  • Anthony Stevens, a Conservative councillor, was arrested at home in front of his children last August. He had allegedly committed 'hate crime' by tweeting to his 76 followers in support of his fellow councillor King Lawal, who had been cancelled and threatened for tweeting that 'Pride is sin'.
Astonishingly the police tried to remove him from office because ‘in their opinion’ they did not think Cllr Stevens was ‘a fit person to be a councillor’. He was later told that Labour party members had reported him.
Anthony tells this unprecedented story to Jacob Rees-Mogg on GB News - it involves arrests, interrogations, media censorship and collusion between police officers and Labour party activists.
Anthony and King have both received the support of Christian Concern and the Christian Legal Centre.
