he is used to just streaming and not needing to do so. It's still early days so we will see. But id still have someone who can understand and follow the plays but doesnt talk over someone that can't follow the plays properly and does talk. As for the chaos i think that it will go down once rekkles is on the team cause caedrel and nemesis are very vocal.
Baus is really good and he knows it its just not always entertaining to watch someone trying super hard while not talking as much, so he has fun with it and goofs off. He was the pioneer of inting scion which inevitably got the character nerfed. The dude's a genius.
People get so mad seeing him win, because their understanding of the game is "bad KDA = bad player + no impact". They unironically think he's just the luckiest guy in the world to get multi-server, multi-season challenger on a pure fluke. The guy is a genius whether you like it or not lmao.
The Galio outplay is just so insane lol. Baus is undeniably a strong mechanical and mental player, but he does have some big weaknesses that pro teams are going to exploit mercilessly until he can shore them up.
Lmfao Baus “ahh I’m dead guys, I’m dead” Proceeds to kite them for another 2 minutes until he’s caught again “Ahhh I’m dead guys, I’m dead.” Kites some more and then recalls, never dies
I'm genuinely impressed with how well they are playing together. They do have a issue with their early game, but they always seem to pull it back mid and late game. Baus's Galio play was insane. It was so hype, I remember Twitch chat was going crazy after that play lol. I really hope their early game is cleaned up and their comms. I really do hope they do well.
The Baus had so much pressure and tempo almost every game, incredibly cs, a lot of towers/objectives and only counting from the games against NNO 29th Nov he stopped enemy top laner's teleport 5 times preventing NNO from a 5v4. And basically 2 penta kills. Los Ratones is honestly such a entertaining team to watch 😂
I have watched celebrity match in league here in our country and I tell you they might not even be close to how pro players play but since their levels are even it was so fun to watch! Same goes here. I like seeing Nemesis and Caedral play again with Baus and it is so fun. I'm critical in watching matches since I always watch proplay mostly LCK but man I do know how to watch fun and exciting games!
I would agree with everything expect the questionable macro ,Caedrel literally out macro'ed the fuck out of Jankos ,they have by far the best macro in the NNO tournament .
Yeah agreed. I really dont want to be that guy but in my opinion if LR replace Baus the team will still operate effectively the same or better. Mid-jungle is very clean and caedrel & crownie is carrying macros
@@reili5098 I'm not sure about that, their macro is literally centered around Baus and his playstyle. They couldn't replicate this type of play without him. That's not to say they couldn't also succeed by playing differently with a different top, but just that it wouldn't be the same type of macro.
@@jayeshchhabra5329 idk from the pov of the other plays in LR it really does seem likes if we cover their top laners name then it could be any other challenger top laner imo. I honestly think that things are only working for now because its a lane swap meta on top of LR being 3/5 ex pros and are hard stomping every team in macro despite being behind early in a lot of the scrims. I'm not a Baus hater, all im saying is that i think baus play pretty standard in the scrims outside of the occasional int. I'm also not a fan of his champion pool, while he perform well on 3 of them I think the rest of his pool are rather lackluster and not to mention that most of the entire LoL scene has moved on to fearless draft which hurts him even more. That being said he did had flash of brilliances from time to time like the clips in this video but so did Caedrel in the scrims. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@reili5098you are forgetting that baus not being on the team will most likely lose the entertainment factor of the team and it is one of the main reason why LR is created. Also, Caedrel said himself their macro revolves around the pressure that he makes sure they can have other top laners but I don't think anyone can take how baus takes pressure all over the map while it's not highlighted most of the comeback plays they made is due to baus doing his things.
something i think too many people aren't really realising is he's functionally just winning pugs rn. He hasn't gone up against any real competition - mind you Baus is mechanically really good, people just forget it because he does insanely int builds to play his specific style. Now that he plays a pro-oriented style you see more of his mechanics. but look at every erl prodigy who has crashed and burned the moment they reached the lec, we won't actually know how good he is until he faces real opposition in a tournament that has some weight to it.
Baus is a seriously underrated player. But he does have his issues and still makes plays that are rather questionable at times. I am very confident that having more competitive games will make him an even better player and then I can see him becoming pro in no time.
I am saying this unironically... Did people *seriously* not understand that Baus is an incredible player? He's incredibly mechanically gifted and the way he manages to soak up pressure for his entire team, and seemingly create pressure *EVERYWHERE* for the opponent is honestly probably unmatched in the entire league sphere. Obviously he's running it down for stream, and he's proven that again, and again, and again, off stream and in korea. Yeah, he often overstays even when he's playing seriously, but with a little help from caedrel on that front he's going to be an absolute insane force to reckon with
Yes. but it is also two different games, Team game and ranked SOLO. If you have ever played even LITTLE bit of esports as a team, you would understand. It takes much more than just being "good" at the game to win in Team enviroment. overall been quite impressive, how he fits in to the team. While going 1/8 and winning easy.
@@Ztsakkeus yes, that's true. And a player that soaks up pressure/creates pressure around is PERFECT for a team environment. He can enable his teammates to be much stronger, even if he's "weak". What even is your point?
@@PPedroFernandes Exactly this. In soloQ the team often aren't prepared to capitalise on the pressure he makes, and the tempo he pushes - his 'on me' goes unanswered. In team play though, he's barely had a chance to say it and the team has taken two towers and an inhib. 'Good def' indeed. 💪
A lot of people only see his inting and says that he's only being carried when he wins and don't see that his death is either not a drawback at all and is sometimes actually beneficial. A lot of people just doesn't want to accept that his playstyle sacrifices his KDA for the benefit of the other lanes while also not making he and his lane be behind.
Sion was the Shackle and the weight of Rock Lee. He dies more than an Bronze player, yet still hit *Challenger* . When all said and done, _We Bomba And We Windows!!!!!!!!!!!_
Streaming bauss is the training arc all along, the korean camp when everybody doubted him, the world (riot) are going against him (with sion nerfs, bausen law nerf, bounty changes, etc), and we just started the tournament arc Cant wait for the final fight, the un-undying vs the unkillable demon king, with some sprinkle of humorous solo que instinct moments and the unpredictable last second clutches, this is anime as fuck LMAO
It would not be Baus if he did not have some fun with it. It's this mindset that enables him to pull those crazy unexpected plays he makes out of nowhere ;)
Streamer teams are a really good idea. The raw talent combined with the financial security of still being able to stream creates a highly motivated team just enjoying taking on the world. If they get some real results they can still opt out of giving the enemy the massive advantage that they are streaming their scrims but other teams recruiting raw streamer talent just puts a massive damper on their mood because they basically gamble on the team succeeding while giving up a lot of their streamer income and 96% of the time it results in a rank 16 of the region team.
I'm aint a baus fanboy but at this point no one can deny this guys skill. his macro and utter innovation to throw teams off is second to none yeah he trolls here and there but dudes cracked af.

Baus on that galio Game: WTF do You builds on This champ
Nemesis reaction that is the BEST. He basicly was talking about Bauses Galion build, chat sent him the clip :DD
He has limitations, but his elo isn't a fluke; people just struggle to accept the way he plays since it's not pretty.
lol nice repost
COPIED DISLIKED IT GUYS
Yeah he tries to force the game to play at his pace and trying to maximise the amount of value he can get. Doesn't matter if he dies if he's still coming out on top, which ends up looking like inting to most players
People shit on Baus because he isn’t afraid to take damage to win.
Have you guys ever seen that video on why you should almost always attack in Buckshot Roulette? That’s how Baus plays the game. While other players are trying to mitigate damage to themselves, his goal is to maximize damage to the enemy team with a combination of insane wave management & movement. He’s definitely got weaknesses but his elo isn’t a fluke, people just struggle to accept the way he plays because it doesn’t look pretty
Edit: So I didn’t word my initial comment well, my point is that his approach is significantly less pretty but far more effective than people give it credit for.
That's why he always tries to make sure that ALL enemy minions are dead at all times. He does as much at 11:53.
Huh i watched a similar video about backshot roulette but i don't think that was the conclusion i came to...
When baus says hes gonna get one more wave hes means it!
Brings a tear of joy to my eye stomping K'sante, but stomping Ambessa?!; even better, some may say. Great vid.
they play around baus...
I always saw Baus' genius since the beginning
He strikes me as one of the best players of the time
Been a big fan of him for years
Good to see his upwards arc rn
Baus is somehow so underrated when it comes to his actual skills and knowledge of the game. Like he is mechanically so good and he understand the game, maybe even better than most pro players.
Doing my 1 am cardio thankyou for giving me this rival.
whats 1am cardio and why does it sound like youre masturbating to him.
Baus had that chick break up with him, then instead of going to the gym he went demon mode on the rift...
that's why he's the demon simon
Baus is that one old man in an anime who looks weak but in reality he could bretah in your general direction and subsequently delete you from wvery conceivable universe
hes literally uncle iroh from avatar

WP to this Sion he played safe during laning phase, minimized deaths and yea he let some cs go but now hes scaled and is working with his team to win the game! Well played to this Sion!
bausffs best esports player in the world. best specimen of intelligent life in the known universe deadass frfr.
That side lane Galio and gragas clip is legendary. You should’ve also see todays tournament where baus played gragas and made a crazy play that won them the game when they were 9k gold down
Baus is the one player with the most limit testing experience
That Zion passive was the funniest shit I’ve seen from a pro player in years 😂
That last play, baus has gotta maintain the brand

xD I love him so much. Baus isn't just good, he's great. And with the right guidance he can make an enormous impact in worlds.
I love it, I have been watching Baus's stream for about a year now and he has so much fun playing that it's impossible not to enjoy it alongside him. Also a really skilled player, his style has its flaws but that's what makes him a character
Baus the type of guy to get shot because he thought he had sion passive
I appreciate the different POV edits, good job man keep it up
Gonna win worlds, light years ahead of EVERYONE.
Big big big!! *Weirdhandmovement
The big personalities of OG Dignitas are what got me into watching comp. This sounds awesome.
Honestly baus is kinda carrying a lot of these games. Working way better with the team than i thought
Honestly same
What worries me most is the chaos in their comms.
"Not as many deaths"
>Proceeds to show a clip where his match history is X/1X/X
Baus is really good and he knows it its just not always entertaining to watch someone trying super hard while not talking as much, so he has fun with it and goofs off. He was the pioneer of inting scion which inevitably got the character nerfed. The dude's a genius.
After this I hope the community finally shows this man some respect and love. The Baus hate was insane
News aside, that kill at 2:30 almost made me spit my drink out in shock from the damage
This Bausen arc is insane and I I’m all for it.
All the way to the big stage.
“Baus, you need to end the gam-“
*Looks at Baus suiciding in enemy fountain for fun*
“BAUUSSENN”
People get so mad seeing him win, because their understanding of the game is "bad KDA = bad player + no impact". They unironically think he's just the luckiest guy in the world to get multi-server, multi-season challenger on a pure fluke. The guy is a genius whether you like it or not lmao.
"I should be fine"
"What? How?"
Double kill.
Lmao
9:05 BAUS actually smurfin. like holy.
The Galio outplay is just so insane lol. Baus is undeniably a strong mechanical and mental player, but he does have some big weaknesses that pro teams are going to exploit mercilessly until he can shore them up.
it’s honestly really good that caedral is baus’ biggest fan
Lmfao Baus “ahh I’m dead guys, I’m dead”
Proceeds to kite them for another 2 minutes until he’s caught again
“Ahhh I’m dead guys, I’m dead.”
Kites some more and then recalls, never dies
i swear baus runs on cartoon logic. the funnier the play is the more likely he will pull it off. it's amazing.
"I thought i had sion passive" is such a legit argument for him 😂😂
I'm genuinely impressed with how well they are playing together.
Put Dom in. PUT THE DAMN DOMINANTOR IN!
I have watched celebrity match in league here in our country and I tell you they might not even be close to how pro players play but since their levels are even it was so fun to watch! Same goes here. I like seeing Nemesis and Caedral play again with Baus and it is so fun. I'm critical in watching matches since I always watch proplay mostly LCK but man I do know how to watch fun and exciting games!
damm he really is 6pek top student
Thanks for the laughs those plays were absolutely hilarious. :'D
baus remembered that caedrel wanted to mix talent with entertainment when he died to the fountain at the end lmao
"It's the belt." Caedrel said calmly.
I would agree with everything expect the questionable macro ,Caedrel literally out macro'ed the fuck out of Jankos ,they have by far the best macro in the NNO tournament .
I 100% agree, that's not questionable macro, that's immaculate macro.
Baus simply dont want to end the game without a kill. As you can observe his reaction having one in the end gives him a huge sigh of relief. :D
Baus is a seriously underrated player.
But he does have his issues and still makes plays that are rather questionable at times. I am very confident that having more competitive games will make him an even better player and then I can see him becoming pro in no time.
The real baus buff is that he’s died so many times and isn’t afraid to die again
First EUW team since years that I am excited to watch!
I actually cried laughing seeing baus walk into the fountain on galio LMAOOOO
And now on Dec 15th we are getting the best team of all time vs the best team of today.
This timeline is wild
This team makes me want to watch League again. The chemistry between Baus and Caedral is hilarious.
I just have to say that your content is the best in terms of league youtubers. I always look forward to this run it down series 🙏
Sion was the Shackle and the weight of Rock Lee.
He dies more than an Bronze player, yet still hit *Challenger* .
When all said and done, _We Bomba And We Windows!!!!!!!!!!!_
These guys have been playing for like a week and already have better comms than most of the 2024 LEC rosters.
They can make as many comebacks as they want, League players will still clown on people like Azzapp for never surrendering.
Streaming bauss is the training arc all along, the korean camp when everybody doubted him, the world (riot) are going against him (with sion nerfs, bausen law nerf, bounty changes, etc), and we just started the tournament arc
Cant wait for the final fight, the un-undying vs the unkillable demon king, with some sprinkle of humorous solo que instinct moments and the unpredictable last second clutches, this is anime as fuck LMAO
Incredible plays sprinkled with the occasional bit of trolling.
Damn 9:55 that galio 1v2 was actually insane xD. i thought maybe at best he traded 1 for 2 but no his movement is just too clean
