I went to a Toyota showroom in Penang 3 weeks ago and the salesman informed me that it takes 1 1/2 - 2 years to get this car.
Actually now better already. I did my booking last December and scheduled to get the car this May.

Rubbish marketing.. I booked this car on end FEB, until now no news about car arrival.
When I ask HQ, they even told me the only confirm coming batch is near end 2023,by that time new model already launch
Make sure there is traction control as UMW sneakily removed it from the Camry last time

Like I said because Camry is CBU, that’s why waiting period is really longer. But for Honda CKD, is it very wierd on why for those customers who order new Honda CKD models also have to wait which is more or less same as Camry CBU or could be worst than Camry CBU.
Yes lots of honda on the road, but quality and spare part still can’t beat Toyota and Perodua. Even Proton also can tahan longer than Perodua. Time will come as hearing many issues on honda. Proven that Toyota, Perodua and proton are lots on the road than Honda nowadays

The XV40 camry is still the best looking camry in my opinion
And it was the only Camry that is CBU Thailand, much better quality that CKD models using inferior parts and very crappy workmanship
Sales man told me need 1 year to get this car :( I find the accerlation is very very slow, and the pedal doesn't move the car so much in the beginning? Am I correct on my feeling? I thought it's 2.5 engine
Same to me. Honda pedal response better. Camry back seats too hard and not comfort enough although with recliner.
Love everything about the car except that poor terrible screen right in front.. Guess that poor resolution screen remains for the "uncle identity"
Better than honda camera resolution. Lanewatch camera as blind spot monitor is really poor resolution and honda reverse camera resolution is also really poor. Overall, worst than this brand

This facelift’s should be better, cannot tahan driving the pre facelift, sold less than 2 years, heavy acceleration and underpower, hope this facelift solve the quality

Hybrid cars save fuel, but don't save money. So long term NA 2.5. If you have the means to do replacements for any of the hybrid parts, and you enjoy the the peace and quiet of hybrid when its on EV mode, then you have your answer.
This car makes you like you're in Lexus for the less(er) money
it's also very comfortable as well because you can't go wrong with this camry

Lexus is a different ballgame when it comes to Luxury and Comfort. And the new ES is based on the Avalon, the bigger brother of Camry

Guess it has better head unit and sound system then the current Harrier. But well it’s a JBL/HK.
I find Jbl system on camry good in surround but sounds not visible and clear enough
