You are by far one of my favorite youtube chefs. I really like the way you present the recipe and make it seem so easy that I wouldn't be afraid to try even if it was my first time cooking. This had endless variations possible too. I want spinach in mine!

Good homemade soup. I had a problem roasting the tomatoes at 220 degrees but then realized that I needed it to be 425 F. 220 was Celsius. You can probably also consume this cold like a glass of tomato juice. It tastes like V-8 without all the salt.

I am impressed by this tutorial! Not just show you how to make the soup step by step with tips but also give you the reason behind each step! And the time management is well organized. I don't need to speed the video like other tutorial. Amazing! Thanks for making this wonderful UA-cam video!

Made this today and just added a red onion to the tomato roast to give it a kick! I then strained the soup after mixing for a nice smooth consistency. Amazing recipe!

Love that you didn't add any heavy cream to this. At home, I usually pop in about a handful of raw cashew for that extra creamy, hearty texture. Works like a charm ;)

I just made the soup and absolutely loved it 😍 I jused fresh, sun-ripened tomatoes out of my mothers garden and added an onion. Even though I did not add any surgar, honey or sweet paprika power it still was very sweet and delicious. There won't be anything left :D This meal will be added to my recipe-collection. Kerry Ann, you did a good job.

Super simple and really really really good. Didn't have sage used fresh rosemary instead but worked well and final taste was perfect. Not my opinion a Ukrainian chef loved this soup. I say experiment with other herbs too. Which is what I'm doing today with second batch. No basil so parsley is the replacement.

If you're ever in America, we have a company called Campbells who makes tomato soup ready to eat. I know it's not fresh, but it takes almost no time and effort and tastes good. Nothing against the nice lady in the video, but that's a lot of time and effort for tomato soup. So, options are good.

This is great but don't be shy to throw a can of tomato paste in to the base if you want it to have a bit of structure/base...fry it up in Olive Oil first then add your stock...go with the rest of the recipe from there...very good...happy eating.!!!!!

This is Awesome! Made it last time with some green tomatoes and omitted the stems. We had a lot of tomatoes in varying stages of ripening so I had to "top up" with some green ones to get the right weight. Loved it so much am doing it again.

I am very picky when it comes to my tomato soup. So I figured I should make my own and I’m in love with this version. (It’s really the only one I’ve done. I found this one to be the most wholesome to make at home without any caned goods!)
I’ve done this recipe a couple of times now and I’m still in love. I’ve added red bell peppers and it has turned out very tasty as well.

Hi Kerryann - I just made this recipe, it was so flavorful and absolutely delicious!! I love how roasting the tomatoes brings out their natural sweetness. My tomatoes were a bit bigger so I had to roast them a little longer. While they were roasting I made my own veggie stock for the soup and it turned out great! I love all your videos, I can't wait to try the rice and peas. Keep up the great work!
