I'm happy to see the roasts return :) It's a surprise since you've said multiple times that you don't enjoy them and that the videos don't do as well as your usual content, but I found them more helpful than build guide videos since it feels like you give clearer targets for what a character should have when you've got actual examples of characters struggling without those things :)
I fully agree. Let's us see common traps and mistakes people fall into and why they fall into it, and how to possibly get out. For example I learned crit change on jewels is not good.

They do a lot better when I don't do them all the time, I used to do them every sunday or every other sunday and they'd do worse than my regular viewership, youtube also likes it a lot more tahn Twitch - It's very hard to come up with clever insults and try to be entertaining while also not fucking up and just having missed something like "oh he does have ailment immunity" quickly and I don't want to pre-watch the builds because then its scripted and I'm not a big fan of that
Cool to hear you found a way to make them work for you :) And yeah, definitely appreciate you doing them on the fly instead of prepared (which also helps the educational side since it hints at order of priorities)

Love your videos even though I pretty much quit poe and my last serious league was betrayal so it ended on a high note but hearin about where ggg went off one upload after the other was starting to get stale a bit. Oh man, I hope I can ever catch you streaming while doing this I would love to apply. I've been off and on playing PoE and the recent years I played a lot less so I was out of the loop on SO MUCH content it was almost like learning over again. Long story short, this season I've been wining it on a self cast spark build and I'm sure he would have an easy time roasting it.

I've never seen alt quality wither gem, but my build felt a lot better, since I switched to wither totems and arcanist brand mark.

dang I keep missing these. I came up with my starter build (poison scourge arrow totem raider) on the character creation screen, it's made to be roasted. where do I apply?
Funny thing about this sunday roast is Ziz can't make fun of people using Overflowing Chalice anymore.
My build is following the same guide that the first build is, you dont actually notice the mana if you have enough mana gen, and its pretty viable for atleast early red maps (which is where i am now). though i am in now way a good player xD (atleast still
Yo, as some who has the barest knowledge of PoE but still loves the game, this video was entertaining as fuck. PLEASE do more. Its great seeing how you improve builds while also giving people so much shit over it.
On the point of the shields being expensive, I don't know about you, but i've used about 15-20 dense fossils on a ilvl87 colossal shield, and the most armour I got was 2.1k, and it's the one i'm currently using. Oh and I've also been rolling with Harvest defense craft whenever I saw one, it's much harder that you make it look

at this point, after all the nerfs, any viewers build is crap LOLOL.
Honestly I know these videos are supposed to be a joke, but criticizing mistakes within builds provides good information on what not to do.
It's easy to tell if somebody took alira or 2 passive points. Just see the top, if character took alira and level says 95, it should be 116/121 points, and you hover over that and it will say required level 95. If character took 2 points, it should state 116/123, and required level 93.

Regarding the Shield-thing: I needed 42 Dense Fossils this league to craft my ~2,8k Armor Shield. I had like 2 crafts in that time with ~2,5k. It's definitely not "smacking one Dense Fossil on it". But yeah, playing SST and sitting on 2 EX with a bad shield is just dumb :D
Edit: Impale SST is actually completely fine and not worse than Bleed. But not going Glad for full phys SST is stupid^^

Please roast me Ziz! PoB, import Valastrazious, Toxicmineseverywhere! first time in 10 leagues I did not have a dedicated build to follow xD
Amazingly this made me feel better about my builds. I have plenty of 90+lvl, 2 or 3 death softcore characters, a few 10 death ones, and a single 60+ death one from Betrayal League that I started hate-playing against impossible odds out of spite when that league's crashes made me quit for two leagues. After seeing the second guy, Rashyn, and his saboteur... I feel so much better.

I asked ziz on a stream if he still does these cause I needed help. I think he feels bad cause he thinks he’s being mean but he’s not really good at insulting people and these videos give so much info. I was disappointed when he said no I wanted my build roasted. I’m not saying he should change anything and be more insulting just saying keep doing them.

Zizaran seems to be off, with the shield meta, yes IL86 colossal tower shields start as 15 chaos as normal rarity.
