This song is produced under the ‘Improving Gender Parity for Gender Responsive Justice in Pakistan Project’ with financial assistance from the Government of Germany. This song ‘Badlay Ga’ is a tribute to/appreciation of the hard work, zeal, and passion of those inspirational women who navigated their way within justice sector institutions against all odds. It challenges the patriarchal values perpetuated through societal norms and gives hope that women in these institutions can transform the institutional culture and respond to women in distress. The song is produced by Mishermayl Productions, with Ali Aftab Saeed being the lead vocalist and musician, and the lyricist.
