Cheers for putting this up, I'm learning at the moment and its easy to work out with just guitar. Love the tone, got a vst called reaxis that does a good job of recreating this era. Sounds so thicc and crunchy

@@atomestudio8864 I watched an interview with John and he mentioned using a Zoom 9002 for the clean parts in Metropolis. Not sure about the other songs, though. I think it’s the one he did with the Captain at Andertons music.
7:47 that clean part is just beautiful
Masterpiece
Still surprised how much E Standard tuning is so versatile and can be heavy when creative enough
i loved the "Images&Words" Tones ..... humbucker from hell in the neck ... tone zone in the bridge .... THIS is the petruccitone !!!!!
Didnt he use the air norton in the neck?

This is JMP-1
Acho que não man, ou era Tri Axis ou o pré do Mark IIC
Triaxis
Exclusivamente nesse faixa ele usa um JMP-1, no resto do álbum Triaxis

Isolated guitars sound cool but isolated basses sucks
Well no. Admitadly they don't sound as cool. But a bass makes the guitar sound way better than it is in the song. It's not a lead instrument
