Great, honest, earnest, humble, informative, well spoken, ego-free narration. Attention to details without all the hype, flash, and fluff. Well done sir! I also like "...I have the smallest wrist in the watch community." Good stuff, man :) All true, these are great straps. I received my first as an add in on a previously owned watch. I have since purchased at least 6 sets for other watches. All of them look, fit and feel so Awesome and comfortable now.
I own a Seiko SPB053 (SBDC053) which is almost the same watch except for the colour of the bezel, dial, and hands. That Barton Elite Silicone Band is one of the most beautiful straps I have ever seen and I believe it would look good on my watch. I'm just wondering if would it be possible to replace those spring bars with Seiko 2.5mm "Fat" Spring Bars?
I like the Barton Elite but those thin springbars are a deal breaker because 2.5mm springbars don't fit in to the strap and specially when you have the divecore HP option which is designed to have 2.5mm fat bars. www.divecorestore.com/product/divecore-high-performance-strap

@@watchroll3310 I finally called Barton and asked them, if it would be possible to install a Seiko Fat Spring Bars in Barton Elite Silicone Band. I told them that I liked the unique colour of their silicone band and I believed it would be a perfect match for my Seiko SPB053 but I don't want to make any unnecessary wear or damage to my watch. A day or two later I got an email from them reassuring me that it was possible to install thicker Seiko Spring Bars with the help of a drop of dishwasher soap. I think it is worth trying so I ordered the same silicone band plus their Navy Blue Elite Fkm Rubber Watch Band. I only wish they would offer a rubber band in the same colour.

Amazing watch and band. That strap is the next best thing after a nice bracelet.
Looks like a nice strap. I’ll have look into that down the road.
Ritchie silicone straps also come with 2 different lengths.
awsome orient watch, what model it is?
What seiko is that? Both watches look amazing with that strap. I think I'll get one.
Thank you! Yes I think they look great! That is the 62Mas reinterpretation.
Great review, Is it silicone holding up well? or has it started to degrade? thinking of buying one just now
I been wearing this for a long time now. They are holding up more than excellent so far.
@@watchroll3310 Thanks for the reply, defo gonna buy it now

@@watchroll3310 Yes! I agree with you. It doesn't make sense they are not offering an option to accommodate "Fat" Seiko Springs.

If you dont change out the spring bars on a seiko watch it will wallow out the holes and ruin your expensive watch...
You are right
How have the Barton straps held up?
I changed it for the Divecore HP because of the springbars
@watchroll3310 OK. Did you have problems with the barton springbars?
@@tyarnold4088 yes they are thin and started to wear out the lug holes of the Seiko.
Them spring bards look super skiny and I am worried that might fail and will lose my watch
That is true, also my worry!
@@watchroll3310 if you wish to know they are 1.8mm with 0.8mm tips. You can uninstall them and install fat bars but will not be quick relese
@@vem4o Exactly!
Do you know if they make straps to fit Vostok watches?
Just depends on the lug width.
beware silicone band break over time
I don’t like these very much because they’re too grippy lol.
Them spring bar look super skiny. And not reliable
