The climate has never changed as fast as it is now and the science analysing climate started 200 years ago. There are thousands of indicators that the climate is changing rapidly.
Guilt? It's not about guilt, if you feel guilty then that's your problem. It's about understanding what is happening and changing behaviour so that your kids have a future.
You mention ozone and the fear that caused, that fear pushed all governments across the world to take action and it is that which repaired the ozone layer. Manufacturers changed their products and peoples lives were not affected.
