My neck of the woods - I work between Midgham and Thatcham stations - if you go that way again check out the door crossing at Theale - a very low down angle, makes the train look quite imposing.

@@basictraincontent I forgot theres also one quite near to where you were at Midgham. You have to walk about 1/4 mile along the canal back towards Reading but the vantage point is worth the effort.
