Frank Pagan , hi Frank , I’m not sure if the specs of this is correct, but it says, 75% heat protection and 87% UV rays . It feels like 50% when your in there.
It’s the East Garden sunscreen from Lowes. It cools area by 15 degrees and has 75 % protection from the sun according to the description of the fabric. But it’s not that bad really, as long as I don’t get my trees leaf burns. The Japanese maples still get some burning though
Can you clarify on the side on the aluminum wood for the awning, what kind of sticker or how did you hold up the shade. Im having that issue at the moment and trying to see the best way to go about it
Good Day Sir, Kamusta? May question po san ako about sa Winter care nyo sa mga bonsai niyo. Do we need to put indoors the tropical trees or any kind of trees? Kasi wala pa po ako nakikita sa youtube na nag share about winter care here in California. Thank you Sir..
Vitto Cuachon , hi Vitto, not all tropicals are the same. During the winter, ficus , pwede na siya, under the patio, kung may bubong. Anymore questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Regards Mel
Oh, I see. How about Sir Olive tree, Bougainvillea, Ash Tree and Pomegranate kaya nya po kaya lamig ng California sa winter? Thank you po.
:) Dito po kasi Sa Blythe yung weather pag winter 75F sa tanghali tapos in night time nag drop to 30-35F.
Hello, I put hooks on the wood side and on the alumawood, I use the brown gorilla double side tape and plastic hooks. Once in a while when the wind is strong, I have to fix it and replace the tape.
Those trees sure do get a lot of love. Beautiful collection. Thanks
Matt Brennan , thank you Matt! Yeah, every summer they get a lot of leaf burns, so I just hope to minimize it.
Excellent job! Always thinking of your trees health! Commendable! 👍👍
George Smith thank you George!

Oh yes, I use the Gorilla double sided tape (the brown one). It’s much stronger than most of double sided tapes around.
Nice. Now can you please install some at my place. Gets to 120 😉😉😉
Sam Doecke, Aussie bonsai bloke , hahaha! Yeah of course I can! I think we will have a very hot summer coming!

So pasok mo sa loob
How did you attach the overhead sun shade?
