Improved Airflow. If you own an S550 GT and are looking for a little bit of flexibility with your cold air intake, this Roush Cold Air Kit could be the thing for you. This kit contains two different MAF tubes, so you can decide if you want to go with the larger one and get a tune for your car, or install the smaller one and skip the tune. Normally, a cold air intake doesn't give you that kind of choice. Which setup you choose, the kit gets the cold air from the grille, just like in the stock configuration. Again, this cold air kit is made only for 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GTs. Durable Construction. The tubing and cold air box for this kit are made of automotive-grade ABS plastic, so they're durable and aren't prone to heat soak. You get to choose either an 85 mm intake tube, or a 105 mm tube. The air filter is a high-flow version and is reusable, but has a dry element so you don't need to deal with oiling it. Easy Installation. Putting this cold air kit on your car is easy, considering it attaches using the same mounting points as the stock intake. You'll need sockets and a flat head screwdriver to bolt the different components into place. Plan on this job taking about an hour.

So the product page says this:
Power gains of 28 horsepower and 28 torque have been seen with the stock tune and the 85mm MAF/Venturi Insert Tube installed.
...But the video that shows the 28 HP gain says that it was achieved with an aftermarket tune. She then says that HP gains without a tune would be in the single digits.

Hi American Muscle. When I got my Roush Cold Air Intake, it came as part of the Performance Pac 2 which came with a Roush Calibrated 91 Octane Tune. Is this tune appropriate for removing the 85mm insert and going with the 105mm opening? Any info would be appreciated.
Anything better?
What tuner do you use
Will there be an issue when it rains or when I'm washing my car. The water would get in through the heat extractor into the open intake, would that be a problem? Please let me know.

FYI: Had a downpour in Mississippi this spring that soaked my filter and soaked my maf. I limped home from work with a check engine light and very rough driving car. Got home cleaned maf with maf sensor cleaner and blew water out of filter and car ran great again. It's rained a lot here and its my DD only has happened to me once but it happened. I believe it was because I was parked near building with gutters overflowing.

The real question is, do you sell the filter itself? I have got roush air intake for my 2015 gt and my intake turned from red to black. It’s dirty. I’m trying to find where can I buy a new filter..
You can clean it with compressed air if you have it

So, what I'm hearing is that this would be a wasted modification if you aren't willing to go with a tune (which voids your Ford warranty?)?

My local Ford dealer is also an authorized Roush dealer... They say that if they install Roush parts in your car it won't void the factory warranty. I've seen that some other Roush kits come with little doohickeys to flash a tune on your car - Maybe if you call around you can see if there's a Roush tune that's factory approved?
How do you block off the Extra port on the 2017 cars MFG'ed after 10/16, which is missing the top driver side oil tube (I think that is is)? Really, it doesn't come with parts for that??? i guess you really can't call it 2015-2017 then can you?
